Frome Valley was recommended to me by a friend, based on their ability to plan space usage. Their brilliant work achieved my goals: moving laundry to an adjacent bathroom, better organising kitchen storage in a flat kitchen. During the work, I made changes. They gave me exactly what I wanted, reused existing cupboard doors, created a new butcher block work top. Work finished a day early, exactly during the two week plan. All was done accommodating the caring schedule for my homebound husband. Perfection!

We asked Frome Valley Kitchens to design our new kitchen for us and fully fit out with new appliances and all new electrics including under cupboards LED lights.
The designer Michael fitted in all our requirements in our small kitchen layout and we were amazed when Michael showed us the CAD drawing which included our wish list and more!. (We were extremely pleased with what was included in our small floorspace!)
The workmanship by their fitters(Alan & others) and the pride they took in their work to ensure all the small details were finished off to an excellent standard was exceptional. The aftercare service with their project manager Elliot was great to see and even the smallest of items were no trouble to discuss suggestions or any alternatives that needed to be done.

I needed a complete remodelling of my bathroom. I was provided with an excellent service from start to finish. Appointments were kept on time, I was fully involved with the design process and the end result was just what I wanted. Quality of workmanship is superb and I have had no issues with any of it. We required a wide range of re-modelling work on our apartment in Swanage and asked Frome Valley Kitchens to quote. They provided a comprehensive plan, with indicative drawings for the kitchen, shower room, toilet and for building works and flooring to the bedroom and sitting room. A visit to their showrooms allowed us to finalise the details for all the works.

Site visits confirmed the details and a comprehensive project plan with dates and names was issued. Michael handled all of our original questions efficiently and flexibly, whilst the project manager, Eliot, was on hand to resolve any technical issues.

The work, including some variations we requested, was completed within the agreed time and the workmanship and materials were first class.

We were surprised that they require a 25% deposit on placing the order and the balance paid upon starting the project. As company policy they did provide us with an insurance policy, in case something went wrong, and having had the total payment in advance in no way made them less responsive when small items required attention after the project had concluded.

In summary, based on our experience, I would recommend Frome Valley Kitchens to provide a comprehensive design and installation service for kitchens and bathrooms.

Kitchen installed in May 2021, the service provided by the team from Frome Valley Kitchens was very good from start to finish. There were issues with appliances we had chosen not being available due to supply shortages, but alternatives were suggested. The sub-contractors (Ian the Carpenter, Plumbers, Plasterer, and the Electricians) working with the team were excellent, polite and courteous. The only issue we had was the electrician put the sockets in the wrong place. However Sandra and Elliot went out out there way to make sure the errors were resolved, and repairs to the newly plastered walls made good.
Would definitely recommend them.

FVK renovated our kitchen, bathroom and en-suite. They proved to be very professional in all aspects of design and implementation and took pride in their workmanship. They were also very approachable and easy to communicate with.

When we bought the apartment in Dorchester we needed a lot of work in the bedroom, 2 bathrooms and the kitchen with all new appliances, which Frome Valley supplied.. Frome Valley Kitchens undertook the whole project from day 1. At the time we lived on Dartmoor and were moving to Dorchester so we could not oversee the work. But throughout the project we never needed to question any of the work.

All the design work was provided by Frome Valley. From the design stage they provided a complete turnkey operation for the whole apartment. We also included all the flooring (carpets). Never once was there a question concerning reliability, timing, cost or quality.

We are sure that every customer that uses Frome Valley will quickly find that the work is undertaken efficiently, cost effectively and reliably. For us they had to undertake the work to a very tight schedule and it was achieved. There was no stress for us and the end result is superb. It is much admired by our friends. We have recommended them to a number of other friends and they are all delighted with their results.

It is such a pleasure when you appoint a contractor that knows what they are doing and have the professional skill to achieve what you are seeking.

Since this initial work, Frome Valley have completely rebuilt the kitchen. The new kitchen needed to be easy to work in and avoid difficulty in reaching items in cupboards. Their design and knowledge meant that each cupboard has drop down storage unit shelving. The under worktop cupboards have easy to use slide out units. The only items retained from the original kitchen were the appliances which were new when we moved in just over 2 years ago.

Their work and attention to detail is of the highest quality. They are fastidious about measurements so mistakes are avoided at the planning stage.

We have no hesitation in recommending Frome Valley Kitchens to anybody. This is the pleasure of dealing with a family owned business. Responsibility, quality and care is paramount to family businesses. Frome Valley excel.
