Total waste of time and money. Keep phoning and they say they’ll send a link to upload the claim. They never send it. Warranty worthless.

Really easy to make my claim under the warranty and a chap called Darren from the company was in direct contact with me the following day and my claim was approved in full. Can't get better than that really.

After a few issues with my car and speaking to cian, the matter is now resolved and now the repair is booked in.

Give a ridiculously short 30 day period from initiation of claim to have the job completed. Factoring photographs, requested mechanic reports, ordering parts and fitting means this is unlikely to be achieved in this time frame. We had a steering rack leak and drive shaft fail. Garage confirmed unforseeable mechanical failure. Claim was flat out refused. Asked to cancel policy to be told this has to be done through the dealership, who in this case are equally as useless.

I bought a van with a warranty from handler Protect. I had a problem with the van and I rang handler Protect they told me to get it diagnosed and send in a report and quote for the work that needs to be carried out. I spoke Cian he has been so helpful in getting the problem sorted I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

Pointless to even have - made me go through the process of providing breakdown of parts/labour diagnosis, cause of failure (this one seems madness specficially as your average mechanic just fixes things not doing full part failure diagnosis for specific parts) just to then decline it for a reason they knew from the start! I told them the error code (coolant temprature sensor failure) they knew the age (2014) and millage (80K) already yet made me submit all the above just to state due to the age and millage its not covered as its not a "sudden and unexpected failure". The worst part is due to the age and millage they where only partially covering the cost anyway so probably would have only been around £250-300 at most (on these engines you have to replace the thermostat and waterpump as a unit usually). It was also found an engine mount had failed but because I didnt have a crystal ball to know this before the diagnosis it also will not be covered. Not sure how you can reaslisticly be expected to ever know a lot of these things have failed without getting a mechanic to diagnose (which is not allowed till you have reported the issue).
I have no idea what this would ever actually cover as they state they cover a lot on the Gold plan but in reality they will just chalk it all down to wear and tear unless the thing is brand new (which will have main dealer cover anyway).

I have only just raised a claim for my car and already finding difficulties with the service they offer. If I had realised the limitations of what they actually provide when I bought my car then I wouldn't have bought the car in the first place and would’ve gone with a different dealership offering a better warranty package. You don’t get anything other than constraints on what you can do to have your claim resolved. When I approached them for advice I received no help and they just became difficult.
The customer service is beyond terrible to the point I just wanted to hang up. Whilst attempting to ask questions they constantly interjected before I could fully articulate my point and then when i tried to explain that’s not what I’m asking they then accused me of cutting on them off and not letting them answer (unbelievable!). I have no confidence in this company and expect that I won’t gain anything from them when trying to move forward with my claim. I’m a very unhappy and disappointed customer. All I have gained from the experience so far is a headache and a deep sense of disappointment in how stupid ive been to get myself involved with this company in the first place.
