We have had Livewire do several projects - some of which are really good and some of which have been of dubious value. In every case Livewire has been enthusiastic about installing the high end option but I am not sure they all have worked to create a better solution. The "booster" they installed to make our Wi-Fi signal stronger has created more problems than it solved and frankly requires sometimes elaborate work-arounds to get any value from it. The Sonos systems they installed on our various entertainment systems have done well. We had a hard time getting anyone to take ownership of our issues but ultimately did get a good service call from Kevin Neilson.

I've got a somewhat complicated home phone system in that there are multiple phone jacks throughout the house (23). We knew that one of the jacks was sending a "phone off hook" signal to our system (probably a short in that line somewhere). The Livewire technician wasn't able to correctly figure out which of the jacks was the problem (it was #21) so I had to have Verizon come to the house and solve the issue.

Guy who did the install was nice -- end result is slow and cumbersome

Livewire is run by an exceptional talent in the technology sector, Henry Clifford. He hires the best and let's them do their job. All the associates are competent and courteous.
I would recommend Livewire (and have done so) to friends and family and that is the best advertising they can have.

Livewire did a great job. The guy who usually handles my home theatre never returned my calls. In fact, Livewire was the only company I called that did return my call. They came out within a few days and got my system up and running again. They did so well I had them estimate several more projects and have contacted them about moving forward. Professional guys you would not be afraid to send to your mom's house. I am a general contractor and I know good people when I work with them.

Agents did their job but I wasn't prepared to ask enough questions to get everything I found later that I would have liked to know. Be prepared to ask all the questions you need to so as to cover all the areas you want answers to.

Excellent, responsible business

LiveWire technically performed everything they promised. They are very easy to work with and reliably show up and perform what they promise. The very quickly designed and installed electrical and entertainment upgrades. They also resolved some serious issues we were having with the internet service. Their supplier, Lutron, made many mistakes on order for window shades which caused this part of project to by delayed for months. We were very disappointed with Lutron support on this part of the project.

LiveWire employees are exceptional with their communications which makes them a pleasure to work with. Nothing like technical competence AND communication skills!!

Drake, our installer, was prompt, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk with. It's always reassuring when the installer knows about or owns the equipment you are buying. Besides, it's always great to speak with a fellow audiophile. Great experience overall.

I had a really old house that required complete design and installation of not only a fully integrated audio/ WiFi system but,also, visual/TV design and installation in seven rooms and fast and capable computer access. The design is seamless and the installation was perfect. Livewire was available to tweak the system at a moments notice and I could not be happier with the outcome. These people know what they are doing.
