UPDATED - I regret ever buying a car from Good Motors Ltd. My experience with this so-called dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a Tesla Model 3 on 28 October 2024, and within days, significant faults came to light, including major suspension issues, confirmed by Tesla's service centre. These faults rendered the car unsafe and unfit for purpose.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Good Motors Ltd is legally obligated to ensure the vehicle they sell is of satisfactory quality and fit for use. Instead, they deflected all responsibility, attempting to push me toward claiming repairs on a third-party warranty that was irrelevant and inadequate for the issues. This is despite the fact that the faults clearly existed at the time of sale.
When I raised the matter, Good Motors Ltd:
Refused to acknowledge their legal obligations,
Dismissed my concerns, claiming the faults were "wear and tear" despite expert confirmation to the contrary,
Offered no meaningful resolution beyond paying for the diagnosis—while leaving me with a faulty, unsafe car.
Their complete lack of accountability and dismissive attitude shows a disregard for customers' rights and safety. They sell faulty vehicles and hide behind excuses rather than taking responsibility.
I am now escalating this matter through Trading Standards, the Motor Ombudsman, and the Small Claims Court to recover my costs and resolve the issue, which should never have been necessary.
I strongly urge anyone considering buying a car from Good Motors Ltd to think twice. This dealership has shown itself to be unreliable, untrustworthy, and unwilling to stand by the quality of the vehicles they sell. Protect yourself and take your business elsewhere.
---UPDATE BELOW---
Despite their public display of wanting to be helpful and resolve this issue, Good Motors Ltd has shown no genuine willingness to address the serious faults with the car I purchased. Their responses to my review suggest they are committed to resolving problems, but their private communications have been consistently unhelpful, deflective, and dismissive of their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
I purchased a Tesla Model 3 on 29 October 2024, and significant faults were identified within days, including serious suspension issues confirmed by Tesla. These faults are clearly pre-existing, yet Good Motors Ltd has refused to pay for the necessary repairs or provide any meaningful resolution. Instead, they have repeatedly tried to pass the issue onto a warranty provider, which is irrelevant as the faults existed prior to sale and are entirely their responsibility as the seller.
As a result of their refusal to act, I have no choice but to formally reject the car and pursue a full refund through legal channels. I will also be reporting Good Motors Ltd to Trading Standards for failing to comply with the Consumer Rights Act.
Their public claims of wanting to help are entirely at odds with their private behaviour. This dealership has consistently avoided accountability and failed to meet the standards of customer care and legal compliance one would expect. I would strongly advise potential customers to avoid this dealership unless they are prepared for similar issues and an unwillingness to resolve them.

I bought a Peugeot 208 from Good Motors in September 2024.
Shortly after, the engine warning light started blinking, the car went into limp mode, and I had to restart the car multiple times just to drive.
The car went into a garage in October, then Good Motors kept my car for almost a month between November and December to fix it, but the problem persisted until January, 2025, when I sent a formal complaint to them.
Good Motors insists the fault “wasn’t there at sale” and now demands £1,700 in repairs.
Their customer support is appalling.
Avoid this dealership at all costs!!

Definitely a no pressure deal. Couldn't fault the process, From initial phone call to arrange the viewing and test drive, to final purchase and collection. Dealt with Shaqeel for all parts of this process. Totally hassle free. I've left it a week before the review to ensure I had no issues. Took the car for a test drive with no pressure after it. Done the deal in a no pressure environment with open discussions regarding the car. Great communication throughout and basically can not but sing the praises of this garage enough. I'd have no hesitation of using these guys again.

Saw a dispatch van at this place went for a test drive and it was a smooth drive. The van was in a very good condition. The owner and his staff were very helpful and everything went smoothly from purchasing the vehicle to picking it up from the dealers.
I would highly recommend them for purchasing a vehicle.

Excellent service, highly recommended. Viewed a car at Good Motors that we had seen advertised on Autotrader. Staff very helpful and informative, was able to easily take the car for a test drive (and without having to pay a deposit to do so which was the attitude of the previous garage we had visited.) We were offered a fair price in part exchange for our car. All staff were helpful and courteous, refreshing really! We bought a Kia and it was immaculate when we collected. Missing a parcel shelf and they ordered a new one to be sent to us. Great service.

Had a great experience buying a car here. No pushy sales techniques, left to look at our leisure, then allowed to road-test on our own. The staff were so helpful when I had questions, and made the purchase and part ex so easy.

A difficult telephone conversation today was handled with impressive courtesy and professionalism. I am sorry that in the end we were unable to proceed with our proposed purchase.
5 star service bought small automatic
Good price and great people to deal with
