Worst customer service ever
Very disappointing experience with Havaianas customer service.
I purchased a pair of Havaianas at their Gatwick Airport kiosk in August 2025. Six months later, the strap anchor tore through the sole despite the flip flops being used normally and the soles still being thick and in very good condition.
I provided multiple photos, proof of purchase, and explained that this was clearly a durability issue rather than normal wear and tear. Despite this, the claim was dismissed without any meaningful explanation and without any physical inspection of the item.
What is most disappointing is the apparent disregard shown towards the customer throughout the handling of the complaint:
- Repeated refusal to escalate the case to a supervisor,
- Another support case being ignored or closed without reply,
- Responses repeatedly stating “this is all we can offer” without properly addressing the evidence provided.
The only solution offered was a small voucher INCLUDING shipping costs, which does not even cover the cost of a like-for-like replacement and still requires additional spending.
I have owned Havaianas before and previous pairs lasted years, which makes this experience even more frustrating.
Havaianas is an iconic brand and normally the kind of brand you remain loyal to for years. It is a real shame that, due to such poor customer service and complaint handling, that will no longer be the case.
A well-known brand should stand behind the durability of its products and provide a far more professional level of customer care than this.

Just read the reviews and do not order from them. They do not want to help when you have a issue. Its not easy to complain. I uploaded photos which was a struggle but something you have to do with a complaint. Eventually I managed to do it in another way but not everyone will figure this out and they will give you no help. My sandals were in poor condition so I was told I could get a refund minus the delivery which I told them I do not agree as they were faulty. They said to send and they will see and all they did is refund me minus delivery and never even contacted to tell me they was not refunding the delivery. Now I cannot be bothered to argue the delivery because the getting in contact is so bad and time consuming which is probably why they do it, knowing customers wont bother but one day they will realise if we all keep writing reviews of our experience, they wont being doing well into the future. Please please please do not order from them

Don't refund for out of stock items
Placed an order on 25th February and am still waiting for a refund nearly a month later. The item was not in stock, yet, this company did not cancel my order and process a refund and have just kept my payment. Even after I contacted them and they agreed to refund me they still haven't. How can you think anything other than that they are scammers? Had issues before with this store sending out a completely different item from the one ordered. I will shop elsewhere in future.
Great Experience From Start to Finish!
I was a little hesitant to place my order after reading some mixed reviews on Trustpilot, but I absolutely loved the aqua design for summer and decided to go for it — and I’m so glad I did!
My order arrived about a week later and was beautifully packaged in a box, which immediately made a great first impression. Everything from ordering to delivery felt smooth, easy, and very reassuring.
I’m genuinely so happy with my purchase. The whole experience exceeded my expectations, and the product is exactly what I hoped for. I’m really glad I took the chance, and I would happily order from them again. Highly recommend!
Stay away! Missing orders - TNo customer service!
Order two pairs one came in a simple envelope. I was the one who had to reach out to customer service just to inform me "that it turned out they were out of stock and just sent what they had. To compensate me they will make a refund for the rest..!"

Very disappointing customer service…
Very disappointing customer service experience. I contacted them simply to ask where my order was, but instead of checking properly, I was incorrectly told that my payment hadn’t gone through. I provided proof of payment, yet the issue still wasn’t resolved.
I was then told the case had been “passed on,” with no explanation of who it was passed to or what the next steps were. Eventually, I was just sent my order number — which I already had — instead of an actual update on where my parcel was.
The whole process felt disorganised and poorly handled. It seems like their system is outdated, and the customer service team doesn’t thoroughly check information before responding. Overall, communication was slow, unclear, and unhelpful.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever! Shienna the customer service agent did not even try to help me with my problem and just try to give me some generic answer. They robbed me because my order never came after I paid and they wouldn’t send me a replacement package. The Shienna customer service rep was not listening to my frustration and did not understand it. I hate the company now and I tell everyone by word of mouth to avoid this company at all cost!!!! Horrrible.
Ordered the wrong size
Ordered the wrong size, asked for a cancellation right away, got zero response. Order still showed up, and returning it costs nearly £6 with no digital label. The print label came through about x15 via email. Customer service is non existent.
How to get a customer to give up

I got an email today to say that 12 photos didn't show sufficient detail! I am of course finally admitting defeat. Don't bother complaining to them, you will get no satisfaction as they simply do not care. If you haven't yet made a purchase I would urge you not to. Take note of all these reviews and shop elsewhere.
The most awful customer service and quality
I feel I need to leave a further review as I am absolutely incensed by how awful this companies customer care is. As a disabled person, I was informed I would either have to pay the set fee to return my items or travel to Carnaby street in London to return them. I wouldn’t have minded paying the fee, albeit what company now charge people to return items!!!! But I had followed the size guide to point and that’s how I ended up with the wrong shoes aa it’s evidently inaccurate. This is not to mention the fact I had been left stranded after my third pair snapped at the toe post. Please avoid this company like the literal plague!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Purchased my usual size at Gatwick airport, after returning home, realised they were so much larger than all my others. The phone number on the receipt doesn't even exist, so I rang the main customer service number from the website and was advised to return them to the headquarters for a refund, it cost me £7.00 to send them to Madrid, they wouldn't accept the parcel, so I then had to wait 4 weeks to get them back from Royal Mail. Now I'm stuck with a pair of giant flip flops I can't wear and £47.00 down! Customer service advisors all tell lies and fob you off with false promises and the wrong advice! Not even worth a 1 star review.

They sent me a pair of sandles one strap was way looser than the other so my foot would hang over the edge after asking for numerous photos they accused me off pushing my foot out! and i would need to pay for return!!! complete farce of a customer service- avoid like the plague!!!!

Terrible flip flops for how expensive they are. Very uncomfortable, can't walk up and down stairs with them. Straps rub on toes leaving blisters. Just a flat piece of rubber. Can get better more comfortable flip flops for 10% of the price
AVOID - SANDALS SNAPPED WITHIN 2 WEEKS
Havaianas Luna Flatform snapped within 2 weeks and not overly used in that time - disgusting! Must be a fault with the manufacturing as other reviewers have had the same happen to them. Contacted customer services over a week ago and not even the courtesy of a reply. Will be taking this further now to get my money back.

Sandals broke within a month and sprained my ankle on holiday. Contacted Maria at customer care who has been totally unhelpful fails to respond to emails and had the cheek to offer me a voucher for another pair instead of a full refund. After sales at this company has really gone down hill and would not recommend products which in my opinion are not the quality they used to be. Very Disappointed to say the least.
