I found fudge cycles to be professional …

I found fudge cycles to be professional and very helpful however my issue is with the courier service used. When the item did not arrive on the expected day I logged on to the tracking service. This gave me a 'Held in depot' 'Address problem - insufficient address'. The address given is the same for all post that arrives at this address by post. On phoning GLS Ireland and holding for quite some time I was informed that they needed a phone number all of which was provided when the online purchase was made. Now I'm well aware that when links are added to lines of communication errors can occur but what has annoyed me in this instance is that if you put the address into google maps it pinpoints it precisely. Surely a courier company is aware of this tool? Given that this issues arose yesterday was was I not informed by mail? Again Fudge were great Parcel Force / GLS have disappointed.

Hi, Thanks for your review , Shame its a 2 star review for fudges as the review is for Fudges not parcel force. I know we use them and try to use the best couriers around but none of them are perfect. Sorry for the issue with parcelforce I will look into this .

Moulton spare parts ex stock - great

Fudge's stocks many Moulton spare parts, and lists them online clearly. I queried the automatically generated freight charge on my initial attempt at ordering and this was speedily adjusted, I ordered, and arrival could hardly have been more rapid, just a few days all the way to me in New Zealand.

Delighted with the bike and the service

I was looking for a Dahon Speed UNO 2016 model which was proving difficult till I found one on Fudges website. A quick phone call to a very knowledgable helpful man at Fudges confirmed that they did have the 2016 model which I duly ordered and paid for with PayPal and the bike was with me in three days.
The service and the price was excellent and I can highly recommend them and will buy from them again.

Nice product & efficient delivery

I ordered a Moulton TSR rear luggage carrier & tour bag. They are well designed & with great quality. I want to use them together with Klickfix Vario Rack to carry all my touring stuffs.

Great first time.

Easy to find what I wanted (Moulton rear bag for TSR) & delivered earlier than expected. Would recommend shop. First / only experience so can't give 5/5 yet.

More than good enough.

I've been buying my bikes from fudges on the Harrow road for at least 10 years now, and I'm on my 4th one now.
Apart from buying, I've always had them serviced there as well, and Leon and Gavin have always been more than good enough.
Thorough, friendly, competent, and always willing to fix the little things, that leave me feeling my bike is in good hands, and that I'm mechanically safe, and ready to go.
Happy days.

Great quality fast folding bike at a good price, honest.

A year ago I spent a month or so looking for a decent replacement for my folding bike. I searched round here (Gibralar/Cadiz province in Spain): at Decathlon, local bike shops and online.

At the time there was a shortage of decent bikes and Fudges where one of the few places to show stock. In the end I bought a 2015 Dahon Vitesse D8 from them. Advised it was the best "bang for buck" of their folding bikes. I was not disappointed.

Excellent price - including delivery to mainland Spain - beat anything available round here. (Not a huge choice round here, mind.)

I'd worn out two lesser bikes in previous couple of years but this Dahon bike is a well built quality ride that will, with a bit of care, put up with me for a good couple of years yet. Main materials and components are all excellent.

*Speed*
I've heard some say it's not fast enough downhill (big lad in a hilly area), the gears are perfect for going quick on the flat -- this one's second-fastest in Gib ;) -- and at the low end the gears are good for a little bit of hill climbing in the village too.

Braking is excellent, gear system is a real treat and once you get the hang of the folding mech it's a doddle. (Allow yourself a couple of days!)

Love it.

*Maintenance*
* Standard tightening-up of cables needed after a couple of weeks.
* I've worn through one set of brake pads - replaced easily.
* The locking system for the handlebar post needs tightening occasionally

*Size*
Without the rack it's small enough to fit vertically in the ridiculously tiny boot of a Citroen C2. Now it's comfortably snug in a Fiat Grande Punto boot. One thing I noticed was that I need to remove the seat on its post (rather than slide it down) to fit in these smaller cars. Not an issue.

One missing feature is the lack of any scale on the seat post. As I pulI the seat out to store the bike I've attached a hose clip to mark the correct height. Works a treat.

Thank you!
