Wandered into the area at night and it was too late to get out as cars in other lane and behind me, just drove through as didnt need to drop off . Theres no phone number on web site to complain so had no option but to pay .
The configuration of the road layout and signage is poor , seems a little short of bordering on a scam
Terrible service in every single aspect…
Terrible service in every single aspect from the airline TAP Air Portugal representatives at the Gatwick airport (subcontractors and not official TAP Air Portugal). Avoid it at all costs as it's not worth going through all this hassle, as you would be if you use a low-cost airline.

Rail links are shabby to London
Special assistance
I work for “ Options Supported Holidays", and, we frequently use gatwick airport to fly to other countries on holidays. We usually have a minimum of 7 to 12 Clients with learning disabilities taking on their holiday, some for the first time. Special Assistance staff are absolutely brilliant, as this process can be bewildering and stressful for some people. They treat us all with the utmost respect and with minimal fuss escort us gently to where we need to be. Fantastic staff and we seem to see some regularly. One said staff member who goes out of her way to help is a kind lady called Alison Conneely. She has escorted us on many occasions, with great care and always a big smile. We'd like to thankyou Alison and staff for making our journey so smooth and fun

If you are a non-UK or non-EU resident, you will likely have to wait about an hour for visa checks. The last two times I arrived at Gatwick, I waited at least an hour because there were only two officers checking passports, which was very frustrating.

Better than Stanstead but that's nothing to proud about... Be careful at the roundabout that you don't unintentionaly enter the drop-off! Easily done at night with such poor signage. Long Stay car park difficult to find from postcode alone so plan the journey. Also, on paper there are free water fountains near toilets but they always appear broken so it's £3.50 water bottles from WH Scams perhaps complemented by a Pret-a-Fleecer £7.50 sandwich! In the very likely situation of not being able to find a seat to enjoy these, there is plenty of floor space, which at the time of writting, was was still free...
Beware,
Beware,
I book 15 days at the long stay carpark and was provide with a post code by Gatwick parking booking site which took me directly to the passenger drop off zone where I was promptly charged £7 for driving through ( Not even stopping !) Then after the holiday I nearly did the same thing at another drop off zone.
If you ask me the whole place is a trap to rinse as much money out of people as possible.
Poor customer service
Phone in the room to front desk no answer room service no answer operator no answer...why bother having a phone in the room if you can't be bothered to answer it...
Restaurant sells French fries with main foods ..most meals average £40 plus..
Overall if there is anything emergency there is no telephone help at all
I have just come through Stansted airport…
I have just come through Stansted airport and have to say that is the worst experience I have ever had at an airport. For the first time I my life I had to ask for assistance.
When I got to a check-in desk they told me that I would have to wait for an hour or so.I then walked as I would have missed my connection.
On the bus from the plane was a Man who could not walk and the way he and his wife were treated was disgusting, you would need to experience too see how bad it was.
Never again.
Gatwick airport - Joke Airport
Drop off fees £7 and you need to have a £1 coin to borrow a trolley! I had to struggle to carry awkward size bags because I didn't have a pound coin in my pocket despite deciding to pay £7 to be dropped off at the terminal thinking I would get a trolley.
Drop off fees rise to £10 in January! Almost 50% increase - that's either management incompetence in managing costs or pure greed. When will politicians stop this money grab? Remember to pay your fee or its £100 fine - don't bother asking for clemency between NCP and Gatwick the line is, plenty of signs so pay the fine!
Drop off charge
Drop off charge. Another reason to loathe UK and capitalism

Ba wouldn’t allow online check in
Ba wouldn’t allow online check in - so 1 hour queue - then they gave me Isle seat instead of asked for window - then bags get pulled while going through the xray - 10 minutes wait - with no reason shown… it’s embarrassing- most of the world does so much better… that said the lady taking tickets for the plane was lovely
Woeful experience
Woeful experience flying to Belfast this morning from the North Terminal. Security is usually fantastic but this morning was terrible. Then we were bussed to the South Terminal which took at least 10 mins. It's just a rotten way to start the day.
A shitty airport
Bad signage, hardly anyone to speak to, you go floor to floor, hardly any seats, I only saw flight screen on 0 floor, and I thought Heathrow was bad, what a shitty place.
About iparkgatwick parking who is…
About iparkgatwick parking who is authorised by Gatwick airport authority.
Worst parking provider in uk. Avoid this company. The person to whom you call to report of your arrival lie everytime you call and very rude and arrogant. At my first call he said 1 hr then after 1.30 hours I called again he said it’s traffic. Third time he said driver will call you once he is near by and when I got angry and asked him what’s going on give me driver no. So I will ask him how far he is then suddenly the person got angry on me and said why keep calling to me and then in a rude way he said your car will be there in 3 to 4 min. which by now I realised that he is telling me the lie again. Then 4th and 5th time my wife called the number and been told that car is defrosting and will be there in 20 min. So from 6.52am to 9.00am and over 5 calls the only thing we heard is lie. This people are shameless and not ashamed of anything. It was freezing cold this morning and I got 2 kids one of which already had a fever and on medicine before the flight. While waiting for my car I decided to check this company and its review and I wish I should have checked it before booking with this company. And when finally the car arrived at 9.30am to my surprise the car had no sign of ice or ice crystal and it was 95% dry and only had few drops of water on it. I wonder how this company is still authorised to operate as a parking operator. This company and its reviews all of them are negative and still Gatwick airport allowing them as a authorised parking provider such a shame.
EXCHANGE RATES 40% COMMISSION!!!!!(No commission?)
Sorry but Gatwick is an unmitigating champion of holding the naive traveller to ransom. They have no compunction whatsoever in NOT appropriating extortionate exchange rates......16/11/25
£400 turned into only £240 worth of Morroccan Diahrams.
No SHAME just GAIN
"YOUR" London Airport.......YEAH RIGHT......
Me and my mum both disabled with…
Me and my mum both disabled with medical conditions was taken of the plane put in area of the airport with not disabled toilets freezing cold. For over a hour. Special assistance suggesting me and my poor mum whos 79 years who has copd and dementia to go up in the lift walk along this corridor then another corridor to go to the toilet. No wheelchairs available and not even an offer from the special assistance man to find a wheelchair. Just excuses that it's nothing to do with him. Feel like we were an inconvenience to them.
Very bad signage on the exit from long…
Very bad signage on the exit from long stay car parks directs you through the drop off zone. This forces you to pay an extra fee - and because the signs there state a charge for drop off, it does not appear that you have to pay if you are merely exiting from the long stay car park. They then charge you £60 for 45 seconds of driving.
Rip off scam merchants!!!
