Insurance and none gold items
An initial enquiry and a request for a postal envelope means ticking a box for level of insurance cover, once selected there is no further opportunity to change it, nor is the figure selected mentioned anywhere, not on correspondence or on the envelope.
When you have sent off your gold you are given a price, you then have to accept or request your gold to be returned, unless you have ticked a box to have none gold items returned to you (at your own expense) you can't change your mind, and accept the price and request none gold to be returned. Once you click accept, all doors are closed. website is unduly restrictive and inflexible.

Positive actions
Just wanted to share the positive actions and the honesty of Hatton Garden Metals. I raised an inquiry to sell some silver and was guaranteed a really good price. I selected the option to get a postal bag. However the postal bag did not arrive in time and the guaranteed price elapsed and the price reduced quite a bit. After speaking to Jodie and sending an email with details, Jodie sorted out all the issues and paid me the original guaranteed price. I had a few issues, but it ended up so positive, i thought I had to recommend.
