The high-touch, client friendly service was great. They were very understanding of the practical challenges of the move, not just the logistics but also the personal implications. Very customer friendly.

Gerson were allocated by my company to move us to Canada in December. In general, the company provided good service. We did provide feedback during the time the removal people were with us about how the process had been handled, however, which brings the rating down. The survey of our house and belongings was done via live video well in advance of the removals when really we should have had someone come out and visit us to assess the size of our house and the lack of space to store boxes whilst the removal crew were packing. As the
company had decided to pack for 2 whole days before removing any boxes whatsoever, the house was totally crammed full and it became very, very stressful. The crew asked me a couple of times if there was a garage, shed, large space etc where they could stack the boxes - something we didn't have in our tiny, low-ceiling grade II listed cottage, and something which could have been avoided if the person doing the survey had been more thorough or at least if we had had a visit. There should have been more detail in the information regarding what to expect during the removals process.
The removal crew were also generally good but took apart a few items which didn't need taking apart, resulting in them either being broken or difficult to reassemble. The insurance covered the broken items and a couple of lost boxes of belongings, with a swift process.

Excellent customer service from Emma, who kept us fully up-to-date at each step. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great experience with Gerson and their Singapore counterpart The Family Movers: they helped me moving stuff from Amsterdam to Singapore, and it was a smooth experience: friendly, professional people, well packed, and unpacked at destination. I moved 20 times but this was the first time all my stuff arrived without any damage. Finally found a good mover, I recommend them

I'm in the middle of an international move from Europe to the U.S. East Coast, and working with Gerson has been nothing short of miserable. From the start, my relocation agent has been uninformed about the process, and I haven’t received a single proactive update on my move. Communication has been nearly nonexistent, and any attempt to get information has felt like pulling teeth since Gerson received payment.

Having moved internationally before, I can say that Gerson’s service and expertise are significantly lacking in comparison. A certain low level of service can be forgiven if the core service is delivered competently, but we’re now approaching month five of what was quoted as a 2-3 month delivery. At this point, I have no idea where my belongings are or when they might arrive.

Moving is already stressful, and international moves are especially taxing. I strongly recommend choosing a company that won’t add to the chaos and uncertainty with poor communication and extended delays. Save yourself the trouble and look for a mover who respects both your belongings and your peace of mind.

The professionalism and helpfulness of Zoltan. Everything was made so easy and the move was faultless. The removal staff were also extremely professional and courteous.

Gerson sent a packing company to our place on August 27. They didn't even have a parking permit, they parked in the cyclepath, the police arrived, they blocked a side street and loaded the truck in a rush, not caring about protecting the last items they were supposed to pack. THe driver wasn't supposed to load the boxes, but he did, as they were fighting over time.

Today it is october 2nd and we have no clear updates on our goods. They haven't left the port yet. We ask for updates, as we need them to rent an unfurnished apartment, but we don't receive clear answers. Very uncomfortable situation.

Emma was on top of everything, there was a clear line of communication at every step of the process - from organising the date of collection all the way through to delivery.
Everything was easy, the goods arrived in great condition and I would 100% use them again.

When planning to move from England to America I can't deny I was beyond nervous about getting all my stuff moved over there as well.
However, Gerson Relocation have been genuinely great at calming those nerves, and they made the whole process far smoother than I'd ever expected.

Emma was looking over my case throughout and she's been amazing at keeping me updated every step of the way, and she's always been extremely quick to reply to me whenever I had any queries.
The movers they'd arranged to collect my things were both really friendly guys who made surprisingly quick work of packing up my apartment (they'd packed up everything and left before 12pm!). They took great care of all my things, wrapping everything well for shipping.
And finally, the movers who brought everything to my new apartment in America were also great guys who somehow had all my boxes dropped off in my apartment within literally 30 minutes after arriving!

I'm still in the process of unpacking everything, but so far not a single thing has been damaged and it's all looking to be in good shape!

There were some delays shipping my stuff over so it took about 4 1/2 months to get to me, but this was entirely out of the hands of Gerson Relocation (more to do with the shipping vessel), and Emma was as good as ever at keeping me informed the whole time.

Overall, I can't recommend them enough. They really do their best to make things as smooth as they can, everything made the trip safely, and the whole 3500 mile move cost less than some of my friends have paid to move just 30 mins away within the UK. :)

From my recent experience, I can recommend Gerson Relocation as a trusted company for moving from the UK to Japan. I wanted to move my furniture and household stuff to Tokyo but the problem was that I had kept them too long in London to be exempted from import tax. I asked big names of Japanese transport companies with UK agencies, but some of them did not deal with personal costumers and others could not give me a quote because of uncertainties about the import process.

Fortunately, my friend who works for the real estate industry and knows transport companies recommended Gerson Relocation for their sincere and accurate responses over the phone. Since then, I exchanged many emails with Gerson Relocation and her partner in Japan about the procedures and the documents I had to prepare, and they were always prompt and friendly. Most importantly, they had documentation in place for easy-to-understand explanations.They updated me frequently even on the weekend.

After two months and half of shipping, they delivered everything safely to Tokyo. To my surprise, I had to pay nothing for import tax since it was handled as moving. Thinking back, I can now appreciate how important mutual trust is for international transport including that with government officials. Without such trust, this moving would not have taken place. The cost was also about half of what I had expected. I do not know words to fully express my heart-felt gratitude to Gerson Relocation and her partner.

For a relocation from London to Athens in June '24: everything went well, stuff arrived in the same condition with no issues, the crew doing the packing in the UK did a great job, were polite and efficient and the crew doing the delivery in Greece was equally efficient and polite. Emma was also very responsive and efficient while planning everything. I would recommend their services.

Our coordinator Emma was helpful, informative, and readily available for quesitons. The shipment arrived intact and on time. Gerson was able to fit into my summer schedule. I had Gershon Movers relocate my furniture and related items incl. bedding, clothing kitchenware, electrical equipments, etc in my apartment in London. They were very efficient in finishing the job within 3 hours and unpacked all items and placed them in reasonable location.
