Consept training, 10-day stressful walks programme is amasing!

Helpmydog is the best place to learn how to have a great relationship with your dog. One of the best courses is their 10 day plan for stressfree walks. Who doens't want a dog that is totally relaxed on walks? And it is all done through simple and fun games. Great support and help from Helpmydog on the FB page and from other members. Best place to be for dogowners!

Help my Dog saved my relationship with my terrier. I was at a loss and HMD helped me, particularly for reactive dog walks and walking properly out and about. Their 10 day plan for stress-free walks was a revelation. It wasn't long before our situation started improving. I've continued being a member of HMD because I want the best life for my boys and to live a happy, relaxed and confident life.

Loved the 10-day stressful walks plan. It gave me a structure to follow and really helped my dog stop pulling and being reactive on our daily walks. I've now joined the hub and there is so much information in there, a great friendly community to offer support, and lots of learning to continue our progress. I would highly recommend these guys without doubt.

Having trouble accessing info and more trouble trying to cancel. I signed up within the last 24 hours. I was hoping for easier access.

I’m starting to think this is a scam. I paid for the course, they’ve been emailing me the daily videos to watch but the login details/ password they sent do not work. I contacted them about it 4 days ago and have had no response at all.

Reply from Helpmydog
Paid, received email with log in details which didn’t work. Received further email saying ‘try this/try that’ but still nothing. Emailed again & now not getting any response from them. Going to contact credit card company to get a refund. Avoid!

I cancelled my subscription on 4th September but was still charged £42 on 29th September and 29th October. I am still waiting for a response to my email regarding a refund.

I am very suspicious about this company. They advertise on Facebook. People make comments, but they don't allow you to see the comments. They also only allow you to like their posts, not laugh or be angry at them. I also read the small amount of low rating reviews on Trustpilot and those concern me and the responses don't inspire me with confidence. Also, the costs stated in the video are lower that what review from customers state they paid. This company should be open and transparent.
I signed up for this and the money left my account, I received an order confirmation but no login details...Is this legitimate ?

My credit card was charged for the Help My Dog (walk) training program, but I have not received a link to access the training and have been unable to find any way to contact anybody to find out how to access it.
Update: I was finally able to make contact with Support, who figured out why I did not get my Program link, and fixed the problem. The training program itself is quite helpful and I am now looking forward to using it.

Be very careful and understand all charges before subscribing. I was charged for monthly "hub" payments which I did not request or have notice of. The company also limits your access to videos after a few weeks (unclear?) and if you don't pay for "hub" fees. ALl very unclear and highly questionable, BE CAREFUL.
The vendor refuses to refund Monthly Hub fees which are not even disclosed on its website. No terms and conditions are provided either. I had no idea that access to this course required payment PLUS ADDITIONAL MONTHLY FEES. Supremely misleading and their refusal to refund HUB fees, which were not adequately described and are useless when the course is cancelled, is just confounding and wrong. Again BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT CHARGES THEY ADD TO THE ORDER FORM_THEY ARE NOT DESCRIBED AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND THEM

Tom always explains the why and demonstrates the how.
The hub contains so many videos on the skills our dog was lacking. The games are fun to play.
I would recommend all dog owners to try this out. It made such a difference to our lives and help us to help our reactive dog.

Spent £100 so far. All to be prepped for the contestant reference to the subscribed HUB
One exercise per episode, and the rest are accessed via the HUB.
In every single session the HUB is mentioned at least once, instead of talking about the subject i have paid for.
BTW- Have in told you about the HUB??
Seems a bit of a con tbh..

The training is clear, fun and not difficult. However, my labrador/retriever cross is so food driven (obsessed!) That it wasn't right for him. He was too focused on the food, even if it was boring. The Team were great, made some suggestions (which unfortunately didn't work for us) and have now refunded my money with no problem.
If you don't have a food-hoover for a dog, I'd recommend the stress free walks course with Dr Tom. Im now searching for something not food-based.

Help My Dog Review
I am extremely disappointed in the course I paid for. 10 days, 15 minutes a day it says. So far I have seen nothing new. All the tips and info given have been available for free since the first books about positive reinforcement hit the libraries. I have not seen any “games”, just basic training I have repeated (or variations of, yes including making funny noises) thousands of times already with my dog. My only goal in buying this course is to stop my dog pulling on the lead. When following exactly what this guy is showing, the effect of the treats last less than three seconds and the dog starts pulling again.
I have not seen a single dog with problem behaviour. What I have seen is the guy showing stuff with dogs which are obviously trained and ready to hit their obedience competitions. And it all happens in a dedicated zero distraction environment. Not once have I seen a dog which pulls on the lead.
This guy must be from another planet. How many people have a large enough empty space to, for example, the exercise where you walk in circles and throw treats in the middle? Giving instructions like: “Put your dog’s normal walking gear on but instead of taking it for a walk start teaching him something new.” Yeah, right, such an easy task and not at all stressful for the dog.
What about the rewind exercise? The guy says things like: “start by putting a treat in front of your dog.” Does he not realise that we are training a dog which pulls on the lead, there is no way you could put a treat in front of a dog which walks at the end of his lead.
In the “Apply pressure” video. The guy says: “Look how nicely this dog walks next to me.” and “This dog has never pulled on the lead so I am actually having a hard time applying pressure.” Good for you.
The video about greeting visitors is a joke. There are two dogs who have already been trained to go on their beds and staying there until released. Where is the dog that jumps against the visitors? Where are the visitors? Show us how to achieve results in 15 minutes with a “real” dog and actual visitors to the dog’s own house.
And the constant advertising of his other products even within the training videos. I did not pay to listen to marketing talk. And why would someone need to pay for extra services when this course promises to take care of so many problems, not just pulling on the lead? Videos misleadingly titled “Supercharging” are nothing but marketing talk and the guy scribbling stuff on a whiteboard with a light blue pen.
Obviously I want my money back, the product is not what is advertised.

I am currently a Behavet vet dog client via my pet insurance. However, this 5 Day Challenge (Help Your Dog Thrive in 2025) helped cement some of the theory behind games to help my dog build optimism and skills in being happier in the car.
I just love everything they stand for. You can truly see that dog care is at the heart of everything they do. As dog owners, it's so refreshing - in the rise of aversive trainers popping up - that key to a happy, thriving dog, is listening, and starting a lifelong conversation with your furry companion.

I have been in the Help my dog Hub and taken part in the Thrive 2025 challenge - it is always fantastic learning, simple explanations that also go into the WHY (which means you can start to train your dog with less judgement for instance ;)) and I always have fun trying out the games with my own dog! For dog professionals I also find the explanations quite helpful to learn how to explain things in a kind but clear way!
