Avoid AVOID AVOID

Sent an iPhone 5S back on the 27.10.15 via collect plus, it arrived on the 30.10.15, this was confirmed by the shop. Now the 12.11.15 and no payment for my goods or communication. I have emailed 6 times with no response. When you call the shop I'm told that the online business is now separate from the online. Just reported the handset as stolen to Police and Vodafone. I hope nobody else sends goods back to this fraudulent company!!!

Very poor communication if you are unfortunate to run into problems with your order

I had a positive experience of this company initially. They fairly appraised a phone I was wanting to sell them and returned it back to me when they identified a fault, advising me that if I got the problem resolved they would accept delivery of the phone again and would purchase it from me. I did this but unfortunately it was somehow lost along the way to them by the third party courier that they use (collect plus).

I accept this is not getpaid.co.uk's fault however the only way the courier will reimburse me for my loss is if getpaid log a claim for the loss with them. This is where my complaint lies as I have been spending the best part of a month trying to get getpaid to do just this - which you would think would be a fairly straight forward procedure. I have phoned their single number multiple times (which it is worth pointing out is not a free phone number). Every time I am told the Internet sales team are not available. I leave my details and am promised a call back which never comes. They also provide the ability to send them secure messages on their website, but my last 3 have all gone unanswered for almost 2 weeks now.

As a result I am significantly out of pocket no longer being in possession of my phone and with it looking like I have little prospect of getting getpaid to reimburse me.

Very frustrating and stressful and unless it gets resolved soon I will definitely not be using them again.

I would caution anyone considering selling goods to these guys. The price they will offer you will be one of the most attractive from the Internet mobile recyclers and this is the mistake I made being drawn in. I would advise sticking to the larger companies that do not use questionable couriers (I've never had a parcel lost through royal mail, but the second one sent via collect plus disapears)! It feels like I have simply had my goods stolen and all the onus is left on me to try and get getpaid to do anything about it, as the courier will only deal with them.

UPDATE ONE MONTH ON:
I'm the last person to review this company on this site. I'm sorry to say a few weeks on and I am still no closer to having my issue resolved and am over £100 out of pocket as a result. I really wouldn't deal with this company if I were you - avoid at all costs!

Best phone recycle service

Have used many phone recycling services in the past, but Getpaid will certainly be getting all future custom. The whole process was easy, too my phone to my local collect+ point at mid day on a tuesday, money was in my bank account on the thursday. They even offered more money than their competitors.
