Great gear their knife is nice…
Great gear their knives hold a pretty good edge and they are a good price.

You'll never hear from them, you can't call them, they don't reply on mails.
My tool is past 20 days on when it should have arrived.
And I still can't get a hold of them. This is my worst experiences so far, don't use this company, I've always loved their tools, but this is completely bs, and I'm no longer gonna use them, I'll switch to leatherman, at least they reply.
I'm a realist, so I seldom believe in "Lifetime Warranties". I broke the file blade on my "always-carry" Gerber Multi-tool. My fault - misuse. I emailed asking to purchase a new blade. Their return email asked for more details on my particular model. In ten days a new knife appeared. NICE !
The products arrived as is and were very amazing quality. Will definitely come back and do business with them in the future.
I tried to make a purchase with a promo code and the website refused the Apple Pay payment. I checked my account and everything was fine on my end and I used Apple Pay before and after the gerbergear site, so it was an issue with their webpage. I contacted the customer support email, because they have no phone number. I explained the situation and asked for a replacement code and any information on why my payment failed. The customer service rep emailed me back paraphrasing what I had said. The code says it was used already and the Apple Pay payment shows that it failed to go through, have a nice day. They said they didn’t have extra codes? Whatever that’s supposed to mean. Do they know they are computer generated not sitting in a warehouse somewhere? They also provided no further information on the payment other than it failed to go through. They literally provided no information past what I already knew and provided no help at all. As fun as it is to listen to my own words paraphrased back at me, I think I will go to a business that wants me as a customer. Probably Leatherman but I wish leatherman used standard bits.
I recently attempted to purchase a Savvy Knife during their 25% off Father day sale. Their website shopping cart would not reflect the correct price displayed on the product’s webpage when added to my cart. Their phone lines were and remain closed so no one to speak to. Through email they told me to place my order and they would credit my credit card for the correct price. This did not happen instead they gave me a 30% off code that only works on a very limited number of products of which I have no use. Shame on you Gerber! Gerber was once a go to company for me but no more.
Do not like any company that is happy to take your money. then does not have time to talk to answer question over phone .I own several Gerber products may be my last. THANKS GERBER
Have a gerber dime multi tool with 25 years warranty. The spring mechanism broke. I tried emailing and calling to find out if anything can be done, but have no reponse and no one seems to answer the phone
Unfortunately, just another company that couldn't care any less about it's customers... Warranty? Customer service? File a claim on one of their mediocre products and they're probably never getting back to you. I would recommend either going into a purchase with this company knowing it's a crap shoot or just buy something somewhere else.
Site seems fine but they have no customer service at all... How is that a thing? How do they have no phone number? How did they take 30 days to respond to a simple question in an email. What if you needed to return something, or actually need them for something? This is like eBay but worse. I would never buy from a company that has ZERO customer service. Better off going to a garage sale or craigslist.
I will start by saying if the rating option had a zero that would have been my choosing rate, this company is so unprofessional when it comes to customer service a response can take 15+ hours or even no response at all if your lucky enough to get an email back it is very bland. I was referred by a friend to buy from gerber gear website this evidently didn’t end well I am still waiting for my product to be shipped the shipping label was created since 1/26 and still no product. I feel exhausted on trying to get a proper response from gerber gear so early this morning 2/3 I asked for a refund and instead of the product it is now 7:12 and still no response gerber gear is basically refusing to do either option. This is not how a business runs the customer is always right and in this case your wrong for taking my money and not fulfilling my order. ORDER#( 02112580)
Bought a knife. Knife arrived and I realized it wasn't for me so wrote them the same day it arrived for an RMA and where to send the knife back to. Never heard from them. No phone to call, no way of getting a hold of them. It's been over a month and several emails with zero response. I'm stuck with an expensive knife and no way of getting it back to Gerber. Anyone wants to buy a gerber knife I suggest look elsware instead of direct from Gerber. Better yet buy a different brand because if you ever need repairs or warranty work you'll never get it from them. Gerber if you're reading this look up order 01057804 and BTW you've now lost a long time customer.
I prefer Ray to Bear but I have to say on receiving the Gerber Multi-tool with Bear's name on it I was sceptical.
However after 4 months of use I find it well built tough and so useful that it never leaves my pocket over the weekend as go about my list of household chores.
The spring loaded pliers are particularly useful, far more so than non spring loaded Leatherman juice I also own.
Scissors and Philips screwdriver have also been worth their weight in gold.
