As a landlord, working with help2Rent has been an absolute pleasure. I receive my guaranteed rent every month without fail, making the whole process smooth and hassle free. Their efficiency and professionalism are top notch, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with their service! Highly recommended!

Appalling Customer Service and Unreliable Communication

My experience with Help2Rent has been nothing short of disappointing. On May 24th, 2023, I spoke to a member of staff who was very polite and helpful. I was advised to send a direct email to their provided email address, and they assured me I would receive a response by Tuesday, as it was a Friday leading into a long weekend with the bank holiday on May 27th, 2024.

Fast forward, and I did not receive any follow-up call or email. Since then, I have contacted Help2Rent over the phone on two separate occasions. Each time, I was promised a callback shortly, yet none of these promises were fulfilled.

Based on feedback from three other users of your service, I am not surprised that you have a mere 3-star rating from a total of 3 different reviewers. It appears that my experience is not an isolated incident but rather indicative of a broader pattern of poor service and unreliability.

The fact that Help2Rent failed to respond to my initial email, as requested, and ignored my two follow-up calls, has been a blessing in disguise. I always adhere to a principle that one should never trust an individual or business that does not respond or adhere to the basic responsibilities associated with their operations. This lack of communication and follow-through is a clear reflection of Help2Rent's standards and priorities, which, unfortunately, seem severely lacking.

Given my experience, it is evident why Help2Rent is struggling to maintain a positive reputation. Businesses that fail to meet basic customer service expectations are unlikely to thrive in the long run. I will not be using Help2Rent’s services in the future, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for more reliable and professional assistance.

Sent me an unsolicited, unrequested junk email. We do not subscribe to receive any marketing rubbish from any company in the world. The email contains loads of links to click on so we treat this type of email as a scam and will report to the UK Govt.

The website gives false advertisement…

The website gives false advertisement you look for one bedroom and view it just to find out it’s shared, plus they always cancels a viewing, and they turn up late never on time, also the website is poor it never loads, I always use to think it’s my internet connection but it’s the website itself

Hi Andy, having investigated your complaint i can confirm that the website does not infact give false advertising as tenants who seek 1 bedroom properties are also eligable for shared room and studio flat as well, and i have had a conversation with the team who have said that if the property is still available then they can schedule in viewing and as we do not own these properties falls on the landlords or agents to let us know so if they have let the properties there is nothing we can physically do about it, the load time as well is dependant on the the 173 local authorities that we are servicing and their tenants however we have taken this comment on board and have addressed it with our IT team to look in to, Thank you for your comments and hopefully i managed to answer the questions that you have raised

DO NOT USE THEM

If I had the choice not rating this company then I would not use any star. It's a awful company whom they make lots of promises at the beginning then they do nothing when you ask for help and support. They are very unprofessional dealing with any kind of issues. They have got me a tenant who have not paid their rent for 6 months and they got me insurance which started after the tenancy agreement and I can't even make claims. They are blaming on the local government for this mistake and I asked for contact and yet still they have not provided. They are not on landlords side. They only protect tenants. Do not sign up. I'm actually going to take them to court and my solicitor trying to find out who these people are. It feels like I'm in a fraud trap and they have deliberately given out of date insurance so I won't claim. All the way through they were on tenants side whom they were apparently getting DWP support which I got to know about it recently. Even today there isn't anything that they do to support or help me.
