I entered into a contract with Fulton…

I entered into a contract with Fulton Books after repeated verbal promises that I would receive full royalties and transparent reporting. After signing, the terms were changed and a hidden clause was used to deny me standard royalties. Despite paying $6,235 and having my book reach #3,131 overall on Amazon in February 2025, I have received zero royalties to date.

Their communication has been evasive and inconsistent. Authors are enticed through promises that do not align with the contract in practice, and the business model appears designed to profit from upfront author fees while withholding royalties. I urge other authors to carefully review their practices and avoid working with this company.

I've had to contact BBB, FTC, FBI IC3, DOJ...

Have they changed hands?

Published my second book Miami Moon with them, all went according to plan, could go on their website and enter the author portal and track sales and residuals, went on there Jan 2023 and could not log in. Called them and they said the next residual report would be out in March 2023, nothing doing. No report, received a letter stating that I had to pay $96 dollars for two years so I could continue on their website, sent that in and still no dice. Saw their ad on Facebook and wrote on there about my issues, they answered on FB asking for my email (which they had already and they would get back to me. 7 days have passed no contact. Was going to do my third book with them but seriously doubt it at this point. Update, filed a complaint with BBB, they responded that their customer service team would be in touch to resolve this issue, been a month so far and no contact from them.
