Easy transaction
I find Gumtree to be the fastest and easiest way to sell something quickly. You have to be careful if customers ask to make payments in unusual ways, better to always insist on cash and have them come to you. But it's the best for making a profit, without any exorbitant fees.

Gumtree for My garage sale
Gumtree was good as usual, my garage sale was being advertised in Marketplace but seemed not to be working and I couldnt see the advert, so quickly checked my Gumtree ad and it was there. Thank you

Sadly, time has passed Gumtree by
Gumtree's interface is great and easy to use.
However, it no longer attracts buyers.

Useless search engine
Been selling on Gumtree for years and the search engine is getting worse and worse. Eg have a Leitz microscope listed, says it’s on page 8 but when I search via google there is no sign of it. Just comes up with “sorry no items exist” just pathetic for selling.
