Save Your $199. This Platform Is a Trap.

I listed my furnished property on Furnished Finder and paid $199 for what they promise is access to a pool of qualified tenants. The result? Zero inquiries. Not one. Not a single message, view notification, or lead over the entire listing period.
But the real problem isn't the dead listing — it's what happened after. I cancelled my subscription and was charged again anyway. That's not a billing error, that's predatory. When a company makes it easy to charge you and nearly impossible to make it stop, you have to call it what it is: a scam.
Furnished Finder's business model seems to depend on landlords paying up front with the hope of results that never materialize, then getting hit again on the back end when cancellation doesn't actually stick. They take your money twice and deliver nothing in between.
To every landlord reading this before signing up: do not do it. There are free and far more effective ways to reach tenants — Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, even just a sign in the window. Don't let Furnished Finder collect $199 (or more) from you for the privilege of being ignored.
I'm disputing the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and encourage anyone else in this situation to do the same.
Landlords, you've been warned.

Do NOT use Furnished Finder

I am genuinely someone that has been looking for a place to stay for an extended period of time on Furnished Finder. My wife is a profresional athelete, and we have been looking to semi-permanently move to another state. Wiht countless intereactions, and even after having to send my wife's contract to a "landlord" we were getting denied or left unresponded to. I am not quite sure the reason, but in several occasional, we got to the same point with the landlord, and they would just stop replying. I particularly want to call out DDG Rentals LLC because I believe they are sketchy, in that they asked for my wife's contract, sent us the lease, we executed the lease, and they never responded after. I feel like we are blessed that things did not work out with Furnished Finder, because it seems like these landlords are a nightmare.

This website is a scam - Terrible customer service

This website is a scam. Buyer beware.
All of the complaints in the reviews here are 100% accurate.
The system does not work effectively and has multiple glitches. The most notable glitch was how they reactivated my rented listing and then auto renewed my membership.
On the day of renewal when I saw the $200 charged to my account, I reached out to them and they very rudely dismissed my request for refund citing the Refund Policy and 365 day policy. They take no accountability for the error in their system.
The majority of leads that I received were also scammers with criminal backgrounds not legitimate leads. I suggest filing complaints in the BBB. Terrible website and service.

Beware if your property is well above $3200 a month

If your property rents well above $3,200/month, as mine does, be aware you may receive unqualified leads that do not match your pricing.

Before signing up with Furnished Finder, I specifically contacted them to confirm I would NOT get inquiries from lower-budget renters, since this was a major problem for me when I used the platform several years ago.

At that time, they had a maximum search tier of $3,200+, so anyone in that range would be sent to me as a lead, even though none of them could actually afford my property.

My call was specifically about that issue, and I was given an explanation about improved search options that led me to believe this would no longer be an issue.

It IS still an issue.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve received several “leads,” but every single one has been unqualified. All of them are from people in the highest budget tier ($3,200+), with budgets typically around $3,200–$4,200, which is far below my pricing.

Support later confirmed that their “Housing Requests” system still uses a $3,200+ cap and sends those leads out to anyone who matches. Apparently my property “matches,” and once again I find myself wasting time on every lead they send because of this $3,200 tier cap.

They refused a refund and said the original information about being able to search at higher price ranges was “technically accurate.”

Wow.

Forced Auto Renewal and Refusal to Refund

This is regarding a transaction that took place on 4/14/2026. I did not select the "auto-renewal" option in my account. Furnished Finders defaulted that selection and auto charged me for a renewal that I didn't request or want. I called the minute I received the email this morning that I was charged $199. I called between 9:13 and 9:25 AM CT on 4/14/2026. The agent was not good and at first said she would help me and apologized. And then she showed me how to turn off the auto renewal, which I turned off. I informed her that I never turned it on myself. She then said she cannot refund me. I asked to speak to a manager and she wouldn't connect me - saying it will be a waste of time. I told her this is fraud and that I did not request a renewal and I don't want a renewal. She refused to refund me and said that they will dispute my fraud claim with the bank because I agreed to the terms and conditions - which I did not again select auto renewal. They defaulted to it to retain me as a customer by force. I feel scammed and robbed as a customer. I would like a full refund of the $199. This is predatory behavior by the business. I will also be leaving a bad review on other platforms.

Unfair Renewal Practices and Poor Customer Support

We had a disappointing experience with Furnished Finders. Months ago, we turned off our listing since we were planning a move. We assumed that would stop renewal, much like other platforms. Unfortunately, the renewal notification for our 'unlisted' listing went to spam while we were in a hectic time—we were in the middle of moving and also dealing with elderly parents. The day we canceled was the same day they renewed it.

When we reached out to discuss a refund, customer service was very dismissive, repeatedly telling us to read the fine print. We couldn’t escalate to anyone helpful. This practice feels extremely unfair, especially given that the listing had already been turned off and we made a good-faith effort to cancel.

We understand that mistakes can happen, and we’ve taken responsibility in the past when we’ve overlooked something. However, this situation feels different—more like a technicality being used in a way that is not transparent or customer-friendly.

We felt unheard, and frankly, the situation felt unreasonable. We’d caution others to be very careful with their policies.

Caution. Recurring fees

We rented out our home on Furnished Finder to a wonderful tenant last summer. We had a very good impression of the company. The treatment I received today on the phone changed my mind.

I get a huge number of emails from the company. I happened to read it. “Your membership fee will recur soon." I went to the site and did what I thought I needed to do, which was go inactive.
Unfortunately, the recurrence was not "soon" but immediately. The same day I got the notice, it was renewed.

Calling customer service to get a refund was a waste of time. All the phone rep would do was repeat the fact that they wouldn't give me a refund. I was refused the chance to appeal. I wasn’t allowed to speak to a supervisor.

Use extreme caution when you use this service. Put a reminder in your calendar when the fee recurs. Do not expect support from corporate.

Worst site for temporary housing

This is the worst website for temporary housing I have ever experienced. I messaged numerous landlord property owners who showed their listings as available for a one month rental. 90% did not respond at all. The only one who would actually communicate would not clarify what the process is for actually renting the place. When I filled out the request form anyway and sent it to him with a note he completely went AWOL. He can keep his damn place, I went over to Airbnb and easily rented a better house in five minutes and got instant communication without the fishiness of paying thousands of dollars to rent a house for a month from a unverified stranger on furnished finders. The whole process was a waste of 10 to 12 hours and I will never use this pathetic site again. I can’t imagine going through some kind of screening process and filling out some kind of bogus lease with some unvetted unprofessional individual who is free to commit fraud. Pay a deposit and cleaning fee on top of this pathetic attitude?

This Company Furnishfinder is a SCAM

This Company Furnishfinder is a SCAM. You will not make money with them. They will automatically renew and will not refund even when you have never received 1 tenant for a whole year. I never agreed to automatic renewal. Very scamy. Google this company and go in Facebook groups, you will find allot of this same behavior. They have stolen from allot of owners who already are struggling. All the customer service agents are in another country. Contact your credit card and dispute the renewal charges that you did not consent to. I also know someone who had a tenant who is a scammer who came through furnished finder. He paid 1 month then stopped. She is 80. Furnished finder does not help with eviction. He has lived in her property over 6 months now because the courts are slow in Chicago. Beware of this fraudulent company and avoid them at all cost.

My Experience with Furnished Finders

My Experience with Furnished Finders

I recently had to stay in furnished rentals long term. I found them on Furnished Finders. One was great. The second one, the landlord charged an undisclosed cleaning fee (after the fact with no documentation or proof = illegal according to Arizona statutes) and withheld my Deposit. It was only $150, but it's the principal, of course. I paid this landlord $6300 for three months in a crappy 2/1 apartment in a bad neighborhood! But that wasn't enough for them!

I reached out to FF, who placated me while doing nothing (they did reach out to the landlord allegedly). They eventually told me to take the landlord to court. Obviously I don't have the time.

Just a warning before you use or recommend FF as I did. I'll be sticking with Airbnb.

MISLEADING COMMUNICAITON

MISLEADING COMMUNICAITON
I have used Furnished Finder for several years and have recently decided t remove my home from the rental market. This coincided with the expiration of my subscription, which was good timing. I received MULTIPLE EMAILS from Furnished Finder stating that if I did not renew/pay my subscription would "expire." As any reasonable person would, I took this at face value and decided I would let my subscription expire. Several days later I was informed that my credit card was charged for renewal. I have appealed this with Furnished Finder and been denied. Their communication is FRAUDULENTLY MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE.

BEWARE

BEWARE: If you don't realize you are on auto renew and they renew they will not reimburse you for any of it. It's only a good service if you do not also rent on VRBO or Airbnb as there's no way to accommodate these 2 week to months, bookings.

It's a landlord I found a problematic

It's a landlord I found a problematic. I can't log on what I want to change my email address and I couldn't update anything. I just couldn't simply couldn't log on. I couldn't do any account validation or verification or changes every time I try to log on as a landlord to try to shove me into the tenant category and start a whole new Tennant process unfortunately, I deleted most of the messages I got they were forwarded to me and I couldn't logon to access them afterwards, which I thought would be very easy to do so I spent way more money for this service and they deserve. It's a poorly run. Manage administered AI Chatbot mess, vigorous hand gestures to these people. I hate them. I despise them. It's a giant poke in the eye, the way they treat people. I think a simple craigslist ad is better.

They come up with all sorts of excuses…

They come up with all sorts of excuses not to post negative reviews against the property because they will lose clients. So many terrible landlords on this platform. I encourage attorneys to look into the practice of this website and see if there is an option for a class action lawsuit.
