Maybe not for me, despite what U Switch says

U Switch suggested Foxglove as cheapest supplier for me. Tried to switch online. Wouldn't work.
So tried to phone. Interesting. Kept on hold for half an hour and then gave up.
Then came on here and read the reviews. Hmmm. Not encouraging. Three main issues reported by reviewers:
1) serious difficulties with billing, including erroneous charges and aggressive debt collection.
2) unable to get refunds, having direct debits reestablished against their wishes, and receiving harassment with legal threats over disputed bills.
3) requent communication failures and long delays in resolving disputes and issuing refunds.

Fraudulent Company!

Fraudulent!

Bunch of bandits operating under OutFox The Market.
Like others on here, had a notice of account transfer to FoxGlove. Never did, never heard of them. Spoke to my current provider (Octopus) and they have quickly initiated rescinding the transfer request.

So kudos to Octopus for brilliant customer service again in delaing with this (like I would change from them) and to the directors of OutFox, maybe try and deal with your OfGem fines without stealing customers?

Unrequested transfer

Like many others here I had not heard of Foxglove energy until I received an email from my current energy provider saying they were sorry I was leaving.
After inquiring who was requesting the transfer it turned out to be Foxglove.
This is disgraceful and surely illegal.

Incorrect supplier switch request

I got a "Sorry you're going..." e-mail from my current electricity supplier at 18:44 on 14 Aug saying that I was switching to another supplier on Mon 19 Aug. Because of the short timescales I had to let my current electricity supplier know within 24 hours (by 15 Aug) if I hadn't requested the switch of supplier.

I've let my current electricity supplier know that I didn't request a switch - I haven't visited any comparison sites or spoken to any sales people.

It turns out that the switch notification came from Foxglove Energy Ltd. I've never had any contact with Foxglove Energy Ltd but would have ended up being their customer if I hadn't been able to respond to my current electricity supplier e-mail within 24 hours.

It could be a genuine mistake - someone near me selecting the wrong address from a drop-down list - but why haven't I received anything in the post if that's the case. If it was a genuine mistake, Foxglove Energy Ltd should do more to check and confirm the supply address before initiating the switch.

Looking at recent reviews makes me wonder if it wasn't a genuine mistake?

Shocking experience

I have a similar story to the other recent reviews. EON informed me that Foxglove had taken over my supply against my wishes and they gave me a contact number. I did some research and rang the number given to me by EON. It turns out Foxglove are Outfox The Market, I rang them and was told that they didn't do the switch it was Switchcraft and as EON have applied for my supply back there's nothing I can do I don't have any rights under the Erroneous Transfer Charter, so if you look at that on Google there are rights they have to send your £30 by way of compensation, don't have to pay the bill for the utilities that you've used while you were with them, they have deadlines and if they don't adhere to those deadlines they have to give you further 30 pound conversation and possible further £30. Apparently though, because they didn't do it and it was Switchcraft, I still have to pay them (I will not) Also my case can't now be treated as an erroneous transfer because EON have got my supply back. I will just go into Ofgem and the Ombudsman. This should not be allowed to happen.

0 stars!!!
My energy supply was switched without my consent from E-on to Foxglove, by a third party called Switchcraft who have a previous tenants details. none of them are taking responsibility and E-on are telling me that my switch was not erroneous and are trying to charge me £150 in exit fees when I never authorized or could even foresee this happening. I am currently in a bureaucratic loophole and will be taking it to ofgem and the energy ombudsman to investigate

Warning!!!!!!!

I received letters from Scottish Gas saying they were sorry I was leaving them....News To Me.
I phoned them immediately. I was yold a conpany called Foxglove Energy were taking on my supply.
I said,in no uncertain terms that I had not authorised any such thing and as far as I was concerned there is criminal or fraudulent activity involved.
How did they obtain my details? How can they transfer my direct debit without my consent or contact?
I am on the way to my bank now, Scottish Gas have put a Rescind Order on the transfer.
Something is very wrong with this company.

Had a call from my current supplier…

Had a call from my current supplier (EON) who informed me that "Foxglove Energy" had put a application through to take over my account.

I have NEVER had dealings with Foxglove, i have NEVER given them my information and i have (until today) NEVER heard of them.

This is a disgusting attempt at an erroneous transfer and im sure a breach of the Data Protection act also.

After looking online about this company and its dealings, im sure it wont be long until its shut down for its constant breaches of regulations.

Just google this company, see its reviews and read the horror stories...and stay well clear.

Probably the worst energy company EVER!

Probably the worst energy company EVER!
We left them in November last year, (after we spent 5 hours in their chat room!) they confirmed that we had moved to another provider and refunded a small overpayment (I was one of the lucky ones!) They are now chasing us for a four figure gas and electric bill when we haven't used them for over six months. My wife is ill with hypertension and this is the last thing we need. Shame on you.
Do yourself a favour and don't go anywhere this bunch of cowboys.....

Stay away

This is a two faced hypocritical company to be avoided at all cost simply asking for a joint account I was told that the other person would have to jump through all these hoops, however they are quite happy to make me sole responsibility on the bill yet we both sign the cheque and I never jumped through the hoops to get the account in the first place, hypocrites with no absolutely no standards
Just a load of words useless do not go near them unless you have a legal team to back you avoid at all costs

BEWARE OF FOXGLOVE ENERGY

IT IS BLATANTLY-OBVIOUS THAT FOXGLOVE ENERGY WRITES ITS OWN FAVOURABLE REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT.

I joined Foxglove energy in 2018, specifically because Foxglove stated clearly in its advertising that they only operate ONE payment method - QUARTERLY BILLING.
I am a man of almost 70 years of age, drawing a state pension.
FOXGLOVE ENERGY has NEVER EVER operated a quarterly billing system. In fact, right from the start, they were billing me monthly.
WORSE is that they have very recently made a claim against me in a COUNTY COURT for a (claimed) outstanding amount of money - which WAS NOT OUTSTANDING AT ALL. They even had the nerve to ADD INTEREST to the claimed debt.
The stress this has caused me is unwarranted, unjustified, therefore unecessary, and worst of all, heartless - made even worse by the County Courts' system that has no facility for people who are unskilled in using digital technology to even respond to such unwarranted legal action.

THIS COMPANY IS NO FRIEND. The owners of this company are heartless-crooks.
Everything that this company claims to be - they are not.
