Crap. Screens are flimsy and make the product unusable. Total waste of money junk
I purchased the product in February and still have not received it in April. They refuse to issue a refund and keep telling me they are escalating it with the courier company. I have raised a complaint with the ACCC. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! It is unimagineable how they are allowed to operate a business with all these complaints.
The screen resolution is so poor that the monitors can't be used without significant eye strain. Appalling customer support. Apparently, this is functioning as expected! They are dropshippers but claim to be an Aussie company with Aussie distribution. Their return policy does not comply with Australian consumer law, as you can only return if they are unused. How on earth do you try the product and work out it's so bad? Don't waste your money. Also note that if you write a review on their website, they won't publish it.
I agree with most people who rated this seller ONE STAR... I could give 0 STAR if applicable...
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.....
I was unhappy with how the monitors performed - jumped through all their hoops with a video even - and they refused to issue a refund for a return. Worst customer experience ever. Do not buy this product.
If I could give zero stars I would. I investigated and this is a dude dropshipping these screens. The return address is a residential unit. The customer support isn’t in Australia as they didn’t know the correct return address. The customer support chat person said ‘hahahaha why did you assume that the screen would attach’ Rude, unprofessional, unethical, the products are not as described, have misleading photos (I mentioned this in the chat and they actually agreed), and their 30 day money back policy is not honnoured. Stay away.
I bought the S2 Glide monitors for 14" screens with 2 extra screens.
Fit them to my work computer and found that it requires x2 USB-C ports for the screens to work.
My computer only has x2 USB-C ports and they're used for:
1. power.
2. internet connection via multi-port system. Needed to drive work soft wear.
Contacted Glide immediately to let them know and have been getting the run around.
At this point about to make a complaint to the ACCC and contact my bank.
I swear they're drawing it out due to the timing on their returns policy. So by the time it's returned it falls past their timeframe.
Now I've paid a fortune for 2 extra screens I can't use.
One Star
I wish I could give zero. This company’s Black Friday promo is a mess and their customer service only makes it worse.
The website clearly says all free Black Friday gifts are automatically included with no code required. But when you go through the standard Shop checkout, the one that applies the subscriber discount they encouraged me to sign up for, the gifts disappear. No warning, no terms, no conditions. Just gone.
When I questioned this, I was first told the gifts come with any checkout method. Then after providing proof, the story suddenly changed. Now the gifts apparently count as a promotion code that blocks the subscriber discount. The word promotion does not even appear in their Terms of Service. Nowhere does it say the advertised offers cannot be combined.
So their own system forces you to choose:
Gifts but no discount
Or discount but no gifts
The exact opposite of what they advertise. That is misleading and I have screenshots of every step to prove it.
I also saved the full chat transcript including when the agent tried to twist the explanation instead of fixing the issue. That is when I said I will be sending everything to the ACCC if it is not resolved properly.
All I asked for was what they advertised:
The Black Friday gifts included with the Nomad Pro S2 Ultra
The subscriber discount applied as promised
A simple apology for the poor treatment
If they actually fix this then great. Until they do, one star is generous.
Very slow customer service, product not delivered.
04-Aug: Order made with expected delivery date 20-Aug ish (processing time + delivery)
23-Aug: contacted company to chase up delivery
26-Aug: chased company for an update
05-Sep: company said they were following up with courier (Royal Mail)
23-Sep: chased company for an update
25-Sep: company replied with returns info - no help as nothing to return!
25-Sep: said I didn't have anything to return and asked if company had heard back from Royal Mail
13-Oct: no reply by email so I used the contact form
16-Oct: company said tracking info shows that the parcels were successfully delivered, with proof of delivery available directly from the carrier - the "proof" was a close up photo of a label, taken on a day when I was out of the country.
Raised issue with credit card to dispute transaction.
