Ordering was simple but actually…

Ordering was simple but actually receiving the order is a whole other issue. Thought I ordered from company based in UK as there was nothing on the website to suggest otherwise. However when after two weeks I was still waiting, I filled in the form again through the official website, only for reply to come from a lady in China. Regardless of the question, it's this one lady who replied and I had delivery times varying from 12 hours to 15 days. I requested a tracking number which on entering I discovered my order was still in China as in November 30th. It's now apparently been in transit to UK since December 1st. However today, December 8 the tracking still says same as last week. I tried the China EMS website and even selecting English language it's so difficult to navigate your way through it that I gave up. Only wish I'd searched for other Fred Perry outlets where you had guaranteed delivery dates as this is shocking. Like I said, placing the order isn't the problem, receiving it is. There should be information given which states the item is coming from China. Had I seen something like this, I'd never have ordered.

Terrible quality and service

I purchased a pair of shoes off fredperry.com at the beginning of the year. You’d think that since they are tennis shoes that they would last a long time and be durable, but these began to break and tear just from walking, let alone tennis, pretty quickly. When I emailed them for an exchange, a customer service representative (Sonia) told me that all I had to do was send the shoes back and they would replace them, as the damage was clearly a fault. After a month of no response from them, they told me they were sending my shoes back as no fault could be found. I do not inflict intentional damage on my shoes, nor do I use them improperly, therefore it was a real unpleasant surprise to hear this, especially since I had paid more than $50 to post them back. I will never shop with Fred Perry again, given their bad quality, and the insensitivity of the customer service team when I told them of how much I spent to send the shoes around the world for nothing. I will buy some decent shoes next time from a reputable and friendly brand.

The T shirts used to be such amazing…

The T shirts used to be such amazing quality, I still have some favourites from 4 years ago. Sadly, this is no longer the case, the neck lines are all wonky, the material used is drastically inferior and the fit is now very second rate. For £40 a time I do expect a quality product!

Iconic brand & great delivery service

I order from the Fred Perry website often online; they always have great new releases and the delivery service is always quick for UK customers as they do free next day delivery if ordered before a certain time. The swift delivery and high quality tops/dresses/accessories etc. of Fred Perry make my shopping experience everytime great and easy.

Nice Brand Poor Customer Service Online

I bought a few hundred pounds of shirts and clothes online - which is easy to do. The aftersales was much to be desired. They have zen desk - whatever that is, that gives you ticket numbers an automated emails but in my case no satisfactory answers to my basic questions. All I wanted was a formal receipt, or VAT invoice but they refused to supply, did not understand the need to supply one. I asked for someone else to help, accounts, a supervisor, but was blanked everyone. They are interested in is closing 'tickets' enquiries without giving satisfactory answers. I am still without a formal receipt. Apparently online sales do not get receipts. But that is not true because so many other companies do. I immediately went to Scotch & Soda and spent £700 there on another range of items instead of going back to Fred Perry. When asked for rciept - it was avaioabel in minutes - simple as. So Fred Perry lost a customer to the competition who gave excellent service and receipts and where easy to deal with - no fuss. Sorry Fred Perry, after 15 emails to try and get a receipt i am out. Nice brand - but that is not enough these days.
