These people are crooks! They seem to think they can rip people off. They send their staff to sell you a ‘photo shoot day’ and then go quiet after they’ve taken your money. I tried contacting them several times by post, email and phone and they haven’t had the decency to respond. Shame on you as you would’ve earned positive reviews (if deserving) and more recommendations.

How are we supposed to get our money back!!! Anyone any ideas

This photo shoot was a birthday present. And I loved every minute of it. Nice atmosphere, brilliant team. The photographer was absolutely amazing. I arrived 15mins late due to the weather, but the photographer made me feel at ease, didn't rush me.
I had a few concerns, but these were dealt with and resolved satisfactorily.
Would definitely recommend GK London!!

I felt highly pressurised to buy the photos. I was sold the experience as purely a experience to be pampered and have a photo shoot with one free photo. Also there was no clear mention of the prices of the photos or the photo bundles available.
The consultation with the photos at the end of the day was incredibly uncomfortable and I felt highly pressured into buying photos at a price that was much higher than I anticipated.
I left feeling conned and did not enjoy the experience. Would not recommend.
Additionally I did not feel the make up artists properly discussed the make up that would be done and went of a one word adjective that didn’t really explain the make up look. I tried to highlight I didn’t quite feel comfortable in the makeup but was ushered that my time for the photos would soon be approaching.

I ended up with some great photos which were exactly what I wanted and the whole photographic experience was very enjoyable as well as productive. The make up was also great and well pitched for the camera. The manicure and hair styling were somewhat disappointing - not what I had expected - but did not detract from the end product.

Had a fabulous day. Especially enjoyed the photo shoot!

Make up and hair was not as glamorous as described but had a wonderful experience. Beautiful photos but a bit too pricey.

GK London offered my daughters an amazing experience. They had so much fun getting their hair and make-up done as well as posing for photos. The photos turned out to be so nice that we were lost for choice! Thank you GK London!

All good except the changing room. Not even a coat hanger and very cramped! Staff were all fab and I had a great day.

Wonderful experience. Kind, welcoming, warm staff. Fantastic hair and makeup that made me look fantastic. Rod the photographer clearly knows his stuff. I've never felt more confident and sexy. Loved it!

Recently Had a photoshoot with GK London. Overall a good experience. Good pictures. Easy to book. Found them online and they were very helpful at accommodating us for the session although we were a family of 5 and booked very last minute. would recommend.

Great experience and great photos

Loved the photos taken but the cost is ridiculous. Price increased by £200 for every 5 pictures. I would only ever do this once based on the cost. Shame if it was more affordable I would do this again for sure!

I bought a voucher after being approached on the street as it seemed like a good opportunity to replace the image on my company website which I loathe. I was a bit nervous it might be a scam but I needn't have worried. The only criticism I have is that I was told that they would phone me to arrange an appointment but that did not happen. However, when I did phone in, I was given an appointment that suited from the very helpful Ann and when I got there, I had a lovely time. I had a manicure, hair styling and make up session and then lots of time with the photographer. I had planned only to take one photo provided with the voucher but there were so many nice ones, I ended up buying a couple of extras. There was absolutely no pressure on me to spend more. Thanks to the whole team for a lovely day. I intend to go back with my daughter at some point.

I was recently at Gk london with their promotional voucher. Had mixed thoughts after checking these reviews, but I feel like I should pass on my positive feedback since I found the experience and the whole studio team to be amazing. The make up was proper make up session, they did an amazing glam look on me and was so pleased, photographer was super friendly and judging by the end result of the images, was a professional. The lady in the viewing room must definitely be someone else and it seems they changed staff as this one was very relaxed and very transparent when it comes to the images. I only could afford the silver package , but I am pleased with that.

I bought this experience for my Mum and myself to have a fun day out together. We enjoyed the majority of our experience; we were greeted with bubbly and had our nails and makeup done. I was apprehensive about awkwardness during the photographs, but the photographer was good at making us feel comfortable and we enjoyed the shoot.
After being pushed into buying the experience from dogmatic sales person on the street, we had agreed before-hand to walk away with three images: two individual photos and one joint. Here was where the difficulties started. The sales representative who showed us our photographs tried to force us to buy large packages of expensive photos, which we had made clear we did not want. Her sales strategy was aggressive, rude and highly pressurising. The most appalling part was when she said my mum would never go to a photoshoot again (insinuating she was close to death), and that when she was gone I would regret not having these photos to remember her by. I thought this sales strategy was appalling and it really upset both my mum and I.
Overall, the service you offer is good – however this highly pressurising sales approach really does detract from the experience. Do not retail your produce as a fun studio day without accepting that some clients will not wish to spend £1,042 on a photograph package.

Been at GK London the past month and overall experience was great. Went mainly for some Corporate headshots as I needed to update my CV but the photographer Joanna made me feel very relaxed and ended up taking some casual shots as well which turned out very well. At the end I purchased one of their packages , which includes complementary retouching. Very happy with my first ever professional photoshoot
