I was very happy with the service…

I was very happy with the service regarding the broken zipper on my jacket. I did not think the item was under warranty anymore but the customer service department let me know that it was. The customer service was excellent, very responsive and hassle free. I have since bought more Helly Hansen clothing, it's a great company that stands behind its products. Thank you!

Disappointed with customer service and pricing transparency

I purchased a jacket during Black Week, advertised at a discounted price of 2475 SEK (originally 3300 SEK). It seemed like a good deal until I later found the exact same jacket at XXL for only 1400 SEK. This left me feeling misled.

When I contacted Helly Hansen to address this, I received a standard reply explaining how to return the item. There was no acknowledgment of my concern about the price difference or any explanation provided. The customer service response felt impersonal and did nothing to address my disappointment.

I expected more transparency and engagement from a brand of this reputation. While the return process seems straightforward, it doesn’t make up for the lack of care in addressing pricing concerns.

I recommend carefully comparing prices before purchasing from their webshop.

Where are the customer service?

I bought a down jacket on Black Friday, haven't heard from them about any progress of delivery until today (Today is Thursday), even I sent an email to their customer service (case number #00687081) last night and I don't hear any feedback till the end of the day today? Where are they?

Coat issue? No problems!

Winter coat bought a year ago and couldn’t be zipped anymore. Contacted Helly Hansen to explain the situation and they offered a full store credit of the price of the coat since it’s unusable anymore. After I provided a few photos and the invoice, the customer service was really nice and communicated very clearly. Never had problems with HH products before, since it’s quality, but now I know that if there is an issue, they have great customer service.

Excellent Warranty

Customer Service responded immediately to my inquiry about some pocket insulation that had been dislodged in a jacket that was several years old. Very quickly, they said it was under warranty and gave me store credit for the entire amount of the jacket. Really incredible way to handle this.

Helpful customer service, when they respond..

The assistance that Katherine provided made up for the poor manufacturing of the product I ordered (the metal tag on the sleeve came off whilst the jacket was resting on a coat hanger) and the time I had to wait after I sent across my return claim - she was attentive and helpful, prompt in her response and I wish all customer service representatives were like her!

Best customer service, most comfortable boots ever too!

Purchased a pair of hiking boots from HH. Turns out, they are the more comfortable boots I've ever worn. Well built and good looking, these were exceptional. however, when one started letting water in (waterproof failure), I contacted support and was assisted by Kevin. He provided excellent support and arranged a replacement pair to be sent out - even after a year, thanks to the 2 year warranty. Great service, great boots and exceptional support from Kevin. Well recommended, thanks HH.

Literally the best outdoor products…

Literally the best outdoor products available! I am on the ocean every day in their gear, and cannot be more comfortable, The experiences I have had with customer service have been absolutely perfect, cannot recommend this company anymore

Really poor experience all round

Really poor experience all round. Bought a light weight rain coat in spring. Only wore it a few times. The zip opens from the bottom. Contacted them. The only option they had was to send the garment off to Scotland to be repaired! The form I had to complete was epic. I went back and complained that I shouldn’t have to do this on a coat 6 months old. I was given the value of the purchase in store credit. Still left with a broken zip as the coat is no longer in stock. Chose a similar one. Waited. It didn’t show. Contacted customer services. They take at least a day to respond. Then told that too was out of stock. Store credit reapplied but took a week. Ordered another coat. Came but didn’t fit. Returned but took two weeks and three emails to get a refund. They refunded the whole amount as store credit despite me paying some of the total on debit card. You can’t use store credit to cover delivery either. This company is a shambles. So still left with a broken coat and money in store credit I can’t use. Joke. What I want is the store credit refunding in full to my debit card so I can buy a coat fit for purpose.

Brilliant design and choice of materials. Customer service was awesome when orders were delayed. Performance of sailing and all weather gear outstanding; don’t use the HH own review as a guide - this is totally brilliant equipment

Poor medical prof program

Claim to provide medical professionals a discount through the discount program. Program does not consider Medical Laboratory Scientists a medical professional. This role was essential during the Covid pandemic and is still critical for medical care.

Great customer service!

Contacted HH about a defective issue with a jacket I had purchased a number of years ago. Sent some pictures to them and description of problem and they responded right away with a credit to use on their website. Very pleased they stand behind their products.
