I have had very good service from Dougie at Grange Clocks; he not only went the extra mile, but the extra 100 miles (literally) by following up with a home visit quite a way from Edinburgh at no extra charge, when the problem was of my own making. He is pleasant to deal with and clearly knows his profession very well.
I think the man in all honesty has a mental health disorder and should receive a level of sympathy. The rudest reply I have ever had for a simple repair enquiry after his last response was only 3 words.
'I know you are likely to be exceptionally busy but received no word back on whether now would be a good time to send you the clock.'
His reply was 'SEND the clock at the end of January' Nothing else after he ignored a previous email.
I responded back with 'There are other companies you know, very disrespectful. Will not be using your company and will inform others. Thank you.'
He responded with a bizarre diatribe as I have no issues if he was to take 6 months on the clocks so a lot of this email was just bizarre.
''I sent you this in December : I am very busy : I need to clear my repairs so you are not waiting to get your clock Back.
I do not do Quick Fit Clock Repairs . ….!!
Sorry you feel this way .. Try someone else .. ..This is how you treat Me when I Do not have your clock at my shop yet ….How SAD..
