First off, I've had their chill cooler and another product for a while and they have worked good for the last 4 years. The very negative things I have to say about this company is their customers service is no existent. I'm in need of a replacement part and I've been calling and emailing for 4 days and nobody has gotten back to me. So, because of this, nonexistent customer service that will supposively get back to you in 24 hours.... I'd avoid them.
Customer service is so important and they've got none.

We had a really windy storm last week, and the power was out for a full day. Thanks to the GoSun Oven and battery I still had a way to cook hot meals and even charge my phone. It felt good knowing I was prepared!

Seems to be I toss everything I have accumulated over the years in the recycle bin. Refuse to sell if there is no customer support. Better to cut my losses than experience the failures hundreds across the multi media this site and word of mouth. Let Gosun melt.
Let’s see how the whole crowdfunding for the car charger boat camper work out. Looking for investors?😂. Could have been so so good. Another business of grab the money and run greed at its finest

Great customer service and great products. Please get a professional electrician to do the hybrid models my cord melted. It still works but ppl need to get aware of that issue. I have bought many models cause I love how food tastes from em. The flaw may sound big but this at its heart is a solar model not electric solution.

No customer service. Our Gosun power 266 just died all of a sudden. For the price, we expect the ability to contact someone. We have purchased a plethora of Gosun products and while this is the only issue we have had, we’ll purchase no more. We’ve been Gosun advocates for years… We only get a flashing light when trying to charge the device with the usb-c charge port, everything else is dead.

Short reply here from GoSun but nothing substantial even a follow-up. I strongly recommend that prospective buyers look elsewhere to meet your solar power requirements. For a catastrophic failure such as this, I would not put it out of the realm of possibility that Chinese malware may very well be involved! We are still waiting to hear back from GoSun albeit to no avail it seems…

I've been up and down on opinions with this company. Almost everything I've purchased has had an issue. Which makes me mildly grumpy. Yet Everytime, every single time, when I get a hold of support staff and get past the not smart enough to have correctly dealt with any of my concerns AI customer Bot and converse with a real human the issue is readily corrected.
So overall review is excellent company and fantastic human to human customer service. Amazing products... Hit or miss product quality control.

I live off grid with a mission to live as sustainably and low impact as I can. GoSun solar cookers allow me to bake bread, roast veggies, slow cook soups & stews etc all with sunshine. And even yesterday's sunshine using the Fusion cooker with its 12V heating pad - super efficient at only about 100W. I have been a longterm & heavy user of GoSun cookers - they're well designed for longevity & repairability.

This company has NO customer service and their product is garbage. Did not work right straight out of box. I have tried to contact many times in many ways and they do not exist.

3/25 Update- GoSun has reached out and I have replied. Thank you. Will update.

4/1 - I replied on 3/26 to the email GoSun sent and again ... nothing, no replies. My original review still stands as this company is not legitimate. The method here is to post on negative reviews to make it look like the company has support, the reality is they do not and it is all a facade.

These days it seems like a lot of people may not care about the environment. I do, and I want to set an example for my kids. So I ordered one of the gosun cooler and their biggest solar oven. Although I find that the solar oven takes a bit longer to cook some items, I feel that it is important that my kids know there are ways to cook outside without creating smoke and pollution.

It was all my fault. I entered the wrong address number on my order. So unfortunately UPS sent my order back. After I contacted GoSun , they re sent my order out to the right address at no extra charge.

The Chilito is awesome. As a contractor, I can tell you I love having the chillito in my truckAfter a few hours of working in the heat outside, its a real treat toHave an ice cold coke and cold sandwich. Now one of my buddies at the beginning of our shift, gives me his soda and sandwich to keep cool too. The Gosun Sun shieldNot only keeps my cooler cold without melty ice, it also keeps my cabinSpace cooler.

Takes the company ages to reply.
The item they sent was broken out the box and it looked like someone's cheap prototype that was made in a basement and then sold after being tested a few times. After all this they want you to pay to ship it to them as if you payed for a broken item. I was about to drop over 4k, they looked like they had good items. But I'm glad I didn't and just bought one item.

I've called them 3 times during their business hours and left 3 messages. They have never called me back. I gave a deposit on an item which they have claimed is refundable, but I can't talk to anyone. At this point tell everyone AVOID GOSUN!

UPDATE - 03/19/2025 - The company never reached out to me, so I filed a complaint with the BBB of Cincinnati. Finally, they responded, and I got my money back. This isn't the first time they have done this. You can see the complaints on the BBB website.

This company has by far the worse customer service of any company I have dealt with in reference to customer service. It seems to be literally non-existent. They DONT return calls and they DONT return email requests for assistance. Look at this site for instance…. All they do is copy and paste,

“We’re really sorry to hear about the experience you’ve had! We’d be more than happy to assist you in getting a replacement for your Chill unit. Please contact our support team at supportgosun for further assistance. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to resolving this for you.”

You know what the issue/ problem is because we are writing what the issue is that we are experiencing. Don’t tell me to contact your supportgosun that you REFUSE TO RESPOND TO.

I purchased 2 x Solar Oven Kits and a Kettle. They shipped me the kettle and 1 x Solar Oven Kit. I was missing the 2nd kit. I wrote emails and left several messages on their voicemail and received NO response in weeks. Today is the final straw with these people. I will NEVER purchase anything from their website and will report this charge to my credit card company. Also report them to the BBB. Watch and see people how this company responds with the AI/ bot copy and paste response. Do your research on this company before you plan to purchase any of their items.

The go sun cooking tray is smaller than I anticipated — more a child-size portion than 1 adult. I’m pleased with how well it works. I have years of solar cooking experience.

I borrowed the solar panel 30 from the library to use for camping. It's not even been a week and it stopped working. It looks like the wiring between the panels might have been damaged because it is very thin.

I posted a negative review on their website product page and it also didn't show up. They may be hiding negative reviews on their website as well, since all the reviews for this product are 5 stars on their site right now except for one 4 star.

I was notified by email from Trustpilot that GoSun flagged my review as defamation. I noticed GoSum now published my negative review online on their product page as well, so it could appear that I am lying about them not publishing negative reviews if I didn't provide an update on my end.

On the plus side, I did get the solar panel to work if you slowly and carefully adjust it so that it will work at only certain angles for a certain period of time. But that also means having to keep an eye on it often to make sure it's still working.

I was considering buying the item after borrowing it from the library, but that doesn't seem like a great idea based on past experiences with the product and the company thus far.

The day I got my GOSUN Go I was eager to try it out.
Unfortunately it fell off my kitchen counter and the vacuum glass tube was broken. When I contacted the company to ask how to remove the tube, they not only send an instruction video link but also promptly credited me with a free replacement. Super helpful and efficient. As for the actual product itself, I have to wait for the arrival of the tube itself to see how well it works.

These guys are scammers. They sent me some tickets, claiming that winning price is cash. When contacted them, they wanted my details. Once given, they disappear and never responded. Just beware. I guess if it sounds too good then it is too good to be true. Sadly now they have some of my personal details. But luckily I did use the hide email function. Anyways. Good luck dealing with them

We purchased a GoSun cooler last summer as an upgrade from another cheaper brand. On the second trip it stopped working. It won’t power on at all. We reached out to the company who informed us that the cooler was out of warranty (by 60 days, at most). They offered us 25% off a new cooler. I can’t imagine buying another one when the product doesn’t last and they don’t stand behind it. I am also seeing other reviews with the same issue. I won’t be a return customer.

Purchased a cooler (Chill) in 2020 for $699. It stopped working over the summer (not sure why, it just stopped powering on). I called to get it fixed and they refused to fix saying they no longer have a technician who can repair them. They offered me a 20% discount to buy another one. This is forced obsolescence (they make the product obsolete by refusing to repair and upgrade), and is absolutely the opposite of being an eco-friendly and environmentally sustainable company.

Although I have purchased multiple ovens and accessories (I own 12 products with an out of pocket expense of around $1600), I feel that this company has turned its back on its customers and on its mission to be environmentally sustainable. At this point, GoSun is only interested in screwing people for as much money as possible... Regardless of the damage they do to the environment and their customers.
