I always thought google would be focus…

I always thought google would be focus on good quality service, what an embarrassment. My daughter cant buy a game and all google play can say is "wait 48 hours and try again". After hearing this 4 times, the same problem persists and they offer no support. Their customer service officer needs to be fired immediately.

Abysmal Customer Service

Google Play are making the move to YouTube Music extremely difficult for customers - and they really don't care! Have just spent twenty minutes on chat with an agent who didn't read any of my query and proceeded to answer with template, generic detail. Nobody seems to know or care where we will purchase music from in future if we don't want to pay for a streaming subscription/service. As an android user, there are very limited options but they don't care enough to help because they'd rather we all just signed up to a monthly fee. FURIOUS!

Google Play is garbage

This store from Google, for your Android devices has so much crap. One of the biggest problems is fake cloud mining apps, and some of them you have to pay to download or get it started. So...they are scams! Another one are apps misleading the user base with ads saying you can win money from them but you don't. They are mostly from China and India. Google's quality control are no where.

Unauthorized transactions for 300+ euro

The only reason this is not a 1-star review is that I actually was able to get most of the 300+ euro my kid spend to Roblox games (horrible quality games).

Even though my account has the setting to require authentication for transactions, my credit card was charged 73 times during my son's two week vacation. It is obvious he was never asked to authenticate on his new Samsung tablet. I only logged in to YouTube for him and lo and behold, my card was FULLY exposed to unauthorized charges.

To add insult to injury, the Google Play support refuses to acknowledge in any way that this practice is ABSURD. It never happens on iOS devices or any other site for that matter.

So never associate your account with an Android device unless you first delete all PAYMENT methods from your account. Painful lesson learned - Google cannot be trusted with your payment details!

People always complain

People always complain, and find a place to do it. Unfortunately their rating doesn't reflect their performance. I had a refund at one point for something and felt taken care of. Honest-ish company besides the obvious potential for them to spy on us ;-)

Unauthorised money was taken out of my…

Unauthorised money was taken out of my account , I noticed this within a hour of this money being taken , it was over a quarter of my monthly income! When speaking to the advisor (who I contacted within a hour of the purchase) I explained my financial situation to them , on benefits etc... , I was then told to make a unauthorised payment claim , but was told it should be sorted within 48 hours ! As being advised to do this I waited the time then was advised it could take up to 12 days , on the 12th day (which is today ) I was told I’m not getting the money back and I should put in a claim for a one time refund payment ( but these are only given if made within the 48 hour period !!! ). So not only have I been left with no money to feed my children who are currently living with me I’m also in debt due to late payment fees ( which I told the advisor about).
Be very careful using google as they have no concerns for you well being or family environment

Dishonest marketing and lousy client service

While I love Google Maps, I simply cannot recommend Google Play. Bad experience with a promissed discount that did not get honoured. Lousy after-sales service and in the end I gave up. I can no longer trust Google to be honest.

They didn't refund me

Disgusting. My son used my card without my concent and it was the bank that has his medical money in. He's only 11 years old with severe autism and other disabilities so he didn't understand his wrongdoings. Initially i got 11 refund outbid the 200+ purchases by going on my order history, but Google refuse to refund anymore which is disgusting. Disability discrimination
