I expect that when a (supposedly) reputable distributor offers other company's products for resale, they either have those products in stock and ready to ship, or they have a contract with the producer to supply all the options listed for sale. That should be basic business practice - don't sell something you don't have. They were offering a product I wanted to buy so I placed an order, they took my money, THEN told me it was out of production, and STILL HAVEN'T refunded my money.
Giarre does not appear to be a reputable reseller as they seem to think selling a product that doesn't exist is acceptable. No one should trust a company that does this.

I had a very disappointing experience with Giarre.com.
The website presents prices in a way that strongly suggests the total cost is clear at checkout. However, after placing the order, I was hit with additional customs duties and fees that were not made transparent upfront. These charges were only effectively revealed after purchase, which I consider misleading to customers.
While the company later stated that these fees are mentioned somewhere on the website, they are not clearly or prominently disclosed during the buying journey, especially given the headline pricing and checkout flow. This results in customers making purchasing decisions without full visibility of the real total cost.
Customer service refused any refund and shifted responsibility entirely to customs, despite the lack of transparent pricing at the point of sale.
I would strongly advise potential customers to be cautious, especially when ordering from outside the EU, and to factor in unexpected extra costs that are not clearly communicated before payment.

Got a pair of Saint Laurent (SL97 in silver) on the website. Sunglasses arrived quickly, could follow them the whole way through via UPS, they were well wrapped and no damage at all to the parcel - all perfect!

I placed my order since 2nd of January and paid in full and they confirmed the payment and up till today 12th January 2026 no tracking number and contacted them and keep telling your order will be shipped within 5 to 10 working days contacted customer service and no more reply. If they are not scammed stay away from them

Purchased 2 sunglasses from giarre before Christmas, and my order arrived promptly ~1-2 weeks later (despite the festive season) after the New Year.
The products were authentic from Ray-Ban, at the same time being significantly cheaper. Will definitely be making more purchases in the near future.

Very disappointing customer service.
My mother bought me a pair of sunglasses as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately in the wrong colour. We spent Christmas in Switzerland, where I received the gift, and I immediately contacted the webshop to ask how to return or exchange them.
I was first told not to send the return from Switzerland, as this was not recommended since it is not EU. I then asked if I could return them once I got back home on January 3rd, but was later informed that this would be too late, even though the delay was only a few days. Despite ongoing communication and following their guidance, no flexibility or solution was offered.
The glasses are unopened, and I simply wanted to exchange them for the same model in a different colour. Instead, I am now left with a product I cannot use or return.
A very frustrating experience and a lack of customer-focus. I will not be shopping here again.

I am a consumer based in the Netherlands.
On 13 dec, I placed an online order with this company for 7 pairs of sunglasses and paid €840 in advance. After payment, there was no response, no shipping confirmation, and no delivery for more than two weeks.
Only after this prolonged silence, Giarre contacted me by email with an unusual and legally problematic request: they asked me to explicitly confirm that I waive my right to return any of the products, stating that returns are “too expensive” for them and that they order items individually from the manufacturer.
This request was made AFTER payment and AFTER the order had already been placed.
Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers have a mandatory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases, starting from the moment the goods are received. This right applies fully to sunglasses and cannot be excluded for reasons such as business costs, logistics, or supplier arrangements.
Any attempt to:
• exclude the right of withdrawal,
• require post-purchase consent to waive statutory rights, or
• condition delivery on the consumer giving up legal protections
is legally invalid under EU law.
At no point prior to purchase was I clearly and lawfully informed that returns would be excluded. Even if such a clause had existed, it would still be unenforceable in this case, as sunglasses are not exempt from the right of withdrawal.
To date, I have:
• paid in full,
• received no goods,
• received no timely communication,
• and been asked retroactively to give up my statutory consumer rights in order to proceed.
This is not how lawful e-commerce within the European Union operates.
I am sharing this experience to warn other consumers and to document a practice that appears to conflict with EU consumer protection legislation.

I ordered some Philip Plein sunglasses and forgot to add discount code. I sent an email and received a response within 24 hours from Alice who was very friendly and helpful. The discount was added and I received refund within 3 days. This is the first time I have ordered from Giarre but would definitely purchase from them again. Superb service and staff thank you. Aww forgot I received my glasses before Xmas with full tracking so I could ensure I was home to take delivery
