The most terrible management- stay away from there

The most terrible management. They are dishonest. Never trust the people who works for Garton Jones in Chelsea Bridge.
They breached the privacy during my tenancy and they entered to my flat without any authorisation and took my keys.
They took no accountability and now they are not returning my deposit for no reasons.
They already deleted my previous review.
They are so unethical and bunch of liers.
December period in their busy time and partying in Spain in the owner of business villa and they have no time to reply your urgent requests.Awful team- Charlotte mentioned no one likes Suskia in their team and they put the blame on her during the time my key was missing.
Just avoid these people. They also removed my previous review and blocked me.

Do not ever work with these scammers!

Now they blocked my google review so I decided to post everything on a new YouTube account, you can find the videos if you write Garton Jones Lambeth.

Our experience with Garton Jones has been a nightmare.

At first we were misled by Abigail when we rented the flat in mid Feb and it is now almost mid April and we are still asking them to do their job, which is to fix the problems that should have been fixed before we moved to the flat.

The treatment I have received from this office is not just unprofessional but it is also sexist and racist. I would not recommend any non-English person to rent or buy a flat through Garton Jones because it is very likely will be scammed and being disrespected after they make the deal.

Even though my husband told them that I should be included in emails, they still pretend like I do not exist. I genuinely had enough of these people and I am angry, and only when I am angry they take slight action. But with my husband, because he is kind, they do not even reply to his emails and only when they know that I am angry they reply to us by pretending like I do not exist, this is their manipulation method.

Constantly gaslighting us about the problems and pretending like our problems are fake is what they are good at. At first when we first moved to the flat, we kept telling Vanessa that the oven was clearly broken and she insisted that it was not even though the top of the oven was. At first Abigail pretended like she was going to help us but then we were sent to Vanessa and after 2 weeks, all our problems were forwarded to Alison.

In our 3rd week the oven was fixed but because they use such a crappy company to fix things, the contractor left the oven on for after fixing it. Whenever they bring any contractor each person was worse than the previous.

At first they tried to fix 25 year old freezer and pretended like it was new. They have sent 3 contractors and it took 7 weeks for a freezer to be fixed, at first they even brought a fridge instead of a freezer. It is genuinely ridiculous that they are trying to promote themselves as luxury real estate where they are just cheap racist sales people and no understanding of how to act professionally.

1st of April - Would not recommend anyone to rent through Lambeth Garton Jones. We moved in mid Feb and still no result for most of our complaints. For example the freezer is broken and needs to be replaced, emailing and calling every single day is not going to help because of the level unprofessionalism is beyond what we have ever experienced. We emailed today and because we already know that we will not receive a reply - we had to call and still not action taken. Guess what, we probably will need to call them again tomorrow, what a surprise. I will be posting about our experience in every detail here and on YouTube very soon. The real estate agency is terrible, and we don’t want to rent anymore—this agency will turn us into homeowners very soon.

Unfair treatment to tenant. Stay away!!!

Poor service by Garton Jones . The staff always take the side of the landlord and do not serve as a honest mediator between client and landlord.

Extremely unprofessional and highly concerning experience with Garton Jones (Chelsea Bridge Wharf branch).

I was initially told I had passed referencing and was ready to proceed, even agreeing to pay 6 months’ rent in advance. Suddenly, without any valid explanation, I was told I had “failed referencing.”

Neither Goodlord nor Garton Jones have provided any clear reason for this decision. All information I submitted was accurate from the start.

Most concerning is that my holding deposit is being withheld, with claims it may be passed to the landlord. This raises serious questions about compliance with UK tenant protection laws.

This situation appears unfair, non-transparent, and potentially unlawful. I am currently considering formal legal action.

Warning to others: proceed with extreme caution.

Superb Agent Within the Lettings Industry

Garton Jones have been working with our company TDS for several years. As a service provider to the industry around deposit protection, we have found Garton Jones to be incredibly diligent and accepting of changes in the industry. They have acted fairly for both Landlord and Tenants and are in a place to make a different to the residential industry.

Prompt and efficient service

Venice is extremely efficient. I'm very grateful that she has been my point of contact at Garton Jones for many years. I know that whatever needs doing in our apartment will be dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner. Thank you so much for making letting the apartment easier.

Good vibes, good service

I have been working with Garton Jones to rent my flat for 15 years. First of all I like the vibes of the office. They are kind, easy, good willed and helpful. Have seen many property managers over the times and appreciated almost all. I currently work with Venice Wallace who is a prompt, hard working kind lady and Ramesh the very elaborate accountant. The marketing team works quite agressively to bring you a good offer and surely hit the target. Garton Jones as a company outstanding with its competitive prices also has progressed a lot in years in terms of firm contracting and service quality.

Excellent experience

I have had multiple dealings with Garton Jones over the course of the last 17 years, the team has always been pleasant, professional, and easy to deal with. Most recently I have begun dealing with Paul Reville-Auchie who has been nothing short of exceptional in his professionalism, knowledge, and most importantly the humanity and personal touch he uniquely brings to his role. I have dealt with many estate agents in London over the years, but can confidently say that Paul rises to the top and I feel very comfortable in recommending him to all my friends and loved ones. Excellent all round professional.

What a wonderful estate agent

What a wonderful estate agent: I am so grateful to Charlotte and all the team of G-J so helpful, so kind and providing an efficient and stress free service.
Charlotte has been so attentive, super speed and professional, I feel relaxed and supported for any issue I could have: I still remember how helpful she has been during Covid period: since I couldn’t be there, she supported and helped solve any problem for me: what a great and amazing person, very grateful!
