Manchester team( Oliver and Saffron

I have dealt firstly Saffron Montgomery and Oliver Oakes. The way they quickly responded to my request and response from them was second to none. I work in a fast paced law firm and we require quick responses from the third parties we deal with. I cannot recommend them enough quick and professional service from the Manchester team.

By the end of the week. But which week?

Been waiting for money due for a year. Its actually hilarious how many times we have been told the money will be with us by the end of the week for it to then get to the end of the week and no money arrive. Then when chased they tell us by the end of the week because of another made up reason. If you are ever in need of an excuse to not do something, ask FRP Advisory.

Absolutely disgusting service from FRP…

Absolutely disgusting service from FRP advisory. Years of waiting for a resolution only to receive an very short email with the most basic response regarding a very high value transaction that went wrong. It took 3 months for them to reply to this email and the response was the laziest and most infuriating I have ever received. A flippant comment on an issue that caused our business to almost fold. Disgusting.
They did absolutely nothing for the small firms and individuals involved in this case and we couldn’t feel more let down.

I would like to give no stars.

I would like to give no stars.
FRP are administrators so say dealing with Safe hands funeral plan that stole everyones money.
Thing is us plan holders, over 40k, will remain out of pocket while FRP get millions out of the plan holders money, for the supposed work they have done since 2022 towards this.
Court cases keep getting adjourned. Get one email informing of this. No other contact.
I feel this company is another scam. If you have a choice, we didn't we were just given the name, do not use them

Sent them loads of email

Sent them loads of email, did not get a reply to one of them. A company that they took over and my assets in which they claimed belonged to the company. Still not resolved, as they will refuse to reply to my phone calls and emails.

Company directors, please read this

I was an executive in a company that sadly went insolvent. We met with a representative from FRP, who gave a great sales pitch. Sadly once the insolvency began, the nightmare also began.

They've consistenly given different answers on basic questions depending on who is asking. They've sent threatening letters to employees. They chase for information they've already received, while ignoring repeated requests for information from distressed former employees. They managed to botch the government process so employees couldn't access their entitlements.

I literally could not imagine a worse experience, all at a time when employees were feeling extremely stressed and bewildered.

Insolvency is so difficult. If you feel any sense of obligation to your former employees, don't go anywhere near FRP.

I was a company executive, not a director, but I'm still deeply embarassed to have been part of the process of selecting FRP.

Unable to contact

If you could give zero stars on trust pilot, I would.

FRP have erroneously set a debt collector on my family. The debt collector is trying to collect a debt on behalf of an energy company that we are not customers of. We were customers, but completed our contact with them many months before their collapse. The FRP appointed debt collector has been threatening us with doorstep action and harassing us for the debt, but are unwilling to reply to texts, calls and emails. Furthermore, we’ve tried contacting FRP for months using the email address they provided, no response. Calling the phone number provided, we get told to use the email address that no one is evidently monitoring.

FRP might have even got 1 star if they had bothered to reply to even one of our emails on the last 12 weeks.

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague - absolutely the most impossible people to deal with. You get the impression that they are actively working against you, when you would expect them to be helping with you. They are rude, unhelpful, and I would avoid using them at all costs.

I would not recommend this company at…

I would not recommend this company at all.
They sent me lots of forms to fill in to explain why Asquith - the company who they are acting for as insolvency partner owe me money.
Then they told me that there are not the funds available to pay me back the £55 which I was owed when Asquith went bankcrupt.
It seems to me clear that they had absolutely NO intention of paying me back this debt in the first place.
DO NOT TRUST FRP!
They have done nothing but waste my time and make excuses!

Awaiting response from FRP advisory
I have received an email asking me to pay a bill for an address I have never lived at. I tried to call them and unfortunately couldn’t get hold of them. I have sent emails with no response. Does anyone know how to get hold of anyone?

FRP Advisory debt collection

Barret Smith and Brown, the debt collection agency appointed by FRP Advisory, sent me an email demanding £119 for money apparently outstanding from an electricity account that I ended nearly two years ago but without any proof or explanation whatsoever.
Two emails sent to them (BSB) requesting details have gone unanswered as has the telephone message I left after holding the line for 30 minutes.
I have received nothing from FRP Advisory supporting this claim in the 18 months since my contract ended and yet they've set the debt collectors on me!!
It's shocking that a company so bad can be allowed to actually operate in this particular field without regulators !!

Unprofessional

Unprofessional, ignore phone calls, ignore emails, would rather spend time sending threatening letters, rather than discussing professionally the issues facing,

They are acting for a company I used to work for, who owe me wages, and personal expenses, and want a £50 quid laptop back and cheap phone, which don’t belong to the company, as they where never purchased in the previous novation of contracts, they were technically still on hire from previous, instead issue letters threatening legal action to recover, and when they finally took a call and asked to prove ownership before they were released, they can’t do it, so they are intending to recover someone else’s hired property to a company, to sell on as asset to pay someone else’s fees,

Avoid at all costs,

Great job!

Nearly a year ago I discovered that I had overpaid our previous gas/electricity supplier. To cut a long story short, I ended up no-where in getting to speak to the right person or actually any person who could deal with the issue. I then contacted Allan Kelly (joint administrator for Together Energy) as a last resort. Allan replied within 1 hour. Allan has been upfront/honest and said all along that it would take time to get the money back, but he (and his team) has for sure helped me to get back the money owed. I have had regular updates from Allan over the last few months. Yesterday I received a cheque for £3590 (I don't think this would have happened without Allan's and team's help). A big thank you to Allan & team.
