We were served by Josh, he was polite and informative, he was a great help when I couldn’t decide on which style of lightweight walking trousers to go for.

Following his advice I went with a pair I wouldn’t normally and they fit and look great.

Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable on the items in the store. He helped me select a suitable pair of walking boots and was an all round great guy. Didn't fuss but told us all the facts and I've seen him before in store and he's always been helpful.

James is an excellent staff member who inspires trust through his mature appearance and many years of experience at the store. He set up and packed away a tent for me, giving a detailed explanation of the differences between tents and their water proofing. His easy going attitude also made me feel at ease and comfortable enough to enquire about multi-tool knives as well, which he was able to share his personal experience on. With his lovely people skills and can-do attitude, his talents would be wasted if he wasn't put in store front. Thank you James!

Just been instore today and was assisted by Josh. From the moment i asked for help to the moment I left he was fantastic. No issue was too big. I was needing assistance looking for a knife with a very protective sheath. He gave me reccomendations, he took bits apart for me to see and was just incredibly helpful.

All staff i spoke to today were lovely and the store seems to have a great team.

I actually went into the store at the metro centre on 19/3 but with all the best intentions of leaving a review life distracted me but it finally popped back into my head to write a review for Molly. (I think it was Molly forgive me if not it’s been weeks😅). I went into the store thinking I may need to size up on my boot, but it didn’t quite feel right and without even need to prompt Molly she had offer an alternative size. I was also considering another shoe which Molly was so helpful and offered to bring my size out in both so I could compare the boot in both sizes and the shoe in my size (didn’t have stock of the size up but no drama). After a lot of pottering about the store, I picked the shoe in my size but Molly’s patience with me whilst I was contemplating which to get was very much noticed. She wrote a lovely thank you message for purchasing the shoes and that makes all the difference sometimes. Thank you 😊

This was a superb experience.
The staff are immediately friendly and welcoming, and the shop is laid out in a really easy way to follow.
I was assisted by Lewi and Tom, and we quickly found the perfect boots for me.
Everything about this transaction was easy and so good!
I will definitely be back.

Izzy was really helpful and so polite and friendly when we popped in for the last minute items for my daughter’s Duke of Edinburgh expedition. When we had a query about an item, she went to get James for more advice who was a fantastic help, helping us with an item that was listed inaccurately on one of the many forms we had (but was correct on the others so we did have the right thing after all so thanks James for explaining!)We were so grateful to James for the handy D of E tips too! They were both a great help and a credit to the store, my daughter wanted to pass on her thanks too and said they were both so lovely! We will be back for any other camping items in future too.
