Working with this brokerage became…
Working with this brokerage became increasingly frustrating. They consistently expected us to provide extensive accounting documentation and repeated proof of payment, as if we were managing their internal bookkeeping. After putting up with this for years, I decided it was time to move on to a more professional and efficient company. The difference has been clear.
Great Customer service by an Employee, Thanks
I have had a week of major issues with a delivery of goods to my place, however there is always someone that goes the extra mile. There is an individual from Geodis that is highly focussed on customer satisfaction and does what ever possible to help a customer. I would like to congratulate, Alexandre Marchand,
Responsable Service Relation Client Adjoint
Distribution & Express, France who is from Geodis for his efforts in solving my delivery. Thanks
⭐ 1/5 – Paid apartment delivery not honoured, extreme delays
Ordered a €2,000 TV on 28 Nov. Delivery took 2 months with repeated failures.
The TV weighs ~40kg. On the first attempt, delivery to my apartment (1st floor) was refused - how is a customer supposed to carry such a heavy item themselves? Anyway, I then paid €92 explicitly for apartment delivery, yet the TV was still returned to the sender due to poor coordination.
After more than a month, delivery was reattempted. Even then, the drivers again refused to carry it upstairs, despite the paid service. I had to plead with them and still ended up carrying the TV myself.
Tracking was useless (“Shipment in transit” for weeks with no ETA).
Retailer communication was good. The delivery company’s (Geodis) execution was not.
For expensive, heavy items, this service is not reliable.
There were supposed to warn then call…
There were supposed to warn then call when arriving around my place for delivery. The lazy worker didn't even care to do his JOB. He saw a one way street and thought that his mission was cancelled. I took my day off to receive this 40 kg piece of furniture for that some lazy bones decides to take his weekend early on , no to mention 0.80 cent a minute to talk to someone on the phone absolutely useless in that matter.
Confusing Status Updates
Most logistics companies seem to be pretty bad, but this one is uniquely bad. I ordered a soundbar from a French retailer, I live in Spain. It was supposed to arrive on Dec. 9th. On Dec. 7th, the tracking showed my package had arrived in Barcelona, so far so good.
But the following day, the status update was in Paris again, saying that the "weight was corrected." It is now Dec. 13th, there have been no new updates and nobody has contacted me sine then. My package is out there somewhere in the void now and I had to contact the retailer to find out what is even happening.
UPDATE: It's Dec. 17th and I still haven't received the order. The tracking status has been stuck on "weight corrected" for over a week now and nobody is able to tell me where the package is. I'm just about ready to request a refund and try to order this thing from a different company that does not use GEODIS.
geodis messing up orders
2 Lego shipments used Geodis for processing and delivery to UPS for shipment. In one order they shipped wrong product, and with second order they shipped only 1 of the 2 things ordered.
Worst
Worst, unprofessional delivery service I've ever meet in the world!
PATHETIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT / SERVICE by…
PATHETIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT / SERVICE by Sachin Suvarna - Sr. Manager - Ocean Import (West) - GEODIS India Private Limited. They delayed our critical shipments almost 10 days by totally ignoring the contact details in the BL instructions and not informing the shipper and the consignee in advance.
Avoid as much as possible
Absolutely terrible website and service. My wife and I just moved on a weekend, and ordered some furniture to arrive the following Monday. This company arrived on Monday, gave no notice of the arrival, didn't contact me, and keep saying my phone number is incorrect. The delivery guy just left. We've been trying to get them back here since, but they keep making it needlessly difficult and frustrating. Seriously steer clear of these clowns.
Parcel Worth €4,149.18 Lost (or stolen?) by Geodis
I placed my order on 06/08/2025 at 20:01 with one French company and was promised delivery by 30/08/2025. Today is 02/09/2025, and I still have not received my parcel. Parcel should be delivered with Geodis. Shipping Costs €159.99!!
According to Geodis tracking, the shipment left Gadki (Poland) on 25/08, but the status has not changed since—it still shows “in transit.” After eight days, the parcel has not even left Poland. This is completely unacceptable.
I contacted Geodis directly, but received no response. My inquiry was ignored entirely. This is by far the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. I strongly advise others to avoid Geodis and any business that uses them for shipping.
The parcel was sent by a French company and was supposed to be delivered to Estonia. I paid €4,149.18 via PayPal, and I am now pursuing a full refund through the PayPal Resolution Center. The seller has also opened a case against Geodis to investigate the whereabouts of the missing parcel.
This situation has caused significant stress. Geodis has provided no transparency, no accountability, and no customer support.
⚠️ Avoid Geodis in all matters. Their service is unreliable and their communication is nonexistent.
We are absolutely appalled at the way…
We are absolutely appalled at the way this situation was handled.
The pictures speak for themselves — there is no denying the circumstances. The load in question weighed 44,000 pounds, and my driver, who is now injured, was forced to offload it. This is not only a breach of reasonable expectations in our industry, but a complete disregard for the health and safety of the driver.
To add insult to injury, you then decided to deduct 40% from our hard-earned pay. This is beyond unacceptable. We are a trucking company, not a charity, and expecting us to absorb such a massive cut after enduring an injury and delivering under these conditions is nothing short of exploitative.
We have been in this business for 14 years, and we have never seen such an unprofessional and disrespectful approach to resolving a dispute. Your actions have demonstrated a lack of fairness, empathy, and integrity.
This experience will not be forgotten, and it will be shared with our network so others can be warned about how you treat carriers.
Humanity in the heat.
During the time of the Tall Ships visiting Aberdeen harbour, Louise, an employee was outside in the heat offering free juice and sweet things to everyone who passed by, and it was a busy place.
She was so helpful and kind. Nothing to do with freight forwarding but an act of human kindness.
Joke
Geodis app jokingly states “France Express”. I say jokingly because they are no express. My parcel was in Toulouse on Tuesday. Now Thursday pm it’s made it to Limoges !!
I’m hoping I will finally receive it Friday (I’m only 1 hour away) but…….
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They never deliver the product, both the seller and I have tried to contact them and radio silence on their side. RUN AWAY FROM IT. I would leave a 0 if available.
0 stars if possible
Geodis has been holding my package for over 5 working days, with no updates, no delivery attempt, and no explanation whatsoever. This delay is completely unacceptable for a professional courier service.
The sender, HomeCinemaSolutions, has also been trying to get in touch with Geodis for 2 days to get an update— and they haven’t received any response either. No tracking updates, no phone support — just complete radio silence.
I’ll be actively avoiding any future orders shipped through Geodis. If you're a business considering them as a logistics partner, you might want to reconsider — your customers will thank you.
Worst Company ever
Worst Company ever! They lie a lot, waiting for 3 weeks and still didnt get my package. Dont recommend to anybody this bad company! so disorgnised! they lie every day, saying we will deliver today, tomorrow and this since 3 weeks!
Maybe it's time to try something else Geodis, delivering is really not your forte
Came here to write my review, immediately noticed I'm not alone in being utterly failed by Geodis!
Amazon sent an item using this carrier. They were unable to deliver my parcel as they didn't gave the gate code. So, they take a photo and list it on the tracking page, send a notification saying they need more address details... But, I cannot give this info!?
The tracking page states the problem but offers no option to provide the additional info.
The contact email page will not allow the 'send' button to be selected.
I searched for their email online... The message "failed to deliver"
I rang their number - it's 1.35 per minute!!!
.... A month later, there has never been a second delivery attempt (the community entry gate is often open all day, so they can easily access 90% of the time). And, Amazon haven't had it returned to them... So that's it, it's just gone!
Good old Amazon has kindly resent another... Which arrived 2 days later, via UPS, without a hitch.
Sadly, there are many bad delivery companies out there... But, Geodis is something else! The gold standard of utterly useless!
Geodis refusing to deliver items…
Geodis refusing to deliver items because i live in a village with steps and said i must meet them 400 metres away and carry the 20l containers myself. I have been waiting at home all day for the delivery alone with a young chiild and have arranged time off work. The delivery man eventually walks up and then dumps the parcel on top of my plants next to front door.
This company should be dissolved…
This company should be dissolved another example of incompetence in logistics in France. Absolute sh*t show
