There is a mismatch between spare part list and accessories! Rubber feet are sold by 3 when you only need one and shipping is expensive for already expensive accessories.

The tripod is light, easily carried, but with limitations.
The tripod is light, strong and steady. It is easily carried into the field. I dislike the leg clips (top of leg). Since the majority of my photography is wildlife, I find these locks are somewhat cumbersome. The extra time to set the legs and lock them has caused missed opportunities. Additionally, I constantly get my fingers pinned under the clip lever.

Gitzo Tripod
Product was shipped and packed well. When I first tried to set up the tripod, I took one of the legs off by mistake and could not get it back together again. I called the Gitzo distributer in the US. A gentlemen from the technical support team walked me step by step through the process how to put the tripod together again. Very helpful and very patient. Thank you.

Got the product finally
Got the product finally, paid for next day delivery as the tripod needed the parts. about 3 weeks later after many attempts asking where the parts where and all I got was " we need to call the warehouse to find out" but no one ever really responded with a date. Ended up doing a make shift part so I could continue to work.

Brilliant gear, let down by the cost of repairing it
Fantastically well made photographic gear. However, the RRPs are unrealistic and the price of spare parts will make your eyes water.

Prompt shipment of replacement feet for…
Prompt shipment of replacement feet for tripod. Only problem is that the replacement was needed: the tripod is great, including the feet, but they come off too easily. I have now lost two of them in two photo trips in the field.
