Excellent!
I purchased capping for my fence panels. Excellent quality, service, delivery and most of all, the price. These were better quality and much cheaper than others I’d looked at. Free delivery, within two days of ordering, so this was excellent service.
I’ve purchased slate and flamingo stones previously, which were much cheaper than local companies. Again, excellent service and free delivery. Forward Builders will always be my go to company for future garden projects!

I have never purchased any building supplies before so I had no idea where I should look, I googled and found this company. They had an offer on the item I was looking for. I placed my order and had immediate cover confirmation. Communication has been great, product was great value (best price I saw anywhere else), fast delivery, polite and efficient delivery man. Thank you so much for your kind words and continued support Jim! We're really pleased to hear you're happy with the topsoil and our service. We truly appreciate your repeat custom, and look forward to helping you again in the future 😊
Beware of the top soil!
Edit: despite the companies reply on the 7th of June and my email to them the same day, it's now 18th June and they still haven't collected the soil or refunded me.
I ordered top soil and it is full of stones. Every handful I pick up has a couple of stones in. I've spent hours preparing my garden soil and getting it level, ready for this to go on top and now I'm stuck! Money down the drain.

Hi Catherine,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're very sorry to hear about your experience with our Black Gold Topsoil.
We understand how disappointing this must be—especially after all the time and effort you've put into preparing your garden. Our Black Gold Topsoil is a recycled product intended for general garden use, and although is screened to a high quality, there may be natural elements of twigs, stone etc.
If the product is still in the bulk bag, we would be more than happy to arrange a collection and replacement, or alternatively, offer you a full refund—whichever you’d prefer. Please get in touch with our team at 0151 357 1871 or email hello@forwardbs.co.uk with your order details, and we’ll do everything we can to resolve this as quickly as we can for you.
We genuinely appreciate your custom and hope to have the opportunity to make this right.
Kind regards,
The Forward Builders’ Supplies Team
Hi Catherine,
We can confirm that the bag has been collected, and refund processed. We apologize for the delay, and thank you for your patience on this issue!
