Very good contact a d follow up with Getaround following issues with the car. The car ear however not in an excellent state ( passenger seat couldn't be put upright, steering wheel hard to turn...).

I’ve been using this platform without…
I’ve been using this platform without problem for 2 years. Recently I rented a car which unbeknown to me was damaged during my rental. I had taken out additional accidental damage cover from Getaround and so believed my liability would be limited to €250.
Getaround are trying to charge me €1300 for the repairs which obviously I’m refusing to pay. I’ve asked to talk to them to understand why they’re charging me the full cost of the repair - but so far have been unable to speak to anyone L.
Today they have blocked my account !!!

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. The company doesn't care that car owners are renting unsafe car and lying about the condition of the rentals. I had to shorten my holiday, because driving around was unsafe, and on top of that Getaround told me it was my problem because i hadn't returned the car earlier. Don't waste your time with a company that doesn't do anything to protect customers but only cares about keeping their money.
