5 Weeks and Still Waiting for My Refund
Returned an item over 5 weeks ago using Fragrance Direct's own prepaid returns label and have yet to receive my refund.
I've contacted their customer service team on multiple occasions and their 'investigation' simply consisted of repeatedly asking their warehouse whether the item had arrived, rather than checking the Royal Mail tracking. It took 3 weeks for them to establish what was obvious from the tracking information the whole time: Royal Mail had lost the parcel in transit.
Despite this, and despite providing proof of postage from day one, they have refused to refund me until the items are "received"; Items that are confirmed lost by their own courier, using a label they provided.
5 weeks on, with no refund and no clear path to resolution, I'd encourage anyone considering a purchase to factor in the risk that, should you need to return an item, the refund process may take significantly longer than reasonable, and their investigation process does not appear fit for purpose. I'll update this review if the matter is resolved.
At this point I will have to either chase Royal Mail myself or speak to my bank to recover my funds.
