Do NOT Buy This Range or Anything from Frigidaire!
We bought the Frigidaire Gallery Induction Range about a year ago, and it has never worked properly from day one. It was delivered broken. When we requested a replacement, the “new” stove they brought looked like it came straight from a construction site — covered in sawdust, dented all along one side, and clearly used.
Because of this, we couldn’t even cook our Thanksgiving turkey last year and had to go to a friend’s house instead. Completely unacceptable.
Since then, the induction top has been serviced five times and replaced three times, and it still doesn’t work correctly. To get the burners to function, we literally have to keep a cast iron skillet on the range at all times, even when we’re not using it. It randomly shuts off in the middle of cooking, sometimes several times in one session.
And the customer service? Easily the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We’ve had multiple appointments scheduled where we took time off work — only for no one to show up. This happened at least three times, costing us money and time, only to be told afterward that somehow it was our fault. Every phone call feels like a runaround.
Right now, we’ve been waiting two weeks for a promised call to arrange another replacement. No one has called. No follow-up, no accountability. Just lies, delays, and excuses.
Frigidaire does not care about its customers. Their products are poor quality, unreliable, and their service is a nightmare. They would rather keep replacing busted parts for over a year than simply make things right.
Do not waste your time, money, or energy with this company. Save yourself the frustration — buy from literally anyone else.
Worst company ever.
Frigidaire Customer Support Sux
Bought a Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator 1 month ago. From day 1 it is making airplane noises. Have had 3 technicians out to try and fix the issue. The last one said the insulation was inadequate and the unit could not be repaired. I have gone back and forth with Frigidaire on getting a replacement but they denied the request because they want to send a "Master technician" out, whatever that means. This has been an absolute nightmare trying to get them to do the right thing. Unit is still under warranty for another 11 months.
Stove ..electric, exploded coil broiler unit
Stove ... oven coil exploded, all they said was it is a common issue and i can set up a tech to replace it... your broiler has a common issue of exploding in peoples house, will not own a frigi
Garbage Customer Service
My husband and I bought a brand new refrigerator from Frigidaire in September of 2025... October 5th of 2025 our BRAND NEW refrigerator stops cooling at least the fridge part, the freezer was completely fine. I contacted Frigidaire customer service to get a warranty claim and to get someone to come out to see what was wrong. Best they could do? A week! We lost $200 of groceries and couldn't even cook dinners because we couldn't store the leftovers. The technician came, told us that the fan motor was dead and needed replaced. Why would a THREE WEEK OLD refrigerator need a new fan already? Another week later the fridge is finally fixed and is still working, thankfully! Now comes the other issue, I ordered Crisper filters for our crisper drawers...They never sent a email saying my order shipped. I check the website and it says they have in fact shipped, so I click track, mind you they don't show the tracking number. Tracking reroutes to fedex and fedex says it doesn't exist! Its nearly a week since I ordered these now. I contact customer service again...Wait nearly 10 minutes just to get connected to an agent then for them to tell me they need to connect me to a different agent which again takes a few minutes. This new agent is rude, sends me the information I wanted and while I've been sitting on my phone the entire time waiting and staring at the messaging board, they say I left the chat and end it without saying anything! What the actual Hell! The filters won't come till the end of the week, Might be easier to get knockoffs off Amazon! Customer Service is absolute Garbage, I can't say how well the fridge is and or will be as it's been a month and we've already had issues.
WARNING! Don't do it!
Fridge has not worked properly since the day it was delivered. Customer service is non existent. There are consumer laws that they don't follow and could care less about. Owned this appliance for close to 3 months and still in limbo. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE OR ELECTROLUX!!
DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE- NOT WORTH IT
IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING PURCHASING MODEL
#GRFN2023AF 30 IN. 20 CUBIC FT. FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR OR ANY OTHER FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE, TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY...OR PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN PERIL:
I purchased this unit less than a year ago from Home Depot on their no-interest-for-one-year plan (essentially a bait & switch scheme, sanctioned by their appliance distributors/manufacturers). It has failed less than a year into purchase. Still paying it off, too. I'm a retired veteran on a fixed income. Paid a little over $1K with military discount, paid an extra $150.00 for the 3-year extended Allstate warranty (useless) and another $50.00 to have the old unit hauled away.
To begin: the deceptively-advertised, so-called "water dispenser" is a joke; it is a basic push-in lever with a hole, oddly/terribly positioned INSIDE the refrigerator near the shelf so that it is subject to being inadvertently pressed and dispensing not cold, but TEPID water all over the inside of the unit. Yes, you read that correctly: the water it dispenses is the same temp as the water from your supply line. GENIUS DESIGN, RIGHT? A Frigidaire technician informed me it was no flaw...it was designed that way INTENTIONALLY. Hard to believe? READ ON FOR MORE REASONS NOT TO BUY:
The compressor constantly growls, vibrates and whines so loud that I can hear it through the adjoining wall in the bathroom, as well as throughout the house. NOW, FOR THE BEST REASON NOT TO BUY:
Last weekend, my girlfriend and I awoke to find the refrigerator light out and a dark control panel. The freezer light was dimmed. Perplexed, I unplugged the unit and powered back up. There was an audible beep, then all the LED's flashed and it came back on. However, the freezer temp began cycling on its own and after a few seconds with the door open, it shut itself off again and both refrigerator and freezer went dark, and the compressor shut off. Took three days to get a technician sent out to assess issue. He was nice enough, but checked his tablet and said the control panel part was no longer available in inventory for some reason. He assured us he would request a new refrigerator replacement due to this fact, as it was still under manufacturer's warranty. He left. I call to confirm delivery date and suddenly find out there will be no replacement. There will be a part ("borrowed from a vendor" I was told...does that mean "used"?) and shipped out "at some point". And, after said part arrives at my address, a technician will be assigned to replace it, "at some point, TBD". In the meantime, we have the kids/grandkids arriving in three days for a family get together. Cookout, lots of meals. Had to cancel a visit we had planned for nearly a year. Lots of disappointed children (and adults). So, here we sit...no working refrigerator, no way to store perishable food (not to mention no recovering the expense of what we had to throw away).
Here's the icing on the bitter cake: The Allstate extended warranty is useless, as they will not touch it since it is still under manufacturer's warranty until next month. There you have it: not only a shoddy, poorly-made and non-existent QC product sold to unsuspecting consumers, but terrible service and useless, deceptive warranties to go with it. Do yourself a favor: save your hard-earned dollars, purchase something of better quality with actual, reliable customer service and warranties. These big box store scams to save a buck just aren't worth it. And, Frigidaire just isn't the company it once was...you can't count on them to stand by their products. You're on your own, folks. Good luck.
Terrible Customer Service, Impossible to Reach Them
Their customer service is really terrible. I ordered filters for my fridge online 2 weeks ago, and there is absolutely no way to find out where they are. They do not send tracking information when they ship things (which, come on, all companies do these days!). You cannot get through to anyone on the phone or with the chat feature. The wait time for the phone was over 35 minutes, and I eventually gave up on the chat too. Who has time for that? I even tried Facebook, and after taking all the information for my order, they directed me back to the phone or chat options that didn't work for me in the first place. I will be ordering these filters elsewhere from now on, and will not be purchasing anything from this company in the future.
Ongoing Fridge Failure, No Resolution — Filed with Consumer Protection Ontario
I purchased a Frigidaire FPRU19F8WF refrigerator for about $2,000, and it failed in under 4 years. Despite paying over $700 for an "all in one" service visit that confirmed a manufacture's defect and escalation to Frigidaire’s own executive escalation manager, the issue remains unresolved.
I’ve now filed a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario under the Consumer Protection Act, as well as a BBB complaint. Months of polite communication have gone nowhere. I’ve received no refund, replacement, or meaningful solution.
If you’re considering Frigidaire, understand that warranty support may leave you stranded when something goes wrong. I’ll update this review if Frigidaire provides a fair resolution, but so far this has been a deeply disappointing experience.
Damaged units being delivered
GCWD3067AF
I purchased this Frigidaire double wall oven. I have taken 3 days off of work. Each time a damaged unit is delivered and each time I have had to refuse delivery. Again 3 days off of work to accept/ inspect something that should be perfect. I would recommend people exercise caution when purchasing from this company/ this oven
My 6 month old Frigidaire Pro started…
My 6 month old Frigidaire Pro started make a loud whining sound. Sound like a fan going/gone bad. I called Frigidaire/Electrolux on September 30, 2025 and made a service call appointment for October 3, 2025. After the call I received an email from Frigidaire with the appointment details and a note saying “we recommend you call this number to confirm your appointment”. I called the number and found out the date Frigidaire gave me was only a REQUESTED DATE and there was no way the service provider could make the Oct 3. They said earliest date was October 8th.
Frigidaire/Electrolux Warranty Service policy and procedures are a SCAM!!!! They tell you that you have a confirmed appointment when you really DON’T…which they cover their butts by recommending you call the provider to confirm. I remember when Frigidaire was a trusted company. I will never buy from them again and strongly recommend you don’r
Don’t Trust Frigidaire or Electrolux
Purchased a fridge in March 2024 with extended warranty. The fridge continuously makes ice behind the crispers and as a result water forms inside the crispers. Had it serviced three times, parts have been replaced but the issue is not resolved as ice is still forming and is costing me money in spoiled produce. The last technician advised that they will not be returning as everything that could be done has been done yet the issue still persists. Therefore logically speaking the product is defective and Frigidaire and its manufacturer refuse to take any responsibility for it. I spent approximately $1,000 in good faith believing I purchased a properly functioning product and trusting the Frigidaire brand. Instead am the owner of a defective fridge and the extra warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Shame on you Frigidaire!
If I could give a negative rating I…
If I could give a negative rating I would. Piece of crap. Ice maker doesn’t work, food freezing. The service guy simply turned up the fridge and said don’t put any food to the back. DO NOT buy.
Labor Day sale runaround
Labor Day sale. I tried to buy a fridge and a stove. Problem was the site was glitchy and I couldn't purchase. Kept listing 3- 4 items when I only wanted two.Went on for hours. Nope. Next day I contacted Jefferson Luciano and explained it all to him. He said if I had screen shots with the order and order number we could do business. I sent the info. Kept coming back undeliverable as in it tries so many times before it gives up. I tried on my desktop and phone. No go. He previously texted he may try to get in touch with me. Yeah, right. You don't want my business? Cool. Not about to go begging to a company that treats buyers like this. I'll consider it an omen and with the previous reviews here and other sites, just consider myself having dodged a bullet.
Bought a brand-new Frigidaire fridge…
Bought a brand-new Frigidaire fridge from Rona and it never worked. A tech confirmed a major failure, but Electrolux refuses to replace it and keeps giving me the runaround. They even claimed they didn’t have the service report after the repair company told me they’d already sent it. Weeks later, still no fridge, just empty apologies and zero solutions.
I'm confident this is their standard practice - customer satisfaction is non-existent, not a priority to them.
I have been in an endless loop…
I have been in an endless loop attempting to schedule a warranty service call on a refrigerator. I did have brief moment of thinking an appointment was made. I was incorrect. What the customer service rep tells you and the test/email you receive after the phone call do not match. After the 6th unsuccessful loop, I realized they all provided false information in order to create a new ticket number. The promised scheduled dates never materialized. It was so consistent it must part of their training. They not only promise dates never to be met, customer service also tells you there are no repair techs in your area. After you ask, why would this time actually work to get an appointment, the answer is because I understand and can utilize the system to work for you. That was a lie 100% of the time. Scheduling a service call should be easy, one call, a date, morning or afternoon. Calling the people you talk to customer service is laughable if it wasn't so frustrating. Avoid this company, they do not deliver to their customers.
I purchased a side by side…
I purchased a side by side fridge/freezer that was delivered on the 13th of Sep last year. Yesterday it broke down (Sep 12). Exactly on the last day of the warranty. Frigidaire now wants to charge me for the repair. Awful that a major appliance does not even last a year. Frigidaire wants me to pay 120 dollars just for them to look at it and then the repair. Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.
Water in my newly delivered dishwasher???…
I ordered a Frigidaire dishwasher from Home Depot in Canada online. It was full of water right from the factory. What a mess! When I phoned customer service at Home Depot thinking it was used, the fellow said it was common (huh?) as it was probably tested to make sure it works, and I replied that they should make sure the water is drained out before shipping---don't you think? Anyways the dishwasher is going back as it does not fit into my 24" opening (whereas my old 24" dishwasher fit perfectly.
horrible company to deal with
horrible company to deal with. tried to purchase a dishwasher, said i qualified for free shipping. after i purchased it, they added on shipping. customer service sucks and made lots of assumptions.
i have screenshots to prove they are wrong.
i ended up fighting with them any they final canceled my order
Nice people but ineffective customer support
My dehumidifier failed after 8 months of use. I have had to call 9 times over 2 months - SO FAR - to get a replacement. I received an email last week that the replacement was going to be shipped, but they had the wrong address. I called to correct the address, they were accommodating. Today I received another email with the SAME WRONG ADDRESS on it. I will try again to get them to correct it today. Can't be more frustrated with their HORRIBLE customer service, but I'm too angry to give up now.
Frigidaire Professional = Constant Failures, No Support
I purchased a Frigidaire Professional appliance suite in March 2025 and within 4 months it has been a nightmare.
The range caught fire after just 6 weeks.
The first refrigerator completely defrosted and ruined all my food.
The replacement refrigerator constantly beeps every minute and builds condensation inside. I’ve had to keep turning the power on and off just to stop it — and sometimes that doesn’t even work.
The local store sent a repairman, but of course the beeping stopped while he was here, so nothing was fixed. I’ve emailed Frigidaire corporate and customer complaints multiple times and received no response at all.
For appliances that cost thousands and carry the “Professional” name, the quality is awful and the customer service is nonexistent. At this point I want a full refund — I shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to get working appliances.
Frigidaire should be ashamed of selling such poor-quality products and abandoning customers when things go wrong.
