Theft by Gopuff

I just placed an order with them and I was checking with them to see where it was at and they tell me that it has already been delivered and that I opted to bypass some PIN code and so they will not refund my money back. Now this is the first time however they definitely didn’t deliver my order because I have been waiting on them for the last 45 minutes and nothing. Support is No help whatsoever but them offering me $8.00 credit and not give me my money back is Ludicrous especially when they can’t tell me where or when they delivered my $38.91 package. This is theft in my book!!!!

Run. Don’t Walk. This Company Is a Mess!

Working here was honestly one of the worst experiences of my career. Management micromanages everything and creates more stress than support. Internal issues are ignored instead of being fixed, and communication is all over the place.

What makes it worse is the quiet monthly redundancies — people just vanish with no explanation.

If you value your career, your mental health, or basic respect in the workplace, do not join this company. It’s a huge, flashing red flag!

Rude Delivery Driver

Order #2669644966 in London, England
The delivery person was rude and a bit intimidating. I understand he was frustrated because my door number wasn't included in my address on the Gopuff site. I apologized, and when I did he just gave me a mean scary look. When I looked out my window minutes later, he was still there in the driveway, looking toward my window with the same look. They need to learn how to have better manners, be more professional and give better customer service. The chat person said they would speak to the delivery driver, but I'm not sure I believe them.

SCAM AND FRAUDULENT…. They signed me up for automatic monthly billing and never notified me. When I finally found out and asked them to refund, they told me no. Stay away from this scam of a company. Hope they go under soon.

Do not bother trying to work for them

Do not bother trying to work for them. Either they like scamming people into working and then after you complete deliveries they deactivate you and keep your money you just made. The excuse was your background didn’t clear. Very shady business practices. They send multiple text messages regarding your application and your status is ready to start workings they even say they have these bonus for starting. Well I started and immediately after my first delivery I’m deactivated and no explanation. No talk about the money I earned. Just a fk you and bend over. And sad part I gave up thanksgiving to go deliver and told nada. Just a “we will let you know”

Avoid this company.
I ordered wines for home delivery, and the website didn’t offer the option to leave the package at my door. Because of that, I added a note asking the driver to leave it there. I wasn’t available at the delivery time and didn’t see their messages right away.
Instead of leaving the order as requested, they canceled it without issuing any refund. To make matters worse, they charged me three separate times, for a total amount higher than the original order. Since I paid through PayPal, they even set up automatic payments without my authorization, which resulted in a $46.49 charge with surcharges.
If leaving items at the door isn’t allowed, they should clearly say so or notify customers. There’s no information anywhere stating that they don’t accept door-drop deliveries.
Overall, the experience feels misleading and unfair. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Go puff have the worst customer service. They made a transaction for $77.64 on my card and did want to refund it back because they rules of not refund money bank or credit my money. I strongly suggest not to put your bank card or foodstamp card they going steal your money with no refund or credit.

The gopuff driver pulls up and I go to…

The gopuff driver pulls up and I go to meet her and she asks to see my identification and I use my ID for everything via my cell phone and ive never had a problem with it before from a delivery driver. Nevertheless she already had a very snotty attitude and tell me my phone can't read your id from the phone, cause another lady just tried it. So I ask my co worker did he have his ID on him and didn't. I tell the lady I have to run up and get mine. I tell her I'll be right back. All of 3 minutes I was back but she had drove away and canceled my order. I was so heated I could have cooked bacon.
I attempt to reach out to customer service and they first said would I like to reorder. Thinking I could use the same money as credit from them, I find out I have to shell out another 38 dollars or so. I refused because it was already late and my feelings were shot down but not as much as they were when I was told I wasn't getting my money back. Now mind you the app automatically puts the tip if you're not paying attention so this woman ended up with a 9 dollar and 50 cent tip for doing nothing but thinking she got down on me and I was left with nothing, not even im sorry I can't wait till you get your id but to be told I couldn't get my money that I worked hard for and paid for something i never received is by far the worst scam I could have ever had done to me. Nothing is what I got and nothing was done about it. I wish I could have filmed that because of her bad attitude. I have tried to get my money back thru the banks but I haven't gotten any help yet with that particular issue and I am still pissed.

I would leave less stars if possible. Sonu K, and every account specialist I’ve spoken to so far today is absolutely incompetent.

GoPuff sent me a postcard attached to my first order giving me a coupon code to $7 off my next 3 orders at Starbucks.

This was completely false advertisement as the code did not work, and later was insulted by Sonu K claiming my account wasn’t eligible.

Also fun fact: during the process of attempting to navigate this app error with the first round of support, they sent a message claiming to cancel my paid for “fam” / premium subscription. I didn’t even ask for that! I asked to use my coupon.

Get ready to be disappointed. Do not bother using GoPuff.

As you can imagine, I brought my business straight to DoorDash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS INCOMPETENT APP.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I ordered a gift card and never received it. Their customer service refuses to provide a phone number for contact, forcing you to wait 3–5 days for a refund. Unlike competitors like DoorDash or Uber Eats, they don’t accommodate customers when they mess up your order—they make it unnecessarily difficult. I’ve never seen such poor communication and lack of accountability. Honestly, this level of incompetence and disregard for customers will be the downfall of this company. Avoid unless you want to waste your time and money.

GO PUFF apologized saying they could credit the account 5.71 which is ridiculous because they were 2 for $12. If your helping low income residents out it should have been re delivered or credited the full amount. Instead the chat representative whose name is VALENTINA threw it in his face saying Rush used the snap code. He replied yes. Several minutes later waiting for VALENTINA’S response, she asked if there was anything other than the issue at hand that she could help him with. THEY ARE RUDE AND SHOULD TREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER!
