The martini henry rifle that I bid on and purchased was very accurately described by the seller in the auction ad. However; the photos in the auction ad were not the photos of the rifle that I received. A major reason that I bid on the rifle was my evaluation of the photos. The seller stated in the ad " what you see is what you will receive no more no less ". Thank you.

The ease of sites navigation. Quality and number of listings

As a seller, the site can be tedious to sell a new item. Some things need to be done that are not obvious when filling out the selling info. I have been using GB for decades and it was a lot easier to list something back then. Things take much longer now.

The transaction went smoothly. I haven't received my revolver yet but expect it this week. I have purchased several firearms through gunbroker and will continue to do so. No negatives! Can't beat em.

Logging in has gotten increasingly more difficult and tedious. I do not love that. But it is a great place to buy n sell firearms and accessories when other platforms are anti-2A and don't allow it.

Always good would like them to make a separate listing for silencers in the class 3 weapons- would make browsing easier. A great company!

The new system for FFL verification is terrible. The FFL I use (remote small town) does not want to be in a "system". The FFL has a small private group of customers. The seller from my last purchase had to go thru extra measures to invoice me as your checkout system would not let me complete the purchase. If this does not revert to the old way...I will not use GB again. Don't make it harder to complete a purchase.

Gunbroker has provided me several opportunities to purchase firearms in the past, and this last time was no exception; I entered an auction that concluded on July fourth and it saved me two hundred dollars off the usual advertised minimum price on a new HK CC9. The checkout was simple, and Gunbroker delivered it within two days.

Would like to see the ability to add a Seller to favorites and the button to change so that we know it has already been added or not.

huge inventory, decent search filters, and most sellers I've dealt with have been responsive and professional. My issue isn't with the marketplace concept, it's with the fee structure that gets passed on to buyers.
Firearms and accessories aren't cheap to begin with, and by the time you stack the winning bid with buyer premiums, FFL transfer fees, shipping, and payment processing charges, the final cost can end up noticeably higher than the listed price suggested. I understand GunBroker needs revenue to operate — and I'm not against paying a fair cut for a platform that connects buyers and sellers safely — but the added percentage on top of an already-expensive purchase category feels steep compared to other marketplaces.
My suggestions:

Make the total estimated cost (bid + fees + estimated FFL transfer) more visible before you commit to bid, not just at checkout
Consider a flat-fee or tiered-fee option instead of a straight percentage, especially for higher-ticket items where the percentage cut gets disproportionately large
More transparency up front would go a long way — most of my frustration wasn't the fee itself, it was not seeing the full cost clearly until late in the process

Overall: good selection, generally trustworthy sellers, but budget for fees on top of the sticker price — it adds up more than you'd expect.

I purchased an item, but then realized that it was listed incorrectly. His grips have two different types of wood. It was defective and that was not mentioned in the listing, but I was able to detect it on one of the pictures. I reached out to the seller and he admitted the item is defective, even though he didn’t mention it in the listing. I requested to cancel with him. Then you locked my account when he filed a non-paying buyer on me. I feel like this is not really fair. My actions were reasonable.

It’s been great so far. Will be doing a lot more selling.
