Pontypridd branch

Popped in to store (Pontypridd branch) was met with a warm greeting from both the gentleman, Ben and Stef. Very helpful, polite and made a very welcoming and environment for me, my sister and my niece. Talked through all our options and made sure we were happy. Thank you both.

Spoke to Lewis (several times)

Sooke to Lewis (several times bless him) regsrding transferring my new phone to my old phone number and im so thankful that each time he was as helpful snd patient as the first time we spoke. Im certainly not good with anything technical and am in fact quite scared of such things but Lewis gently and precisely talked me through everything ensuring i understood what he was asking me to do. Lewis you were lovely -
promise i wont ring with all my other problems though….. 😂😂

STAY WELL AWAY. BOUGHT A PHONE ON 18/11/23. FAULTY AND SCREEN FROZEN BY 25/11/23. TOOK IT BACK TO THE THE SHOP IN BUILTH (WHICH IT SEEMS THEY ONLY OPEN WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT AND NOT AS ADVERTISED ON THE DOOR OR WEBSITE). LARGE BUILT GUY IN THE STORE CLAIMED THE NEED TO CHECK THE PROCESS FOR A REFUND BY CALLING SOMEONE ELSE AND THEN TRIED TO MAKE OUT THE PHONE WAS CHIPPED, WHICH IT ISN'T. SEEMED A VERY POOR ATTEMPT TO REFUSE THE REFUND OR REDUCE IT. HOWEVER UNDER THE CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT I AM FULLY ENTITLED TO A REFUND SO NOW HAVING TO GO THROUGH A BATTLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. ALSO ALLEDGEDLY GET CONNECTED AREN'T OFFERING THE EE NETWORK ANYMOE -YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK WHY THAT IS!

Hi Jennifer, sorry you were not happy with the service. We do apologise that we were not open on the day in question. Like all retailers at the moment we occasionally suffer with recruitment issues and staff sickness and not being open is not ideal for us either unfortunately. With regards to the refund you requested, we did explain to you privately why on this occasion we could not help you. We no longer sell the EE network to consumers for the same reason that no other independent retailers do not at the moment.

March 2020-July 2023 an ongoing saga...

March 2020. Received a call from Get Connected saying they were from EE and phone due an upgrade (true). New phone arrived and was with 3 network. Reading other bad reviews I realised I needed to return the unwanted unused phone to a store - just in case they suggested it was damaged. This was done (Chepstow store 14 March 2020) and I was advised Get Connected would cancel the contract with 3 ASAP. This did not happen. Have been chased by debt collection agency for almost £1000. This came to light in December 2022. Have been contacting Get Connected since with still no resolution. Apparently has been escalated to their head office?! Have requested numerous updates and not received a thing. Appalling customer service. EDIT 7/7/23 - a reply!!!!! No I was not informed the handset was delivered to the wrong location - by whom/when/why may I ask??!!!! I have repeatedly asked for you to call me with an update and you have not. As the contract was taken out with Get Connected it is their responsibility to cancel it with 3. Three have informed me of this several times when I have attempted to speak with them. PLEASE CAN A HUMAN FROM GET CONNECTED GIVE ME A CALL AS REQUESTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER

As you know, the handset was unfortunately delivered to the wrong location which did result in a delay.
As advised to you previously, we are unable to action your complaint directly due to this delay and it is only the network (Three) that can cancel your contract.
We have again escalated this with them for you, but it may speed up your complaint if you contact them directly.
Pleas feel free to visit one of our retail stores and we can call them with you if you prefer.

We recently switched to 3 and upgraded…

We recently switched to 3 and upgraded our iPhones. Being of a certain age, it was vital to do this face to face! Jack at Leominster was absolutely brilliant! Endless patience and our query of the following day dealt with in minutes. Can’t recommend him highly enough. A constantly busy shop and non stop calls didn’t prevent him from sorting us out in double quick time. Professional and very friendly-could not ask for more! Recommended!

Helpful service

My experience with Get Connected in Abergavenny and Bobby was that he couldn’t have done more to help me.
I updated my phone via a call centre with Get Connected, a most confusing and long winded experience.
Bobby however proceeded to help me with my confusing dilemma and sorted things out in a cheerful and positive manner.
My experience showed me never to go down the call centre route again and always use the face to face experience in the shop.I hasten to add he got no commission or gain from helping me .He alleviated my frustration and “Connected” my phone.

Get connected at a distance

To say I was stressed about the transfer from EE to Vodaphone and transgerring my data from old to new phone would be an understatement. In the end thanks to Jack's clear instructions everything went smoothly and I now just await the transfer of my old number tomorrow.

Fantastic personal service at Get Connected Bridgnorth. I’ve been a customer for several years and won’t go anywhere else now, especially as I get older and need all the tech help I can get. GEOFF has just ordered and set up my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. I couldn’t have done it without him. Geoff always goes the extra mile to give impartial advice and support- in this age of Bank closures, long call wait times and robot chats, it’s a breath of fresh air to speak face to face with a friendly and knowledgeable human! This shop is a jewel in Bridgnorth’s crown. I can’t recommend it highly enough 👍😃
