Pricing Scheme That Throws Existing Customers Under a Bus
(I ordered Grünwelt but Stromio delivered the electricity)
I noticed that my electricity bills had gotten significantly higher in the last year. This is because they raised the rates — but only for new customers. In other words, they screw existing customers! The opposite of loyalty.
The letter they sent justified the price increase with vague ideas about the increasing price of renewables but this was a disingenuous attempt at green-washing. I know this because their homepage cites prices that are more than 20% cheaper per kilowatt hour than what they raised my prices too (as soon as I was locked into a contract that was difficult to get out of).
Other companies would never do this to their customers. Never ever buy Grünwelt Energie.
