Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the product quality to be poor, with non-stick coatings failing rapidly, pans chipping, and items staining or buckling after minimal use. People frequently reported that the products did not live up to their advertised claims, especially regarding durability and non-stick properties, despite following care instructions. Customers also expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, dismissive, and unresponsive. They often received generic replies, were blamed for product issues, or found it difficult to get a resolution for warranty claims or faulty items. Some people were also dissatisfied with the pricing, feeling that the high cost did not align with the poor quality received.

Greenpan frying pan not great.

Bought the smaller frying pan a year ago to cook scrambled eggs in which I have two to three times a week. Always hand washed with a sponge and honestly, I’m underwhelmed. Sticks like glue to the centre after the first few months and even frying eggs using oil, it sticks. It takes a lot of cleaning to get the egg off especially because you have to use a free scourer after soaking for hours. Might as well just get a carbon steel one and put up with regular seasoning.

Absolutely dreadful in every way

I spent a lot of money on a frying pan from this company and it failed very quickly indeed. Not only was it faulty but it was dangerous as the handle was not securely fixed to the pan and came away when being moved onto a table when red hot.

This put my wife at risk and I was amazed at something that cost so much was faulty within a matter of weeks.

I thought it was my duty to report it to them as it may be a manufacturing error and affect other pans as well. Despite five emails and getting a confirmation and a case number they just didn't bother replying.

Complacent, dangerous and an absolutely awful company in my opinion

Tucci pans

We bought a set of Tucci greenpans, the large pan with glass lid broke setting it on the hot pan and shattered into many pieces, never had that happen before. Atleast it is tempered glass. But now they don’t want to send me a new lid, claiming I sent a picture of the broken lid on a wrong pan.

I’ve had my set of pots & pans for 3 years. I’ve always hand washed with a regular sponge, never put in dishwasher. The nonstick coating is wearing off, I can now see the aluminum through the coating. Spend more and get a sett of heavy bottomed stainless steel set from a reputable company. $400, to only last 3 years is disappointing.

Greenpan states chipping is normal?

I have had these pans 10 months love the look the weight. I have noticed lately lots of chipping on the rims and the smaller pan scratching even though they are handled with care. I wrote the company about my concerns.
I was informed any chipping is a reflection of the hardiness of the ceramic product. Chipping is a normal occurrence.
Such a disappointment no one buys this product to look poorly in less than a year.
Such a disappointment!

Decievers! no trust in thier marketing

I was about to order from greenpan.com.au, which asked me to join and get a 15% discount—no conditions. I joined, but they rejected the discount! No reason was given. I called, and they said the item was already on sale; almost all their products were on sale. They tricked me into joining and wasted my time.
They used deception to get me to join; their marketing uses deception, I found myself here and saw their product is garbage too.

Horrible experience for such an expensive pan set. All of them are horrendous to clean, even when only cooking vegetables.

Spend your money elsewhere, you will definitely get a better pan set for the money. Chucked the whole set in the bin today.

I bought the Stanley Tucci deep fry pan and can't wait to throw it away! I have an induction range and put a magnet to the bottom and not all of it is magnetic. No wonder it so slow to heat up and stay heated. I have some Hexclad that clearly out performs the Stanley Tucci pan.

Poor quality

Pan set is very expensive. Would not expect my pan set to have chips on the cooking surface. Customer Support says that's normal wear. That's not what I paid for. Do not purchase GREEN PAN!

AWFUL COATINGS

From a company that is meant to be anti PFE and whatever other toxins are in the coatings of pans over the decades, their EXPENSIVE CERAMIC coatings are atrocious! £40 dimpled oval pan, I never gave it anymore than a gentle wiping with paper towel after each use and the coating is all coming off into the food!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS

Not what I had hoped for

I bought two pans from NZ Farmers.
The wok and a 26inch fry pan.
About $80 each
They were black in colour. I don't remember if they had fancy names for each of them or not. :-/
I bought them in December 2023. By March 2024 they were done.

I gave extra special care when cleaning these items. Always allowing to cool before cleaning. Never used any metals in the pan or for cleaning.
Always used plastic or wood during cooking.
Always had separator between pans in cupboard.
But no matter what I did I couldn't save the alleged non-stick surface.
When we bought these items they ONLY had a cardboard wrapping that came with the instructions printed on the inside. There was nothing else provided.
It claims they are dish washer safe, can use scrubbing items (Everyday dish washing brush) as long as its not metal.

What the packaging did NOT say (I got this info from their customer support team)

-Pans must only be used in LOW to MEDIUM heat. NOT HOT. (How do you cook stir-fry on medium heat!? Its a wok! Stir-fry must be done in a hot pan.)
-Do not use Olive oil or Butter in pans. Use Vegetable oil, canola oil, Bran oil. So, do not use healthy oils.
-You must use a sponge to clean that has Melamine in it or a cloth. (Contradicting the packaging)
-If food is sticking. Wait for pan to cool. Add hot water and turn on the element to heat from the bottom and food will release. (Of which it does. But a lot more cleaning time and electric cost)

When I contacted the customer support I explained that there were no instructions with the items reflecting what they had told me on the phone and by email. Also, that staff at the store were also surprised by the conditions of use as recommended by the customer support. As there was no label reflecting this on the items at the time.
Now, however, all of their items have a sticker underneath the cardboard wrap stating the care and use conditions that their customer support had verbally informed me of.

My supermarket frying pan is two years old and still going strong. It cost a mere $25 :-/ It was $55 cheaper. Damn.

Absolutely horrendous!! £300 going in the bin.

Absolutely horrendous!!! DO NOT waste your money unless you like a burnt mess for your dinner every night and enjoy washing up (when I say washing up, I mean soaking for 24 hours, then scrubbing, then washing).
Spent £300 on a pan set that I can't now use, no matter which of the 'tips' they tell you to use (different oil, cooking on a low heat, cleaning properly etc.) everything ends up in a sticky burnt layer on the bottom of the pan.

Of course I tried to reach out to Customer Services, and they obviously told me it was how I was using the pan/cooking. Strange how I've been able to use pans just fine for the 20+ years of my adult life until I bought these ones.

I wish I could attach photos to this review to show the true extent.

Definitely DO NOT buy.
