We just bought our first house and we were blown away by our solicitor and legal assistants, Amy Courtney, Lauren Maton and Sarah Mowlem. Massively professional at all times, kept us up to date and were never frustrated by my unending questions. Always willing to chat things through. I always felt they had our best interests at heart and really made sure all aspects of our legal process were done properly and would benefit us in the long term. I cannot recommend enough!

I used Gales Solicitors to assist with my financial remedy during divorce proceedings and cannot recommend them highly enough. Sasha, my primary contact, went above and beyond at every stage. Having dealt previously with various legal professionals throughout the years. I have to say that Gales Solicitors were a breath of fresh air. Both Matthew Moore and subsequently James Hunter provided their expertise on my contractual dispute. Professional and extremely courteous. James grasped my issue immediately and provided the sound professional advice that I required to take the matter further. They provided information over and above the call of duty without quibble. Therefore I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gales Solicitors to anyone looking for friendly, highly professional legal experts. If the situation arises I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I have been dealing with the Tuckton branch and still waiting 17 weeks later for the exchange of contracts. I contact regularly and are constantly fobbed off by staff. Even told to chase information myself , paid £500 to hurry process and still waiting. Very rude staff and so disappointed

Absolutely would not recommend Galea conveyancing solicitors. They are acting on behalf of our seller and they haven’t done anything to progress the sale for over a month when the offer was accepted. They made excuses they had lots of colleges off sick hence no one was able to start the conveyancing process for almost 6 weeks. We are now into month 5 of a straight forward no chain purchase and we are not close to completion. Ros Keenan who deals with the sale is incompetent and dishonest. He would not respond or act upon our solicitors enquiries and when chased several times he would say this is the first time he is being made aware of the enquiry even though our solicitor can provide evidence this is not the case. He makes false statements to his client and misleads with incorrect advice.
His story line as to why he can’t provide a particular document changes every day and we are now at the point of disparity and disbelief that someone would pay for his disservice. He keeps feeding us promises that he will provide what’s required within 3 hours, then allegedly next day, then he would say the bank has posted the document with special delivery, when the document is allegedly suppose to arrive, he says to our solicitor that due to special circumstances it hasn’t arrived and so on. I’ve red some positive reviews about this solicitors, but when I did a little research it looks like most decent conveyancing solicitors who used to work for them have left the business. Would NOT recommend them to anyone!!!
