The BEST Heritage Railway in England!
Had a full day there what a cracking place lots to see and do and the trips on the trains and the tour of the workshop
Had a great afternoon out here, lots to see and do, a very interesting place to visit, lots of free carparking, a group of us caught the last train to Cheltenham race course and back with a diesel train pulling us, their were also running steam trains on the day, friendly staff and some great memorabilia, followed up by a great meal at the pheasant inn close by. Well worth a visit.
Excellent heritage railway experience. Very friendly, helpful and informative staff. Very good catering standard too. If you are looking for a scenic trip, this is the railway for you.
Excellent railway, really friendly staff and well preserved stations and locomotives. Had a very enjoyable day out at what has become my favourite heritage railway.
Appalling customer service. No concessions offered for senior citizens, no concessions for other railway volunteers, no discounts for defence card holders. To be avoided. Took a week to receive an unfriendly and badly written email reply
I won’t be travelling with them
Lovely day trip on the steam train. Very clean and tidy railway, great views and very friendly, well presented staff. On board catering serving before departure too, Avanti, are you listening. Car parking at Cheltenham very convenient too. Great website too
Great experience. MY family (2+2) were really impressed, great service, happy friendly staff. Well done.
Fabulous time over the summer. Lovely staff - made my boy's birthday treat an amazing day out for all the family - huge thanks to all the staff for the extra attention!
This is a great day out for children who love trains. There are several stations, so you can spend time getting off and on them and they have two or more trains running, even if it is not a special themed day
We have been on the Thomas day & a highlight was racing the troublesome trucks during the final journey.
We have also attended their Christmas event for a few years. Each year is the same format but it is well organised and the presents the children receive are good quality. Really recommend this railway if you're looking for a day out
