Jason W. in sales called 4 times but hasn't called since, but just as Jason W. promised, my Dell xps-9710 is running like new. It is still a little uncomfortable when the geek care tech remote controls my computer desktop, but I haven't had any problems with fraud after 5 months. My only complaint is the premium cost, but worth the cost for worry free computer use.

Geek Care Online Support is a life saver! Their commitment to help me 24/7 does not waiver. They answer all of my questions, nothing is too big or too small. Problems with a virus, technical questions, and fire wall, They resolve it all. Without Geek Support, I would be completely lost. They really know how to save me in my time of tech distress, for a very small cost.

They are most trusted people, They helped me to fix my printer problem.... and Jennifer and james helps me to resolve the issue.

SCAM ALERT!! I am not sure if this is the Geek Care that I was connected to that presented itself as Geek Squad. They took remote access to my computer and said there was a trojan. They asked for my personal information and 900 dollars to fix the problem and provide computer protection. I already had protection from the Geek Squad applications, so I questioned how they did not already have my information and know I had protection. I told the person to get off my computer and they hung up and began doing things very quickly as I turned the computer off.

SCAM!!! Do NOT fall for their LIES! They are pretending to be the Geek Squad… THEY are a SCAM! Misrepresenting and scamming you out of your hard earned money.. please be aware don’t let them on your computer.. I now have a dispute filed with my credit card company.. They wanted my to pay them through PayPal with an e- transfer but I wouldn’t unfortunately I gave my Credit Card for $1,159! As a senior this is quite a hard lesson for me.. While in my computer they sent themselves, from My Email address, a great email saying how happy I was with their service!

I can’t believe this type of illegal activity is allowed to continue!! This is a total scam. They repeatedly tried to access my computer, charged my card without my authorization, and called and text me relentlessly. That is until I text them back and told them I had canceled my accounts and was contacting the police. The calls and text immediately stopped.

This company is a total scam!! I’m lucky I caught it as soon as I did, and used a credit card that canceled the payment and are returning my funds. So scary, stay away!

This is a scam. I didn't send any money. When "Jack" wanted a check, I refused. When he sent me the credit card screen I backed off when I saw that it was a website for Hootzilla. ??? Wonder what they did to my computer.

I was told they part of geek Squad. I am out $1000.00 for 4 years of service Geek Squad said not affiliated them. Something out of India.
my wife contacted Geek Care Billing requesting a refund and to cancel the service. she was told she would have to pay $599.00 for one year service and they will return $310.00 of my $990.00. My question is when I went to Best Buy Geek Squad and answered yes on on geek Squad chat how did I get to Geek Care, a hack into Geek Squad chat? Jennifer said it would be best if she called me and did. she showed me all of these treble things going wrong, and I would have to sign up with her to get it fixed. I said I already had a account with Geek Squad she said this was a new division to handle software issues and it cost extra. I guess at 81 I'm a little slower and was fast talked into giving her my CC number. Don't get cough in this Geek Squad is less expensive $250.00 for the year these guys $599.00.

I attempted to call multiple times, was hung up on twice. The man who kept answering the phones kept telling me I had the wrong number. I was asking who I was calling by mistake and he started to insult me on the phone calling me a not intelligent person. All I was looking for was IT help on for a laptop. I will never be calling back.

An honest & upfront review. I received excellent technician help in repair and updating my computer. Mark & Jerry). They were very patient with this old lady (80). after retiring, I guess I would not be needing computer assistance, boy was I wrong.
After about 3+hours, my computer was repaired and I purchased the 1 year contract.

I spoke with a representative named Michael who said he was Geek Squad with Best Buy which is scamming and fraud. If they are so good why pretend to be something you're not? They took over my computer but I was able to stop them before they did any harm after I called the real Geek Squad with Best Buy. I disconnected them from my laptop and he called me back and said "We got disconnected" I said no we didn't I shut you down because you are a liar. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

If I could give a zero, I would. My father (83) signed up for this and didn’t tell me. They did nothing to fix the issue and argued with me on the phone. Asked for their executive contact list - refused. Asked for their address- refused. Asked for their website (which I later found) - refused. “Tech” argued with me, had kids running around screaming in the background. Finally, checked BBB - never heard of them. Looked on their website - India.

Total scam. Do not give your money to anyone unless they are reputable. If you are older and have not been in the tech world, walk into Best Buy and ask about their services. Do not signup online unless you are absolutely sure of their address and they are BBB listed. Check reviews!!

SCAM ALERT! This is NOT Best Buy Geek Squad, nor is it Best Buy Total Tech.

At the end of the computer "service", they asked me to write a check and scan it to them. That was odd all by itself. But "Jason William" then said that he could not read one of the words in the memo line and asked me to write a 2nd check. Thankfully I did not do so and was able to stop payment on the 1st check.

Totally misled - said they were "Geek Squad". Didn't find out they weren't until after paying for a one-year subscription. They took control of my computer, and I don't know what they did to it, but there is some weird program installed. I'm trying to reach them for help with something and none of their phone numbers work!
DO NOT fall for Geek Care! It's not the same as Geek Squad. I will be calling the real Geek Squad to fix problems caused by Geek Care. Out $300!!

What a Scam. I gave them remote access to my computer, thinking they were Geek Squad. They said they were Geek Squad!! Now I have to change all my passwords and wipe Whatever they added off my computer.

I’m a Canadian and have an account with Geek Squad. This company is called Geek Care. They deliberately led me to believe they were Geek Squad because I asked right up front.
I was just about to hand over my credit card information but something felt off. I called Best Buy Geek Squad and they told me these guys have nothing to do with them.
Geek Squad immediately removed everything they put on my laptop.
When Geek Care called me back to get my cc information, they wanted to argue with me that they fixed my laptop and were a reputable California company.
If they had been honest with me, I wouldn’t be so angry. But they never corrected me when I asked them if they were Geek Squad. Because of that, I have to believe they are scammers trying to get business on the back of Geek Squad’s name.
I am so sorry to hear others fell for their deception.

This was a total scam, I'm Canadian and they sucked me in thinking they were Geek Squad a totally different company. I called the 1-800 number for Geek Squad but Geek Care got the call. My subscription was about to be up with Geek Squad who I thought I was dealing with but turned out to be Geek Care out of India. They sold me a 3 year subscription for $500.00 from them. They provided numbers to call for 24/7 help however no one ever answered. When I discovered the mistake by asking Geek Squad for assistance and they said I didn't have a subscription with them. That is when I
knew there was a misunderstanding When I contacted Geek Care everyone i spoke to about this had a deep indian accent and hard to deal with. Always told get call back never did. Sent numerous emails finally got a response from Geek Care saying I would get a special case refund would take 7 to 10 days that was in early February as of this date March 23 nothing, Called numerous times and always told someone will call me at end of shift but again no call. emailed and never heard from company. I even left a phone number for them to call but nothing. Have no integrety!

My laptop got hacked last July. Unfortunately I fell for the scam and called the supposedly "Microsoft" number, which popped up on my screen. After paying the fee I assumed that everything was fixed. I did not know that they planted a permanent virus, where they had access to all my transactions. My credit card got hacked on a monthly basis, because I pay my bills online. Since I signed up with the Geek Care it has not happened again. I am totally satisfied with their service.
