The wonderful and generous Chinelo sent out a box of brownies as a condolence gift. It was completely unexpected and kind beyond words. Good people exist as was demonstrated.
The brownies were another level. I’ve never had anything like it. The generosity of chocolate, the quality of the ingredients, the sheer indulgence of these pieces of heaven, can’t be described. For a little time, I felt wrapped up in love and kindness. The brownies were beautifully packaged in a gorgeous little tin that can be kept as a keepsake, everything about the product screams quality and class. I promise, upon trying this food of the gods, you won’t regret it. All artisan cake makers should aspire to this standard of excellence and exquisite delicate and light touch. When I cook for my friends and family, I pour my love and soul into it. This is what I felt the beautiful Chinelo had done. Her customer service is exemplary, if you buy nothing else from her, try the brownies…..although I fear you will end up buying a lot more!
I’m so happy to be leaving a good review, there are some people who are truly deserving of it, as are Chinelo and her master bakers. If you have to have cake/brownies(and who doesn’t?) make this cake company the one you use, put the best into your soul, you deserve it!

Got amazing brownies from GCD, loved everyone of them. Came in a cute well packaged box. Tasted sooo good 🤤🍰. Definitely locked in and will be getting some more 🤤🔥🔥

I have never been one to have pasteries/desserts & if i did, it had to be red velvet. I had a brownie for the 1st time. The presentation was the attraction, the taste... that melt in your mouth, feel good experience was AWESOME!!!
Literally ordered a box of 6 doubles for the family, can't be the only one tasting those goodness. 😋
Can't wait to go to GOODCAKE DAY site to try out some other dessert flavor.

I opted for BLUSH bars for my registry, and they were a hit! Everyone loved the taste and the look! They truly added an extra special touch to my big day!

We celebrated our friend’s birthday last night and the price of the cake was £106.50. Though the cake was visually beautiful, the frosting was made of buttercream entirely including the middle of the cake. The taste overall was beyond mediocre. We didn’t even want to finish our slices. It was like eating tons of butter spreaded on a slice of bread. If you’d like to order a cake but not to eat, the cake is suitable. Aside from that, it was pricey than the same size cake that can be bought in the patisseries in Knightsbridge and not worth for its quality.

I ordered my cake at relatively short notice for a 40th birthday party. Chinelo was so accommodating and patient - since I had specific modifications to the design. She gave invaluable advice and recommended a flavour (vanilla with mango passionfruit and yuzu coulis and white chocolate buttercream) that went down a treat with my guests. I've never tasted a cake so beautifully balanced in flavour, light in texture without being too sweet. It was perfect, and looked amazing, too. Highly recommended. I also had two vegan guests for whom I ordered the vegan Lotus Biscoff brownies. Both said they were "hands down" the best brownies they'd ever had. Amazing cakes, wonderful customer service. I'll definitely be ordering again.

I researched many cake company’s before deciding on this one. I took my time to explain what I wanted my cake to look like and when delivered, the cake definitely looked the part. The cake itself was dry in texture and not to the standard I expected it to be for the price.

I ordered the brownies for my daughter in Australia, it only took 7 days for them to arrive. My daughter was blown away, she loved the presentation tin and handwritten note. She said she is not normally a big brownie fan. She is now. She ate all of them for breakfast, dinner and tea :0) I first heard about good cake day on talk radio, they were all raving about how incredible the cakes are, and they are. I've ordered again a Christmas present for my other daughter, I know she will love them too 😋👍

Ordered some brownies for a friend's birthday! It was a lovely surprise and she loved the brownies themselves. The attention to detail is amazing and made this present all the more special! Thank you for such an easy delivery process and some fab brownies! :)

I ordered a box of Brownie's for my husband's bday- GCD made it even more special by adding a name on the top of each of these gorgeous rich flavour Brownies. Beautifully boxed, very professional service and most importantly tasted delicious (moist, soft. great texture).
Will definitely be ordering these again.
