I have the GO membership which is essential for purchases otherwise it is all too expensive. At the time of purchase it was also on offer resultng in a good buy. Timing is everything.

Jed was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with advice for buying a mountain bike. Would definitely recommend buying from Go Outdoors. I visited Go Outdoors today to purchase a bike. My wife recommended Go Outdoors to me over other stores as they have helped her with her bike last month. Jed was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me make the right choice of bike and explained the membership to me.

Jed was very helpful when I asked his advice about securing my new walking poles to my new rucksack, both recently purchased from Go Outdoors, Canterbury. He was also very knowledgeable about a long distance walk that I am thinking of doing.

Adam was very helpful with providing advice about tents and getting different shoe sizes!

After purchasing an item online and it being delivered faulty we felt extremely let down by the return process. We reached out to your Canterbury store to find a huge contrast to the level of customer service. The assistant manager could not have been more helpful and empathetic to the experience we had so far had. He reserved the item for me and I was able to pop along as I was working in the area and collect the following day. A world class customer service experience from the store, not so good from the online sales team. Thank you.

We recently bought two e-bikes from Go Outdoors Canterbury.
The bike and cycling expert at the store Jed, shared his extensive knowledge to help us choose the bikes to meet our needs and budget. When we collected the bikes several days later, Jed made sure they were charged and adjusted to our needs before we left. We have now completed 10K and 20k bike rides and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience having the electric assist to ascend steep hills. The battery is still over half full. The crab and winkle to Whitstable is our next challenge. Thanks again Jed; we’ll see you in a few months for the bike service.

Visited Go Outdoors in Canterbury to get my daughter's first pair of climbing shoes and some other equipment. I phoned to check stock levels and spoke with the very helpful Lauren who checked general stock status and told me to find her when I visited.

After an hour's drive, we found Lauren who passed us over to Joe in the footwear section.

Joe was amazing and very knowledgeable about climbing shoes. He gave my daughter lots of different options, spoke with her about how the shoe should feel and was overall very patient. We found the perfect shoes (after trying on around 10 pairs!) and moved onto helmets next. With Joe's help, my daughter tried several different helmet options and found the best fit.

We also left with a chalk bag, a chalk ball and a new bag to carry it all. And, of course, some Kendel mint cake!
