The issue was that your emails had gone into junk, and so we had not been receiving them.

Normally, cancelling a Hub subscription is very simple and can be done at any time by emailing us at least 14 days before the renewal date. We always aim to make this process smooth and stress-free for our Members, so we’re truly sorry this wasn’t your experience on this occasion.

I am so sorry to hear you had trouble getting started — that’s a very unusual experience, absolutely not the experience we want for anyone.

Occasionally our emails can get redirected by email providers into junk or spam folders, which can mean they’re easily missed — especially with automated login links. We completely understand how frustrating that can be, and on the 13th October, I personally resent your login details to you.

If you are still unable to access the course, please do reach out to us directly again — I’ll be more than happy to resend the login details and help you get signed in step-by-step. We can also offer alternative ways to deliver access details if needed, so you can get inside smoothly.

Hi Barbara! Thanks so much for getting in contact via Trustpilot - I have just had a look and discovered that the reason you haven't received anything is that I can see there's a typo in the email address you used to sign up!

When you sign up for the course, you receive an email with the links to the membership site, as well as the username and password.

Our email address: team@helpmydog.com is also displayed on the website page you used to sign up, but I do apologise if you missed this - I have passed on your feedback to our developers to put the email address in a few more places on the sign up page.

I've just corrected it and and sent it back out to you now.

Thank you so much for your message. I'm so sorry to hear that there has been a misunderstanding here.

I've been having a look at your order details, and reviewing the emails between yourself and Emily on our customer service team, and I can see that you requested a refund for your 10 Days of Stressful Walks programme on 20th September, which we quickly arranged for you under the money-back guarantee. Since you had received a refund for the course, your access to the course was stopped at the point whereby you received your refund. I hope that clears up your query about your access to the videos.

With regard to the Hub subscription, I can see that you purchased this membership on the 18th August alongside your course, and ticked to confirm your understanding of the terms and conditions. We sent out the details of the Hub logins alongside the logins to the course as soon as the purchase was made, so I am really sorry to hear that you felt that you didn't have notice of the charges or membership.

From reviewing your emails with the customer service team, it appears that your request to cancel your subscription was actioned promptly, as soon as you sent the request for us to do so. It does mean that all access to your training has now ended, but if you do want to sign back up with us in future, we would love to assist you again.

I must admit that I am really saddened to read this review today when we offer a money-back guarantee that can be easily arranged by contacting us via the Customer Service email, which is shown clearly on the course and your sign-up email. Had you got in touch with us beforehand, we could have helped to explain all of the hurdles you were facing, provided additional dog training advice and also arranged for you to receive your money back.

The person in the videos is Dr. Tom Mitchell, who is a leading Veterinarian and Behaviourist and has worked with hundreds of thousands of dog owners across the world, both through Help! My Dog and his Veterinary Behaviour practice, Behavet. Tom teaches all videos with his own dogs who are at varying stages of the training, and sometimes it is much easier to demonstrate training in full, for the benefit of beginners, with a dog who has some familiarity with the concept. However, you will notice in the videos that he often offers troubleshooting for issues that he can anticipate may crop up with a dog who is brand new to concept training.
