Shockingly poor service and not one single pair of lower priced glass. I booked the previous week and turned up for my appointment on time. Originally the receptionist was friendly but I said whilst I was waiting to be called in I'd look a the glasses. Not a single pair, not even one I could buy. Completely out of stock. This receptionist then went into the optician and was whispering but she had left the door open and I was standing behind her whining about me. So her and the optician was whinging abotmw and the optician was tutting and even said I was late which I obviously wasn't. Anyway I went in for my appointment and as they had not a single pair of glasses I left after my eye test and went to Harrolds West Drayton. So I got there to find they took didn't have a single pair of glasses. Infact they had just 3 pairs and one of them was for a child and the other two were grey and purple ones. I needed black, just a basic simple black pair of glasses is all I was after and neither of the Uxbridge or West Drayton branches couldn't supply a single pair to me. So I had no choice but to go to Specsavers in Yiewsley and WOW I'm glad I did. I did say I was never going to go back to Specsavers but as Harrolds couldn't supply me a pair of glasses I didn't really have much choice. Anyway I got 3 pairs of glasses in the end with one of the pairs being free!! Picked them all up today, 4 days after ordering them. Beautiful quality glasses and couldn't be happier with them. As for Harrolds when I phoned to get a code that Specsavers needed to process my order, the rudeness of Uxbridge receptionist was dire and I had to wait 35 minutes for them to give me the code which all they had to do is log into their system and get it. They were obviously cheesed off I didn't buy the option range most expensive glasses and went elsewhere. 35 minutes is unacceptable and their incompetence needs highlighting.
This company needs to close down and clearly they're not ordering any stock so looks like they're on their way out anyway. Absolutely appalling service from them talking bad about their customers when the customer is standing behind them to not being able to provide a single pair of glasses. I would never ever go back to this company either WD or Uxbridge. This will be the next company going into liquidation watch. They're obviously incapable of providing glasses to their customers unless it's the high end ranges. Shoddy incompetent rude nonsense service.

Exceptional and personalised service, latest technology, genuinely friendly, helpful and highly knowledgeable staff, best advice and prices, clean environment and a wide variety of frames . . . is what you will find at Harrolds Opticians, Uxbridge.
My family and I have been under their care for years, and wouldn't go anywhere else!
I recently ordered new prescription specs, but wanted a particular shape lens for which there was no available template.
Lou and Imran went above and beyond to achieve this, liaising with their lab, keeping me updated at every stage, and the end result was SPEC-tacular! :)

We have been going to Harrolds in Northwood Hills for over 20 years now and have ALWAYS found them to be very caring and attentive to all our eye/glasses issues. Indeed, only this morning I discovered that my glasses of 8 years had finally succumbed to wear and tear and one arm had totally sheared off. As a matter of some urgency I went straight to Harrolds where Tim was able to provide me with a new frame and had everything fitted by 1.30pm.

My family and I have been patients at Northwood Hills for over forty years. I took my Son for a check up in September where he was wrongly diagnosed with a disease that meant he was going to go blind. Having got a second and third opinion from the Western Eye Hospital and an opthalmologist, thankfully, this is not the case. The anxiety and upset caused has been immeasurable.
We will not be returning and have since found a new eye care specialist.
