I purchased a suitcase from Gucci

I purchased a suitcase from Gucci, but it turned out to be very small. I requested to return the product, but they claimed that I had used it—even though I never did. They refused to accept the return and sent the suitcase back to me. It has been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received it. According to them, they are not responsible for any issues during shipping.

Additionally, I reached out to customer service multiple times, only to receive unhelpful and dismissive responses. No one seems willing to assist. Over the past two weeks, I had three separate calls with representatives, and each time, I was promised that a manager would get back to me—but that never happened.

I am absolutely shocked by such poor service and strongly advise against purchasing from a company that does not respect its customers.

Don't go to Gucci Rotterdam

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding a recent experience I had. I placed an order at Gucci Bijenkorf in Rotterdam. Aylin assisted me during the process. Although the product wasn’t available in stock, she assured me that it was in Amsterdam and would be reserved to arrive in Rotterdam within a week.

I promptly paid the full amount, eager to receive the product as soon as possible. However, after two weeks of waiting without any updates, I decided to reach out myself. After several messages, I finally received a response—2.5 weeks later—only to find out that the product was still unavailable and that my only option was a refund.

This level of service is far from what I expect from Gucci. To add to my frustration, the product remains available in Amsterdam. The employee I spoke with was quite unfriendly and didn’t really help me find a solution. Now, nearly three weeks have passed with no resolution, and I have heard nothing further.

I find this service to be very disappointing, especially for a brand like Gucci. I would prefer not to deal with the employee from Gucci Rotterdam again. Given that I’ve already paid the full amount, I expected to be treated with more respect.

I bought a Gucci cashmere beanie just…

I bought a Gucci cashmere beanie just over 3 months ago and I’ve worn this hat no more than three times and the hat has expanded beyond its original size whereas I can no longer wear it. I contacted Gucci CS , they requested images via email and according to them their “ expert artisans” confirmed that it’s due to external factors which is totally untrue and bias. I’ve been a die hard customer and I’ve never experienced this before and it’s disappointing and frustrating that nothing was done and I’m at a loss. They’ve lost a valuable customer.

Will never buy from Gucci online again.
Ordered a $50 lipstick… You have to be home to accept the package. Made sure someone was home… Then I opened up the package and Gucci had sent me the wrong product. I had to spend the next hour sending pictures of said product and they said they would not send me the correct product out until they had received what they sent incorrectly.
Would not get FedEx to come to my house to pick it up… I had to make the trip to FedEx for their mistake.
They have now had the return for 14 days and I have not received my refund as I don’t care anything about getting the correct lipstick and told them so. Their Website states it takes 7 to 10 business days for refunds and it’s been 14. Worst nightmare over a $50 lipstick would not recommend I want my money back.

Very low-quality leather

I purchased a handbag from Gucci, thinking it must be made of very high-quality leather. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I must say I’m thoroughly disappointed.
Firstly, the item's quality was not what I expected for a luxury brand. After only a few uses, I noticed leather discolored which is unacceptable at this price point.to make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service for assistance, they quoted me almost $1,000 for repairs. This is outrageous considering the price I paid for the item.
The customer service experience was equally frustrating, the representative was slow to respond, I expected much better support from a brand like Gucci.
Overall, I cannot recommend Gucci based on my experience. The quality and service do not align with the luxury status they promote.

Poor quality

On February 13, I purchased a belt from Gucci in Puerto Banús, Marbella, for €490. The in-store service was fine, but I wasn’t given any details about the belt’s specifications (materials, etc.).

I wore the belt only a few times—while shopping and for a dinner outing—but it quickly developed small scratches and soon looked worn and unattractive. I contacted Gucci’s customer service, and after several messages back and forth, they offered me the option to pay €90 for a replacement buckle myself.

Customer service informed me that the material was brass, but after consulting a metal expert, I found this to be incorrect. The buckle is a copper-like material coated with an alloy that is far too soft to resist scratches. This means the belt is not fit for purpose, as it was inevitably going to become damaged after just a few uses.

Gucci refused to offer any other solution beyond a self-paid replacement buckle—of the same poor quality.

Due to this disappointing experience and the subpar quality, this will be my last Gucci purchase.

Ordered a brand new watch on line…

Ordered a brand new watch on line through a well known jewelry store,received the watch and it didn't work returned in store to be told it was the battery,they would return to Gucci for it to have a new one fitted,this would take 6 weeks!!! Still waiting 11 weeks later.personallt think its poor a new watch is sent out without a brand new battery.I have now cancelled this order and brought an alternative brand from the store i originally purchaes from where i must add the service received was second to none Won't be buying Gucci again.If i could give Zero stars i would.

Terrible!!!

If I could leave no stars I would! I purchased 3 items, a necklace, bracelet and a ring costing £7,000. Could not open the clasps on the bracelet and necklace, even struggled with a second person trying to assist. Decided to return the 3 items as was bought as a set. Searched online for the returns policy, was advised by customer service on the phone that I could return items to any shop. Closest shop to me was advertised as open 9AM-6PM, so travelled to the store could not locate, asked in a nearby shop who advised it had been closed down for nearly 2 years! Even though advertised as open on their website, then looked for the nearest to where I was at this shop and attended to again to be told that this store had closed down 18 months ago! Onto my third shop, which was amazingly still open, waited for around 45 minutes to then be told they could not help me and I had to return to the original purchase shop (frustrating as I had been told different over the phone and also as per their policy online!) Finally after several hours travelling between stores, I returned the items to the original shop. I was told the finance department had to deal with the refund as this was a large amount! Left the items with the store, and had picture evidence emailed to me to confirm as such. Advised refund would be processed within 3 days. 2 weeks later I was chasing as still no monies returned, every time I called I was advised it would be chased but the finance department do not take incoming calls. After numerous calls and promises, my only option was to advise them that I would be taking the matter further with legal action. Cutting it short I finally received my refund 5 weeks after returning the items into store! I would never purchase anything from this brand ever again! I now see why Gucci share prices have dropped 40% over the last 12 months.

Absolutely Disappointing Experience with Gucci Online

I ordered a Gucci belt online, and while the first one arrived in perfect condition, the size was too big. After exchanging it for a smaller size, I was shocked by the poor quality of the replacement. The metal logo was covered in black spots, completely different from the clean, flawless one I originally received.

To make matters worse, the packaging was a disaster. The box was falling apart, barely held together by weak adhesive. The papers inside were crumpled, and the tote bag had what appeared to be pink nail polish or ink stains—completely unacceptable for a so-called luxury brand.
When I contacted Gucci, instead of making the process easier, they required me to report the belt to their warehouse before they would even allow me to return it. Once that was finally taken care of, I had to reorder the belt myself. This time, it arrived in good condition, but it was missing the card with the QR code—yet another example of their lack of attention to detail.
I added pictures, but they don’t even do justice to how bad the damage looked in person. The quality control at Gucci is clearly lacking, and for the price they charge, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. Horrible online shopping experience—buyers beware. (Pictures are on google reviews)

I have been waiting for my order since 2 weeks and they don’t respond to my emails and every time I call they blame on fedex. I mean its not my fault. Why can’t they use a better courier service. More than 2 weeks for Gucci order is unacceptable. Never buying from them again.

Needed two watch links for a watch I…

Needed two watch links for a watch I bought secondhand. I contacted the regional watch customer service line (NJ-based) three times.

First, didn’t have the serial # and employee was friendly

A few months later, I had the serial number but the same employee was rude, like I was inconveniencing them, and said someone would contact me in the next few days. They didn’t

Third time, I explained that I was never contacted and the same employee got an attitude and again said someone would contact me. They didn’t contact me.

I don’t plan to buy anymore Gucci fragrance, watches or clothing after this experience

Absolutely appalling branded company who are just after people’s money and have no aftercare at all!

This company is seriously a joke, they expect you to fight to get your money back from them, they have given me a headache. Since the beginning of January they promise me something and it doesn’t happen, I am very disappointed in Gucci and I will not be buying from Gucci ever again and still waiting for my money from them but they are fobbing me off, not being honest with me, and proving to me that they are escalating the bank transfer. It’s been going on for 4 weeks now, and I’m still owed a total of £970 for my cross body bag, and my scarf. I feel like I’ve lost that money and it’s gone, I’ve lost my confidence and faith again in the people I’ve spoken to and faced face to face, and they have deceived me, gave me false hope, and no evidence to prove I would get my money back. Their policies are strange and contradictory as well! I am going to be contacting my rip off Britain, the consumer ombudsman and action fraud about this, as Gucci have robbed me completely and I’ve been nothing but business to them. Their aftercare is rubbish and they simply don’t care. Absolutely shocking and I work hard for my money. Even head office based in Italy do not care and not taking this seriously. They owe me a big sum of money and they will not give me what they owe me. I’ve given them my bank sort code and account number twice and god knows what they have done with my confidential information. I would never advise anyone to go to the Gucci store in new Bond Street, as they have no real duty of care. They want you to spend a lot of money, nothing else. Be warned and stay away, go to somewhere like Selfridges and do your research on their policies for refunds.

Liars, Incompetents or Both?

I received a pair of earrings for Xmas. The back on one was bent up and angled, rather than straight. The other had a butterfly which was on so tightly that it was impossible to remove. I doubt even pliers would have worked. I called and was told I could exchange them for another pair. The other pair arrived and lo and behold they sent the exact same pair back to me. I could tell because each earring had the same problems as before. This was very insulting and also a huge waste of my time and my husband’s time. With this in mind my husband asked again for an exchange and also a discount as recompense for the waste of our time and the inconvenience of having a faulty product sent to us twice. After some unhelpful back and forths the employee said they had been advised that the earrings had been manufactured on purpose like this! I find it impossible to believe that Gucci, or anyone, would purposely make earrings that are impossible to wear! They said that because if this they couldn’t guarantee the butterfly wouldn’t be stuck on again. It’s actually laughable. I’m not sure if they were expecting us to believe them but clearly the staff are either lazy, liars or incompetent- or all three. How sad for the Gucci name.

Top team at Selfridges for Gucci leather goods

I had looked online on the Gucci website for a new purse, because after a number of years, my old LV one had fallen apart and I didn't wish to pay the universally high repair charges to get it mended. Those days of free repairs are sadly well behind us now!

Anyway, the Gucci range looked as if it would work for me, so yesterday I visited the leather goods section at Selfridges in London. All the staff were very pleasant there, and I was looked after by Joanna who was exemplary in her professionalism.

Joanna kindly took out about a dozen varities of purse for me and was incredibly helpful with her advice, showing a keen interest in how I would use the purse. As a result of this, I'm thrilled to bits with the purse that I ended up buying.

The very high volume of 1 star reviews, especially from the end of last year that Gucci have is a bit shocking, and from what I can glean it looks like the Gucci online and customer service area needs a real shake up. Therefore my advice would be to shop in store instead of ordering online wherever possible.

My granddaughter saved her money to by…

My granddaughter who is at collage saved her money to by an item from this scam of a company. Parcel was delivered to an address 30 miles from her home with a totally different colour front door person in pic signed using my granddaughters name but spelt it wrong and Gucci refusing to refund her money as they say parcel, which cost £200, has been delivered. Yes it has but not to her address. Is Gucci and DWP
In a scam together??? Gucci should be ashamed of yourself conning people out of money and this is going be taken further!
