AVOID! AVOID!
Very rude, ordered a garage door springs, they didn’t fit. Rang twice for a refund. When rang up after 3 weeks since I had returned the springs to get my money back. He hung up saying why do people order stuff and then return items???Customer service absolutely crap. They have fake reviews on their website.

I did not need to interact with staff at garagedoor-spares as my order went without a hitch. Placed the order on Sunday, received the parts on Tuesday, I could not have been happier with the service and product. However, that is not all, comparing the prices with other companies garagedoor-spares was very competitive.

Ordered an item which needed returning. After returning the item several attempts were made by Royal Mail as the owner “was not in”. Eventually receive the notification that the item had been received and now it’s been over a month and I’ve had no refund!!! £60 later and I’m still no closer to getting my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I phoned and email several times and have received no response.

All seemed well till there was a problem with the delivery. Then abusive and rude had to process refund through paypal. Avoid, better companies out there.

Sent wrong part but charged for more expensive part. After repeated calls that went to voice mail eventually made contact & told correct part would be sent with stamped addressed envelope. Two weeks passed and after finding alternative number made contact again, when he is rude,continually talking over me, and cuts me off. Same in the second call and told to send in email. Have now had 3 phone calls and sent 3 emails with no resolution.
Thoroughly unpleasant experience & recommend avoiding.
Eventually ordered the part elsewhere and fitted within 48 hours.

Don’t deal with this company. The most obnoxious, rudest man that I’ve ever come across in a company.

After two weeks of waiting for an item I contacted them to find out when it would be delivered. I was told abruptly it was out of stock and that I owed them money for postage. The website had calculated the postage cost, therefore if this was incorrect they should fix their website or at the very least have informed me.

I then asked to cancel the order if it was out of stock to then be told in capital letters.

How some people run a business shocks me. I am amazed the man still has a business.

After initial order / payment mix up, I found Richard very helpful and item arrive next day. Fitting instructions supplied. Recommended!

Ordered and paid online, they sent an order confirmation, but parts did not arrive and I got worried. I wanted to call them and check, but the link to their website that was given in the confirmation email took me to a completely different company, two phone numbers were disconnected, on the third one nobody was unavailable.
The part did arrive, although much later than I expected it. I had paid extra for 1st class.
Having been once the victim of fraud the weird link and the disconnected phone numbers scared the heck out of me. Updating the info given in the confirmation email would definitely help the customer experience.

The website appears to be pretty good, so I placed my order. When the order was delivered several items were missing. I phoned to report this, spoke to Richard, and received a shouting tirade of abuse followed by him hanging up. Shortly afterwards he phoned me back, refused to listen to a thing I had to say, shouted over me and hung up again. I sent a polite email, which was ignored. I sent another email requesting a response or I would escalate to a PayPal dispute, it was also ignored. PayPal have now resolved the dispute in my favour and credited my account with a full refund. SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TIME, EFFORT AND DISAPPOINTMENT - DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Called to see if they could supply a spare part and got possibly the rudest man I've sever spoken to on the phone. He wouldn't let me finish a single sentence and then ended up hanging up! Their website boasts of friendly customer service but that certainly wasn't my experience!

Wish I'd read these reviews before I tried to deal with him. Didn't answer my enquiry, directed me to website when I repeated the question he hung up on me. He also hung up on me a second time when I rang back to complain. Ignorant and arrogant!

Arrogant, rude unhelpful. If I could leave less than one star I would.

Asked for help today as per his website. Customer service skills are SUB ZERO He huffed puffed sighed and could not be bothered to help, even hung up on me.

I called him asking for advice which part I need- he send me on his website for wrong item. When I tried explain him that he just hang up.

Worste customer services I have ever experienced. Rude rude rude!! Avoid at all costs. If anything goes wrong don't expect to recieve any customer services. How this person is still in business I never know.

Order arrived late and damaged and when I called, the owner swore at me and told me to shut up! After much asking I got a refund for my goods. I have since learned that the owner is called Richard Sleightholme, quite conveniently the only author of a 5 star review for this business! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We ordered and got a confirmation of order, saying we would be informed when the spare was shipped. After that there was no communication, despite my repeated attempts to contact the company, which seems to be one of a number of companies run by Richard Straightholme. When I did manage to speak to him, he asked which website I had ordered from. The part didn't arrive, and he told me that FedEx tried to deliver it, we were out and they left a card. We were definitely in and they left no card. I tried to arrange redelivery and he wanted to charge me again for that. I then asked for my money back, he said he would return the money for the part minus the cost of delivery, and hung up on me. This has wasted two weeks and cost me £8, still no part. Dreadful, avoid,
