great staff, helped me find the perfect pair of walking boots

I recently visited the store over two consecutive weekends searching for a high-quality waterproof and breathable raincoat and trousers. Unsure of which options would best meet my needs, I was fortunate to be assisted by Samantha on both occasions.
Samantha’s outstanding product knowledge made all the difference. When I mentioned needing waterproof and breathable trousers suitable for a professional work environment, she immediately recommended a smart-wear option that fit the requirement perfectly. Her ability to listen, understand customer needs, and offer tailored recommendations resulted in an exceptional shopping experience. Samantha is a true asset to the company.

Went in to get a new pair of hiking trousers, and Samantha was fantastic. She recommended a pair to try on, and they were perfect.
I have tried at least 8 other pairs (that I found myself) but none of them were as well fitting or as comfortable as the pair Samantha suggested.
She also helped me find perfect backpack for my needs.
Super friendly and helpful service. 5 stars all round.

everyone was so lovely and helpful. a worker called cleo was especially useful in helping me find all of my camping gear for my trip, she's a star. had a lovely experience in your store

It was close to closing time and she was very patient,I did not feel rushed.
The following day I needed to return and Nathan offered the same helpful and friendly service.
Overall the staff were very helpful,making my shopping experience very pleasant.

Really well laid out store with lots more variety in casual clothing than I’ve seen in other Go Outdoors stores.
Served by Toni who was very helpful and knowledgeable on the product ranges. Didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Genuinely lovely shopping experience.

Not a click and collect process

TBH I will never do a click-collect again! You’d think the process would enable you to order,walk-in and collect .

From the staff who actively hide from customers and walk in the opposite direction from people. If you actually corner a staff member they actually know nothing about the products or the procedures.

Taken five days for my order to arrive and three visits. On the 23 min endurance style collection the box looked like wild bears had been at it! When the product was falling out and not secured.

I'm normally very happy with GO Outdoors, but I recently bought a brand new tent from them, and when I got home I found it was full of grass, so clearly not new. I contacted their customer service but they wouldn't do anything other than tell me to carry it back to the store to discuss it there

Great service. ordered jacket to be picked up in store and save me delivery fee. Arrived day after and picking up was easy and straight forward. Thanks

Afsah was lovely, helped me find my membership and apply it to my purchase as well as a student discount. The other associates, both lovely ladies helped me with my shop

I am really sorry to give this review, but the particular member of staff that helped me was absolutely useless. I had researched my needs exactly for a waterproof coat. She knew nothing about waterproof HH values etc. she kept talking about gortex I think that was all she knew. In the end I found my own coat by checking HH values. She literally talked rubbish the whole time. She also had no idea how to put my address on the computer. Maybe I was unlucky but by the end I was really annoyed . The coat is fine. Please train your staff before letting them loose on the public

this is a lovely tidy well equipped store even going into the shop a member of staff says hello . There always someone to ask if your looking for something. I was served by lovely AFSAH I asked if there was a cheaper alternative your own brand was saving me an extra £4 .plus members price.she was very polite and happy

We are regular shoppers at GO Outdoors stores, but we feel Callum and Aimee have truly put the Arndale Centre store on the map for us.

They were incredibly informative on products, truly listened to what we were looking for, and helped us find exactly what we needed. They are both very professional, polite, and an absolute credit not just to the store, but to the entire company.

It was the little things that made such a difference, like making sure our bought items were folded and put into the bag with care, asking us about our trip to Scotland, and showing a genuine interest in us.

Because the service felt so personal and un rushed, we felt incredibly welcomed into the store. In fact, we probably bought more than we should have due to the exceptional customer service and experience! Thank you so much, Callum and Aimee. 😀

I was looking for a new rucksack, I'd been advised to try GoOutdoors. The selection was well laid out but I was concerned with capacity and versatility of materials
I enquired to a couple of staff for help
Enter Nathan and Emmanuel;
They explained the pros and cons clearly; encouraged me to inspect the available choices
All the while respecting my comments
It felt a triumph when selecting my rucksack and both Nathan and Emmanuel were essential to that decision and I feel they should be recognised

I received great customer service today at the Arndale store. A team member gave me access to the chabging rooms without any delay and Aimee served me on tills, she was engaging and interested in a friendly chat. I felt seen and supported. I find shopping challenginf because I have ADHD. But the staff team made my shopping trip easy and enjoyable.
