Fantastic shop with a massive variety of outdoor gear! What truly made my visit 5 stars was the exceptional customer service from Sarah. She was incredibly lovely, patient, and knowledgeable, giving me tailored advice to find exactly what I was after. The shop in Coventry is well-organised, spacious, and competitively priced. Highly recommend it – massive thanks to Sarah!

staff very helpful, especially Brad who gave good advice on an expensive coat. Sarah was very supportive too. Well worth the a visit with excellent stock levels.

The staff were very friendly at the till, Sarah served us and helped us sign up for a membership card.

A good experience, good range of products and friendly helpful staff

It was overall terrible. Me and my family went for preparation towards a trip. My sister has a student discount so on everything we get 20 % off and it was all okay until we paid. However , the options of thick waterproof coat were very limited. When we paid , the cashier said it was 20% off but it wasn’t. In fact , she somehow accidentally scanned everything twice. So we paid $100 more than we should have. In the end , we went to mountain warehouse. There were loads of options and was all pretty cheap. Unlike Go outdoors. The staff at Go outdoors were not friendly at all and they were arrogant. When we asked to return everything they were very rude. Overall , do not bother coming here, spend your time elsewhere, somewhere worth spending your time on.

Phoenix was really helpful. Gave me new tricks to tying g my laces and advised on a different size, which feels much better.

Jack was really helpful in finding the right stuff and giving some good recommendations. Also really friendly!

Employees very helpful and nice- I spoke to Laura who helped me pick out some climbing shoes that fitted me personally. I also spoke to Pheonix who was very knowledgeable in climbing shoes and how to tie them and helped me pick a good pair too😁

I have oddly shaped feet. Phoenix helped me get a great fit on a waterproof pair of hiking shoes.

Jack was very helpful with finding all the clothes needed for my daughter’s 8 hours skiing lessons.

She told me about her requirements at the last moment because she had been focused on her university work and didn’t see the text messages.

Mum to the rescue again, I had to buy everything whilst she was getting her hair done so she could not be with me. All the items were needed for the next day at 9.00.

This is where Jack was really helpful and knowledgeable he went round the store with me recommending clothing, different prices and the features of the clothes. He went to the back of the store several times to find items that were not out.

A Big Thank you to Two wonderful Members of Staff at Go Outdoors in Coventry.

My daughter and I visited Go Outdoors on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September 2026 to buy our first camping tent and equipment and we would like to say a huge thank you to two members of staff, Skye and Hannah, who were absolutely fantastic.

I used Klarna in store for the first time and, to be honest, I was quite worried because I had never used it before and wasn’t sure how it all worked. Both ladies were incredible patient, understanding and supportive. They took the time to reassure me, explained things in a way that made me feel more comfortable, and used such kind and encouraging words throughout the process.

What really stood out to me was that neither of them made me feel rushed or embarrassed for asking questions. They were happy to help, made me feel at ease and showed genuine care and understanding.

I honestly believe that both ladies have the kind of customer service skills that every business should value. Their patience, kindness and professionalism made a real difference to my experience. We need more people like them out there!

Thank you so much for your time, patience am support, and specially for not rushing me when I needed a little extra reassurance. You turned what could have been a stressful experience into a really positive one.

I hope this feedback reaches them and that their excellent customer service is recognised, because they truly deserve it.

Went to buy a new pair of walking boots as mine were 2 years old and had passed their best. Would like to thank Jack who was very patient and gave good advice as I tried on several different pairs until I found the perfect fit and a bonus they were 50% off. Great service a credit to your company

Phoenix was 10/10, she spent a lot of time with me getting my shoes, insoles correct and even showed me tricks of the trade in tying them correctly which I never even considered. Lovely girl and a credit to the company
