GO Outdoors - Hull Reviews 

I placed 2 click and collect orders. 1 was cancelled the next day apparently because the address was wrong! How can Go Outdoors own shop address be wrong? I was told to do the order again and the next day the same thing happened again and the order was cancelled! I was told that it was out of stock and then when queried that I could still place an order was tild that it was actually in stock and that it was a technical problem and someone would get back to me by Friday 7/8. I am still waiting! Put in a complaint but no response to that either. When collecting the other order I was told that I could travel to York/Scunthorpe from Hull to see if they had them! Absolutely ridiculous.

Matthew was lovely and helped my boyfriend buy all the stuff I wanted, he went through it all professionally and they had a good laugh, he enjoyed my purchases so much and his assistance he even became a member

Very helpful staff very knowledgeable always happy to help and a good price with your discount card.

Adam was super friendly and had lots of knowledge as well as good tips on how to get the shoe I wanted.
Had some good chats about scout camps and whether the shoes I chose would be suitable for some of the dangerous activities we do!

Helpfully kind sraff

I visited the Hull store today to pick up an air tent, with a 3yo in the trolley seat and a 1yo in a baby carrier. I would definitely have struggled lifting a 6 man air tent into my car. But Lewis kindly offered to take it to my car and lift it into the boot. Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable on different brands and pros and cons of different tents.

Matthew at the checkout was a top bloke and very friendly. He was even asking about my trip and even gave some tips to help.

The assistant, who I believe was called Ryan, was Autistic and got quite stressed as the machine was playing up. He was also very courteous and also asked if we had any other cards to discount the goods. We had a Blue Light card so he took off a discount. I was very pleasantly surprised at how he handled things and how polite he was.

Was looking for some help and advice Lewis was working restocking an area I asked for some help and he came across and helped me find what I was looking for he also gave me some advice on portable chiller/fridge he was very knowledgeable helpful and polite and gave us the advice we required so we could purchase a 25L portable fridge + toilet and flushing agent.

Called in for a waterproof jacket, most were security linked together but Sam didn’t mind unlocking them for us whilst we tried different designs, really friendly and polite.

Eve was brilliant. She helped us choose some walking boots.
The staff at the tills were also very helpful with our price match query.
Very pleasant experience.
